The Lexmark Z65P is a high performance color inkjet printer with a built-in memory card reader at an affordable price.

A support tray extends to hold printed sheets, and twin paper trays hold blank sheets. This is useful for having photo paper in one tray and standard paper in the other. Buttons on the front of the printer let you easily switch between the two trays. To the right of the printer is a memory card reader that supports uploads and downloads for Multimedia cards, SD cards, Smart Media cards, Memory Stick, plus CompactFlash type I and II and IBM Microdrives.

The printer is easy to set up and install and comes with a clear and detailed manual that guides you through the process. It connects via your USB port. There are two ink cartridges supplied (one black and one for the other three printing colors--cyan, magenta, and yellow), and these are easy to clip into place. The card reader appears as an additional drive in the Windows desktop. The printer has an advanced software driver that helps you maximize its capabilities. You can use the driver to easily choose different quality settings and paper types.

The Z65P offers 4,800 x 1,200 dpi resolution and quotes speeds of up to 21 ppm for mono, and 15 ppm for color prints. The speeds are ambitious even when referring to draft quality as they do. However, text output is prompt for an inkjet and when you crank up the quality settings, you get crisp output with solid blacks. Color printing, which for most people means photos, can be a more time-consuming affair. Was lucky to burn the few CDs I did. Drive is lucky to recognize any media at all. Stay far away from HP stuff. At one time they stood for quality. Not any more.

Above Average CD-RW Drive.......2000-01-06

An above average drive. I work in my home/office with several other college students that do web design and almost all of our computers (9) have a CD-RW Drive. In all we have 6 different varieties of drives and I would have to rate this one the 2nd best out of the six. The Sony 6x8x32 is by far the best but almost $100 dollars more expensive than the HP. The speed may be slightly slower but it is about 99% succesful in copying. A snap to install and have had not run-ins with the HP tech support. A definate thumbs up and a highly suggested product.

I found this product a very good value. It performs as advertised and does an excellent job of creating CDs. It does just as good a job as more expensive units I've used and the software included is nice. I do recommend visiting HP's web site and downloading the latest upgrade if you are using NT. This is a good buy.

You will not be disappointed with this purchase. I compared the price with many other camcorders that had the same features and I couldnt believe what a savings this was. When I recieved it it took apprx 1 hour to charge the battery and I was recording.. I must add the durablilty is Great! (I dropped it on our cement garage floor and not one thing was broken with amazement! ) Great buy-& lots of fun with a professional touch! :)

I bought mine 3 weeks ago, and am very happy! Don't know where the reviewer below shopped, but I price-checked all over. This scanner is cheaper here than anywhere else online -- check for yourself, and search for "4300Cse".

I saved money because it's "refurbished". I was a little skeptical, but gave it a try. Glad I did! ...This looks brand-new, I can't tell the difference. Works just fine. Bottom-line, saved me bucks.

I would recommend this scanner to home-users. I'm happy.
