Best bang for your buck!! Samsung!!! .......2007-03-21

I purchased this television used for $650 from a local seller because I purchased a PS3 a few months ago and I have to tell you that I am addicted to this beautiful television.

I have my computer, PS3, and HD cable box connected to this 32" screen, but I could not be happier. While it is a tad too big for a monitor, the resolution is amazingly clear, especially watching Prison Break and 24 in HD =)

I did not want to pick up an American brand because I've usually had bad experiences, and I am pleased with Samsung. While I am not able to afford top-notch brands like Sony, Samsung is much affordable and offers great quality for the money.

I would recommend this to anyone without hesitation. The only drawback is having all the inputs in the back. I wish they could have engineered it to include HDMI or cable inputs on the side.

I was sold on this lcd due mainly to the unbelievable 3000-1 contrast ratio surpassing anything I could find in this price range. I am thrilled with the picture quality particularly in H\D, but I have found most regular programming to be near H\D quality...Maybe it's my particular cable system. The only drawback for me was that there were not enough component inputs for my needs, but I solved this by purchasing a component switch box at short money which added 4 inputs. Very Nice TV.......2006-09-23

I bought this TV way back in Dec 05 and 9 months on it still working great.When I first got the TV out of the box the picture wasnt very good,but after playing around the picture control for a while I finaly got the TV looking great(Well great for me any way) HD of course looks the best on this TV and yeah DVD's look great too.Right now I have a Blu-Ray player and a HD DVD player hooked to it and the picture is awsome,cant wait to check out Superman Returns in High Def!Make sure if you get a Blu-Ray player or a HD DVD player to set the player to 1080i for best picture.My only gripe with the TV as I do have one dead pixel on the screen,but you have to be looking for it to see it.Well anyway this is a very nice TV and I give it 2 thumbs up.

I just recently purchased a refurbished Samsung LN-R328W. As of one week in with the TV I am completely satisfied. Picture with digital cable is quite good, but no one buys this model for standard picture. This TV really comes into its own with its HD picture. I was hesitant to buy a refurbished model, but for the amount of money I spend I would have only been able to get a Polaroid or Westinghouse 27-inch. The Samsung is far better than both of these brands, but lacks a build in HD tuner.
Here is the way I see it.
Pros: Remarkable HD picture, perfect size for my living room (12x25), excellent DVD(PS2) picture with component cables, Samsung reliability, and various picture settings to adjust for whatever you want to watch.
Cons: The speakers are very soft and not very loud. They produce good quality sound, but lack the volume and depth to match the picture quality, PIP requires two seperate inputs (shouldn't be a promblem though with a digital cable box, which comes with built in PIP), lackluster picture with analog signals. Finally, this TV has become my addiction, I can't get enough of its HD picture, "I needs it, I wants it".

I would highly recommend this model for anyone searching for their first LCD HDTV. I did two months of research and you aren't going to find much better than this for the price. More recent Samsung models come with 2 HDMI inputs, but I don't use my TV for computing. Enjoy!

Smallest TV available with component video, Great deal!.......2000-02-24

If you want component video but can't afford (or don't want) a 32" than this is the TV for you! And I tell you, it has the best quality! With component video, the picture is crystal clear (even better than S-video). I couldn't believe that there was no static or "dirt" on the picture at all! Especially good with wide screen. The borders are so black you don't even notice it's widescreen!

DON'T BUY ENVISION MONITORS!!!Especially this model. I've had two. The first one, the power went dead. Then a little after the 3 year warranty expired, the screen goes black and the only thing they offered me was a %15 discount to fix it which costs another $100 plus $50 shipping costs depending where you are(i'm in the same state, California). Thanks to all these other reviews, i'm finding that other people are having similar problems with this company. If I were you, i'd find a company WHO CARES ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS! STAY AWAY FROM ENVISION! THERE ARE SO MANY OTHER COMPANY'S IN THE MARKET RIGHT NOW TO CHOOSE FROM WHO MAKE QUALITY PRODUCTS AND WILL TREAT YOU RIGHT!

I am using this monitor for about 15 months, and it works great!
I recommend it to anyone who wants to find reasonable solution for such price.

VERY BAD PRODUCT.
DIGUSTING.
GEOMETRY IS ALL MESSED UP. I WORK ON 1280 BY 1024 AND MY VERTICAL DISTANCE IS MAXED OUT WITH ATLEAST HALF AN INCH BEFORE THE BORDERS.
It always messes up the geometry whenever I restart my computer. I work on GeForce FX 5200 (256 MB AGP) and still this monitor is the most useless product sold in the American markets.

I strongly suggest NO ENVISION Monitors.

Sharp but jittery even at 85Hz.......2003-08-26

I bought this monitor instead of an LCD to save money. Yes the resolution goes up to 1200 x 1084 at 85Hz, but it jitters. The screen geometry at any resolution is hopelessly warped at every corner. The color and sharpness are good, but that's about all.

Great monitor - great price.......2003-05-14

This 19" monitor is an absolutely beautiful thing. It's as flat as my old Trinitron-style Viewsonic, but without the annoying aperture grill wires.

It's an attractive LARGE flat-screen CRT monitor, and I do mean FLAT. Despite the large display area (18" viewable), the overall size is not outrageous. It stands 17 1/2" high, and it's about 17 1/2" long. It tips the scales at around 46 pounds, and the case is sleek-looking, not bulky.

It's PNP, which means the drivers Windows automatically loads for it work fine. I downloaded the drivers from the web site and installed them with no problems.

The digital controls are easy to figure out. I had this thing set up and running perfectly within a couple of minutes.

It produces a splendid image. Image quality is very good. I am particularly pleased that text is so sharp. Colors are good, and there are no flaws that I could see in geometry.

It worked well with my game, and switched resolutions quickly and *silently* when going from desktop to game, or back.

I bought it online for two hundred dollars, and I certainly feel I got a very good deal. I paid three times as much for my old Viewsonic monitor, and IMHO this is as good or better.

Bottom line:

I recommend the Envision 980e... 19" .25 mm flat CRT.

Pro: Handsome CRT large display, compact size, crisp text, good colors, easy controls. Great price. Three year warranty.

Con: No drivers included (download from web site). Skimpy manual.

This phone gave me all I needed in features:
*Cordless phone
*Caller ID
*Answering maching with digital read out
*PLUS you can review the calls from the handset instead of sitting by the machine.

I only have three problems with the unit:
1. The cordless clairity could be better
2. There is no date recorded with the message just time/day so if I end up saving a message for the future, I don't know what date it was recorded on. Not a real big deal.
3. There is no battery backup for the answering machine clock which is a BIG deal for me. It might have a small backup battery but in just moving the machine from one room to another I had to reset the clock and day which I can only assume that every time the power goes out, all new messages will have the wrong time until I set it again. This is not a hard thing to do but why not put a battery in it so you don't have to?

All things considered for less than $50 I guess I will keep it.
