The T9 armband and MP3 player case works as described, I use the case on a regular basis, with my only complaint is that, even with before mentioned modifications to the case, the USB connection does not work well with the player in the case. It is no big deal and now I just remove the player from the case each night while updating and charging. I do like the magnetic clasp and I am able to use all controls w/o any difficulty. I also use a Sennheiser CX300 pair of earbuds with a sideways plug w/o any issues.
The arm band does its job and I find it is especially nice when working out in the yard. Overall the quality of both the case and armband seem pretty good, I've only used it for a few weeks, I guess I'll know more about the durability over time.
For me, I felt the price is about average for this type of accessory and believe it is worth the cost.

Although there isn't much to choose from for the Samsung T9, this case is perfect. You can remove the case from the armband to carry alone. The armband is very comfortable. I wondered how it would fit my small arm, but it has a cinch that gives a great fit. I love how the button functions are right on the side of the case for easy access.
How to make this case work for you.......2007-06-13
While this case is snug (actually, it's form fitting)I figured out a way to be able to plug in the USB cable without removing the T9 from the case (which was a problem mentioned by another reviewer). The idea came from the method shared by still another reviewer where they said that they stretched the case with their fingers so that the case did not press against the buttons. (I also did that and it works. Thanks for the idea and methodology.)Take the USB end of the cable and insert it into the case (with the player removed, of course) from the open end/top of the case. Pull the cable all the way through from the top of the case through the opening in the bottom of the case until the wide end of the cable (i.e. the part that plugs into the T9) reaches the hole in the bottom of the case. It will be too wide to pull through that bottom opening. However, if you take that end of the cable and rotate it several times against the hole/opening in the bottom of the case, thus carefully widening the hole, that hole will eventually become wide enough for the wide end of the cable to slip through it. If done carefully, you will not hurt the case, you will just widen the hole. Now put the T9 back into the case and, voila, if you widened the hole enough, the cable will plug into the player from the bottom of the case allowing you to charge the battery or download additional songs, etc. If the cable does not quite fit, yet, repeat the process above until it does. Between that and the other reviewer's suggestion to keep the case from pressing the buttons, you will have an excellent product to protect your new T9. Hope this helps. I learn a lot from reading tips from other Amazon reviews and wanted to add this, my first review, in the hopes that it might help others, as I've been helped.

Fits Like a Glove. .......2007-01-11
I looked all over for a case for my Z5 but none of them had a belt clip which is where I wear my player when I run, finally found this case from DLO and its perfect. Fits like a glove, and the touch pad actually works a little better with the plastic shield over it in my opinion. The lock button is a little weird engaging and disengaging through the case cause theres no cut out at the top for it, but its no big deal.
Overall after everything ive seen id say this is the best case for the Z5

This jacket is basicaly pretty good. My only gripe is that the belt clip hangs up on the enclosure seal when you rotate it. So I have to use 2 hands to spin it.

This jacket fit the mp3 player nicely and performed as advertised, but that big clip on the back of the jacket constantly gets caught on things when you try to put it into a briefcase or pocket. After only two weeks, I broke mine off and had to buy a new one. But, as far as I know, DLO has the market cornered on cases for the Samsung T7.

This two part set has great features. magnetic closure on the pouch, clear protective cover, buttons are labeled on elastic cover.
The two part construction is great for each use. on you belt or pocket the small piece easy to use. Clip it to the armband and go skating in the park, or jam out in the gym.
Two complaints that I must mention. The port on the botton is just a little bit too small and it takes a while to get it plugged into my TuneCast. Also there is no place to store the head phones when not using the T9

I've tried others but none can hold up to the scrutiny that this product has experienced. Okay, so it cost me a marriage and a career, but I'd buy a back up, if I wasn't locked up. When I get out they'll have the third series available with higher restitution but softer focus.
If I were to mention a complaint, it would be that sometimes it seems as though it is half empty, but the owner's manual says that when in doubt, do nothing. Yes, nothing, at least until you can be reasonably sure that it is half-full. The owner's manual also suggest that calibration may be more easily achieved by soliciting the aid of a good friend, but not if you have the auto-dialer model, and your friend uses bi-focals.
I'll spend my last dollar and go into debt to buy something, anything. I need to feel like I deserve to buy this, but I've no more room in the closet and dialing for dollars is on the speakerphone. So, try one or two before everyone does. I hate being the last one to catch on to a trend that's why I don't by things on sale. I usually go to overpriced.com. I need more status, but my Visa needs to be paid. Don't tell me that I don't need no stinking Visa, our president said the good Americans spend money on luxury junk that's sold by corporations and made in sweatshops.
