Actually, not a great price.......2006-10-06

The Smartmedia cards are getting phased out, which is only disappointing to those of us who have cameras that use them. I bought this 128mb card only because there are hardly any others to choose from. The price is pretty ridiculous actually...considering you can now buy 1Gig memory sticks for other types of cards at $40...including some that are the Olympus brand. Why should we pay $90 for only 128mb when you can get 1Gig for $40? Basically they are forcing all of us (who bought Olympus digital cameras when they were first really starting to come) to buy new cameras.

I tried to find smartmedia cards at Walmart and Radioshak but was told they were being phased out in favor of other media. I was happy to locate the item I was looking for at such a reasonable price and to receive it so quickly (within 1 week).
