Appalling Customer Service.......2007-02-14

Never buy a product from Westinghouse Digital. I purchased a laptop from them and it arrived with major hardware problems. Upon discovering the problem with my computer, I attempted to obtain an RMA number and my call was NEVER returned. Without this number you cannot get anything serviced. After I called 3 times over the period of two weeks, someone finally told me the number and the address. They received my package on January 9, and I have not heard a single thing since then (February 13). Furthermore, everytime I have called to inquire, I have been on hold for an unacceptably long period, and when my call was finally answered, the response was that they knew nothing and would get back to me, which never happened. I have been without my computer for a month and a half now, with no end in sight. It is a gamble to purchase any product from this company, since any factory defect may lead you to lose complete track of your property and spend countless hours on hold and listening to excuses.

I just got this TV 3 days ago,its quality is more than what i expect,it using on my kitchen very nice picture & 2 speaker output was great.if you are connect with a component cable to play back DVD movies,its great!
But,I still don't know how to use Picture in Picture.
The user manual was not listing clearly how to operate the remote control.

In the last week I have purchased 2 LCD televisions. The first was a Funai 20" TV. I took it out of the box and was not impressed at all, first of all the television was extremely bulky, second it looked a little archaic, third the picture wasn't that great, and last the sound was horrible! I returned the Funai, which cost $150 more, and purchased the Westinghouse 20" which I love. The picture is awesome, it has a tilting screen to adjust the angle of viewing, the sound is a million times better and the overall aesthetics of the television are great. Also, the input jacks are located in the ideal spot so you can easily hide the wires behind the stand. I would absolutely recommend this television to anyone. I just received mine today and just unboxed it and hooked it up to my DVD player and popped in a disk.
The picture is great and the additional items that come in the box are wonderful.
It has picture in picture and can hook up to a PC but I haven't tried these yet.
We bought it for out Fifthwheel trailer because we had only 15" depth and a conventional TV would not fit.
From the 15 minutes that I have played with it I am very satisfied that it is a quality unit with great picture and viewing angle, speakers are very good also.(8w)
The reason I gave it only 4 stars is that I haven't tried everything yet because I'm loading into the coach now and heading down the road...good luck with yours.

Infinity Beta 20.......2004-12-19

The Infinity Beta 20's produce a very smooth, natural sound - without booming bass or shrill highs found on many speakers. I compared this with others in the Infinity line (Primus 150), as well as from Bose (201), Yamaha (6490), and Klipsch (KLIRB15).

New out of the box, they sound great, and after a few weeks of use, they sound even smoother. The CMMD drivers do an outstanding job of producing great bass while not being punchy. The highs are very clean and clear, without being raspy or harsh. I like the flat, non-coloring texture of the sound; they just simply re-create what is there, and therefore sound like a live performance.

If you go to a store to listen to them, ask how long the speakers have been on display, the longer the better. Ask them to set the receiver / amp to stereo mode with a flat EQ or treble and bass so that the receiver doesn't color the results. And make sure the amp has solid clean power, since these speakers reveal any clipping when a small or cheaper amp (especially a HT multi-channel) is pushed towards its limit.

I think you will agree that for the price (and size), they are hard to beat.

I had PS2 switch and now for my new USB mouse and keyboard, I bought this switch.The description to me clearly suggested that it is fully USB compliant. After buying it I read Customer reviews. The reviews scared me as it seemed the hot keys on my keyboard will not work and my MS 4 button optical mouse with scroll wheel will function only like a two button mouse and no scrolling. I also read the data sheeet from Hawking website. There they mention that this switch works with most keyboards and mouse. This made me feel that I had bought the wrong thing. However on receipt of the switch, I found that with proper connections, most of the hot keys work and all the 4 buttons plus the scroll wheel work. I am happy having bought this at a discount at Amazon Marketplace.

Caution: Doesn't work with all USB keyboards or mice.......2003-01-23

If you are planning on using a USB keyboard that has multi-media buttons or a USB mouse with a scroller wheel, it may not work with this KVM.

I got my KVM and it worked great until I plugged a Microsoft Natural Pro keyboard into it. Windows XP would not recognize the keyboard and Hawking tech support said this KVM does not support non-standard 101 keyboards or mice with scroller wheels.

I'm using two Windows 2000 machines with a Logitech MX700 USB mouse and Logitech Elite USB Keyboard. When I hooked up this switch I found that the mouse and keyboard don't work after swithing between systems.

I emailed Hawking support and waited two days for an answer.

Their reply was, "please make sure to use 2-button standard mouse with no wheel and 101-key standard keyboard." This is despite the fact that the product box says "support (sic) most USB & PS/2 Mouse, USB & PS/2 Keyboard."

Unless you have a very simple mouse and keyboard, don't bother buying this product.

I got this with my computer and used it for about a year until I got a new camera. This camera was easy to set up, but the picture quality is horrendous. If picture quality isn't a big deal to you, the Intel Easy PC Cam pack will work for you; but if you like having quality images, save your money and invest in a better webcam (like the Intel Pocket PC Cam).

If you can find one of these you won't be disappointed. The video is crisp and clear and, unlike some webcams, sending video does not slow your computer to any noticeable degree. Installation is simple and the swivel mount makes aiming easy. One small problem - the camera does not work with CUSeeMe software for some reason. But it works great with NetMeeting, Paltalk, Yahoo, ICUII that I know of. They are tough to find - don't know if they are out of production or what. Far better than several others I've tried.

The cheapest little camera you'll ever love.......2002-03-08

When I upgraded to Win. XP the first thing it decided not to accept was my PC Cam. It was close to christmas time and I had spent a bundle and was looking for an inexpensive camera that would just be compatable with XP until after the holidays when I was sure I'd find a bargain. That was four months ago. I am so impressed with what this little cam can do that I havent bothered to look any further. Part of what I like about this cam is the software that allows you to make video postcards, AVI videos to send through email and the photo storage. it's a great camera for the price and very campatable with Win XP I highly recommend it.

I received this free with Microsoft Office 2000. For a freebie, it's decent, but I wouldn't pay for it.

The picture is small, and of bad quality. Sure, the camera is cheap, but the quality is really below average. I have trouble with the colour - it can vary between very dark to very light (without changes in the light of the room!) and sometimes has a green or blue tinge.

If I were you, I think I'd save up some more and buy one of a bit better quality. The Intel Pocket PC Camera Pack may cost more, but it is definitely of much better quality.

Well, this camera is pretty good if you just want it for the sole purpose of having one. This came is clear as far as having daylight in the room, but at night, im not sure if you should even bother doing it unless you have the lamp shade off, but even that barely works. So, what I'm trying to say is, if you want the best quality, I wouldn't bother with this one. if you just want something for cheap, but works well enough, then this one is pretty good.
