I was not happy with this product. It does not charge correctly and it is too much work to return. I bought two and never use it.

I bought this headset for 80 bucks after reading all the good reviews. Let me tell you the truth...it worked great in the first few days, then started troubling me. Charging this is a pain...the wall charger has a pen-cap shaped device where you have to insert this into...it gets inserted but does not touch the charging pins that easy. I have to press a little to make it hit the charging pins but that gets loose as well and does not charge. I have never tried the pen charger. Sound quality is not that great either. Overall to expensive for the product

PIECE OF JUNK -- DO NOT BUY!!.......2007-08-02

I bought this headset for use with my Treo since it was recommended on the Treo headset. The first unit I received worked relatively well. Good volume (unlike the Motorolas, which I've tried) and linked relatively easily to the phone (i.e., when I placed a call, I could hit the button on the Plantronics, at which point it would link up to the phone and I could use the headset). The only problem was that after a few months, the battery stopped charging so I had to send it in for a new unit. The only other complaint I had about this particular unit was that when making an outboud call, you had to hit send on the phone, and then hit the button on the bluetooth to use the headset, rather than the headset linking up automatically. Otherwise, it was was a relatively good unit, until the battery gave out.

I received the replacement from Plantronics promptly. This time, the battery could charge, but the headset would only link up about 20% of the time. In other words, I would try to place a call, hit the button on the Plantronics, and the two would not link. I've tried pretty much everything (re-pairing, turning the Plantronics on/off, turning the phone on/off) and nothing seems to work. At the present moment, I can't even get my phone to pair with the headset (it recognizes that the headset is there, but cannot successfully pair).

Since I have had no problems with linking on this particular phone (the Motorola linked flawlessly and the previous Plantronics linked pretty reliably), I'm pretty comfortable concluding that it is not the phone, but the headset that is the problem.

Save yourself the frustration and money and buy another headset.

Great Performance 1 Drawback.......2007-07-17

The in-ear design is great and with different ear plugins to choose from it has many options. The lightweight feel is a good, sometimes you'll even forget that you have it on. Its styling is very sleek, I actually like it better than other ones that look too bulky and flashy. This one is subtle, no flashy colors, or extreme blinking lights. The buttons are placed well, and you can easily raise or lower the volume on the call.
Things that I would like to see different is the locking mechanism for the in ear plugs. The tube that's supposed to lock the plug into place is made of plastic that wears down very easily with normal wear and tear. I've had to replace 3 plugs already because of this. It should've been designed with a button type hook or maybe even just a permanent lock. That would be my only complaint on this product.

This is a very good headset. It is a compact,light weight, clear headset. I like the idea of the charging system. The only thing I can say is for some reason I couldn't get it to pair with my computer, but my cell phone no problem. It is definitely worth the money though.

This amplifier works fine and does exactly what it says it will do. THe one problem is that the description doesn't tell you that your HAVE TO have is a remote control (Purchased Seperately) to make this unit work. So tack on another $80 or so to the price if you want the unit to function.
