we have had 3 or 4 different car kits. this one is the best.
IHF 1000.......2007-06-01
Just installed it myself in my 1998 Expedition. Paired it with my Motorola RAZR. I wanted to have the audio come through the factory speakers, but I couldn't find a compatible T-harness for my model year, so I had to use the speaker that came with the unit. The audio from the IHF 1000 speaker is VERY good, so not being able to use the factory speakers turned out to be not a big deal at all. Without the T-harness, you'll need to connect 3 wires to your vehicle: Ground, +12V battery, and +12V Ignition. I've only used it a couple of days but I haven't had a single voice command misfire yet. I mounted the microphone on the headliner to the left of the driver's visor. The 20 numbers you can program right into the unit makes this model worth the extra money. You have to issue a couple extra voice commands to access all the voice tags in the RAZR, so I have about 6 numbers I call most often programmed into the IHF1000 and access all the other numbers in my RAZR through additional voice commands. I've used the Motorola ear-piece and speaker phone units clipped on the visor. They're not even in the same league.

I bought this for my wife, although I do have to admit I was unable to buy it from amazon -- after two attempts (original order, and replacement order), in which they sent me a palm treo skin instead of the IHF1000, I just canceled the order and ordered elsewhere.
When we opened the package (it was an xmass present) I took a look at the install and decided I didn't have the time to deal with it, so I went by the local Best Buy store and they agreed to install it for $80. Installation went great and looks much better than it would had I installed it.
It works great. Even when I programmed in a number with my voice, she was able to use that programming. When the car starts up, the system announces that it has found "phone 1" (my wife's RAZR) and she can then dial and/or answer without having to take the phone out of her purse.
Hopefully amazon has fixed their problem with order processing of this item, but that shouldn't impinge the item itself.
IHF1000 with Katana SCP-6600. .......2007-01-18
I installed this car kit and paired it with my Sanyo SCP-6600 Katana cell phone. The voice recignition and sound quality are great. Everything works good with the system except for the pairing. Everytime I start my car the IHF1000 reports "phone 1 ready." Problem is that some numbers it dials, and some numbers it doesn't. I can call my home number via number recognition or from the contact list with no problems. But when I call other numbers the IHF1000 says "call failed" almost immediately. If I remove all paired phones from the IHF1000 (even though I only have my only phone paired) and re-pair my phone it works great.....until I shut my car off. So bottom line, even though my car kit says "phone 1 ready" everytime I start my car, certain numbers won't work unless I removed all phones then re-pair the phone each time. I've fooled with mulitple settings on my phone and still can't get it to work. Anybody have similar problems or know a work around? [...]

Designed for a small business or home office, the GE 2-9433 is a two-line phone with sturdy construction and attractive design. GE has an excellent reputation for quality products, and this phone's performance seemed to measure up to that standard of quality.
The set up process consisted of inserting four AA batteries (not included), connecting the handset, and connecting the base either to one RJ14 jack or to two RJ11 jacks. With two lines connected, we were able to use the phone for conference calling. Storing and dialing numbers in memory was intuitive and we didn't need to consult the well-written owner's manual.
An especially handy feature of the GE 2-9433 is Busy Redial. If you get a busy signal, just press one button and hang up. The phone automatically redials the busy number every 10 to 90 seconds (you select the time in 10-second increments) and beeps to let you know when the number is no longer busy.

Fast Color Laser.......2004-02-25
Just purchased this unit to print postcards on heavy stock paper, two sided. Works great on Win 2000/XP and terrible on Win98 across network. Prints photos FAST and very sharp. 500 sheet feeder hangs occasionally with heavy paper, multi feed slot pulls card stock through flawlessly. I don't expect many problems with a $2000 printer and didn't find many other than the Win98 problem and the cost of replacement toners, $450 for all 4 toners. Duplex feature is oddly buried in the printer properties dialog box, almost impossible to find, you'd think since the duplex feature is what sets this model apart from the other magicolor unit Minolta might make it easier to use. I don't have any experiences with other color lasers so your mileage could vary.

THE BEST CARD I HAVE.......2004-10-11
I think this is a great card for the money. This size seems to me a good value and you can still get a lot of pictures on it. [500 ?] I have found the Lexar cards to be noticeably faster than the Viking. I don't know why Amazon is pushing Viking so hard they are CLEARLY not the best. I also have a larger SanDisk card that I would say is as good as Lexar so check them out too.

the kreisen 37" flat screen tv arrived. plugged it in, doesn't work. buyer beware, amazon does not accept returns of televisions over 27". had to wait over 2 days for a reply to our numerous phone calls to kreisen, television was shipped back to them. we still have not recieved a working television.
