The Best Blank CD I've Found For Recording Your Music! I've Had No Problems Whatsoever With These! I Use These Strciktly For My Home Entertaiment Unit. They Produce Good Detail And A Rich Sound And I Have Had No Skips Or Any Kind Of Ohter Problems On My Sony CDP-CE375 Carousel Player! I've Tried Other Brands And Pro Series Consistantly Performs The Best.

I've bought the gold ones and they were great. But this time they were blue and the first one didn't write. only 40 x speed on these blue ones also. So ask the seller which color they have, ask for the gold ones.
maxell lost its quality.......2006-02-12
maxell has been one of my trusted use for blank discs for longer than i can remember.
up until sometime in 2005...when maxell changed their discs.
heres the difference
the 2004 model has the maxell guy on rhe left, and the cdr/80/700 tihng on the right. on the top it says maxell in big letters. also if you feel the background, it is a whole lot more stable. it doesnt chip easily. also the plastic used was not scratched easily.
the 2005/2006 model is a whole lot worse. it says cd-r onl eft, highlighted. on top of that it has maxell in small letters. on the right it says 80/700 and the maxell guy is right below it. the top of the disc is obviously used with cheaper material, and it scratches easily.
another thing noticeable from the two is burn errors. ive had no burn errors at all with either of the 2004 models (regular or music). on the 2005 model at least 80% failed.
also when using nero express i tested imation and sony cd-rs just to make sure my recorder was ok. imation had a 10% fail rate and sony had a 0% fail rate...my recorder works fine.
also, i tried burning at slower speed with no better results.
why would imation and sony work on my computer and maxell wouldnt. because maxell cd-rs are garbage. avoid at all costs get imation sony or get maxell but only if the discs look like i explained on the 2004 modle becuase those were literally the best cdrs ive ever owned.
Repackaged Taiyo Yuden Discs.......2006-01-02
I purchased these discs looking for a better then average disc. When I placed them in my Plextor drive I was very pleased to find that they are in fact Taiyo Yuden discs. They are of the highest quality and reliability, you can't go wrong with these discs. I haven't coastered one disc in ~ 500 burns.

With its built-in photo sensor, the StreetPilot 2610's bright display automatically adjusts to outside light conditions. The unit is powered through either its external speaker (which comes with a handy 12/24-volt adapter cable) or its dedicated AC power adapter; both are supplied.
The unit's built-in routable basemap covers North and South America and contains a wealth of practical and nuanced data, including state and country boundaries, lakes, rivers, streams, airports, cities, towns, coastlines, state and interstate highways, local thoroughfares, secondary roads within metro areas, and interstate exit information for services such as gas, food, and lodging.
The 2610 accepts downloadable map detail from Garmin's PC-based MapSource City Navigator DVD-ROM (included), which provides street-level detail, addresses, and listings of nearby restaurants, hotels, ATMs, and other attractions. (This feature requires a CompactFlash card, and a 128 MB CF card is included; you must first downloaded MapSource data in order to find points of interest and addresses.)

No satellite reception after 2 year of usage.......2007-05-07
Paid more than $600 for 2 year of usage, it was great for 1-1/2 year. After I realized the satellite signal was getting weaker, I saw more satellite drops even in the wide open area (rural area), like HWY-5. Now even for more than 10 minutes after power up, no signal at all, I updated the latest firmware, it doesn't get any signal at all. The GPS never been dropped, always put it back in the bag after usage.
My Garmin has been all over the US.......2007-04-20
I can't RAVE enough about my Garmin StreetPilot 2610! I have been over 10,000 miles with this GPS and it works great all of the time! It has never been lost or confused (like my Honda in-car navigation, it stinks), it tracks well with my vehicle and it ALWAYS is within 2 minutes of time it shows I will be there. If I start a 300 mile trip and it shows my arrival time at 5:30 PM, you can bet I will arrive at the door no later than 5:32 PM! It is truly amazing! It seems to even take into account short potty breaks for the kids!
If I am driving down the road and I get hungry or need gas, I click "find" on the remote and select the food or gas category and viola' it shows me how far I am from what establishment, then I click the one I want and it routes me there. That simple. :)
I know it's an older product, but it still works great! The remote is VERY handing, but the touch screen works well, too.
It isn't very often these days that I am so COMPLETELY satisfied with a product, but this has been one of those products. I am one of those people who like the latest electronics, but yet I am still satisfied with OLD Garmin StreetPilot.
If you buy one, you will need the newest (08/2006) mapping software for it, version 8, to get the most out of your new GPS. A 2GB compact flash will store the entire US and all POI(points-of-interest) for you. Garmin will also let you use the software on up to 2 Garmin GPS's, so you could buy 2 used ones and upgrade the software.
That's all I have for now. Did I mention that it works great?
Great car GPS!.......2007-03-08
I have been using this GPS for over a year now and am VERY pleased with it's performance, routing, mapping and entire feature set. The display is bright, easy to read and the sound directions work great. The touch screen with Remote Control make it very easy to program. I upgraded the mapping software and that went flawlessly. I also updated the Internal ROM software via the computer and that was very easy to do.

I bought this LG slim combo CD-RW/DVD-ROM unit to replace original Compaq Presario 2800 CD-ROM unit (HP part nbr. 285285-001). I don't know much about computers and I was afraid it didn't fit into my laptop but I took the chance given that lowest price that I found for the original unit was US$ 429 and I just paid US$ 50 + shipping and handling for this unit instead. It fitted well and it is faster than original unit. I am very pleased with this purchase.

I ordered this CD drive for my old Dell Dimension V350 PC running Windows 98. I installed the drive (didn't need instructions - just plugged the cables into the same slots as on the old drive), and it worked immediately. There wasn't any need to install a driver, although the drive did come with a CD, which probably has a driver on it. Note: I didn't use the CD writing feature of this drive, so I can't comment on that.
Bulk=No instructions........2007-06-20
I ordered this to replace a broken one. I read the product inforation before placing my order to make sure it was compatible with my system, but it didn't work when I got it. I'm knew to this, but I'm guessing bulk means not boxed up and no instructions. It would have been nice to be able to double check something. The bad part of doing a refund is that I don't have a printer, but Amazon was great with refunding everything.

Had to return it. Absolutely would not work with Compaq Presario. Some sort of conflict with one of the chipsets. Purchased a NetGear card and it worked like a charm.

At first I was a little worried with how the card would work with my 802.11n Airport Extreme, but up to this point I've been pleasantly surprised.
The installation was quick and my router hasn't had any problems picking it up. Great strength from all across the house. This card will do most everything you need for a very low cost.

The G650 works as Advertised. However, I find there are many other better products out now.
The corded D-link USB adapter I bought since I bought this G650 is far better than the G650 in my particular application. It gives you the flexibility to move the antenna to a better reception spot.
