I bought this battery for an older model Motorola flip phone. It charged up fine and the phone works great (even though I only use it to play a game that is on the phone) and I think the battery life is longer than the original. I would definitely buy this again.

I bought this battery a few weeks ago. It is not perfect, but it is better than spending $40 on a new battery. The charge lasts for 2-3 days, but the problem I have had is that with the new battery, my phone turns itself off if it gets bumped. This loose connection may or may not be the fault of the battery.

Why the hell would Motorola hire a third-party BVRS software.......2005-02-19

I have used the software since its early version from V300, V400 to the new V180. the darn thing never worked properly on the V300 and it's probably not the software fault as the phone needed a firmware upgrade. Recently i tried to transfer phone book from one V180 to another V180. It took me update to the latest version and removing all the excessive/unnecessary modem entries from Control Panel | Modems, so that it could finally see the phone the right way. Then after getting into the software and configured it to explicitly use the assigned modem(phone) it finally worked. The whole process took 1 and 1/2 days. With Ericsson software, things were never this messy.

Not yet reliable.......2005-01-09

I bought the Bluetooth version to use with a Motorola V551. Followed installation directions but Windows did not recognize the Bluetooth device. Called support line (in India) and they walked me through the driver issues. Then software would not run. Called support and they went through the update process. I managed to sync my Outlook address book, but the PC froze when trying the calendar. I also took the Bluetooth device out of the hub, and when I put it back in, the drivers had vanished. Once again called for support. Once again reinstalled drivers. They said that the software would not work with my version of Outlook Calendar (2003), so I should rather use an older version of Outlook. I decided not to do this, and I am waiting for a fix from Motorola. In the interim, I have not been able to transfer any ringtones, as the software does not work properly, and I only managed to send one photo to the phone (before the software stopped responding). I will have to call support again to try and find out what is wrong. This is potentially a great product, and I have enjoyed using it the couple of times that I have got it to work. Until they sort out the bugs though, I suggest that you stay away (especially from the Bluetooth version).

The charger works, yes, but so does every other kind you could get. In reality, there aren't too many bad things one could say about a charger. However, this one you can. It humms so loud that I can't have it in the bedroom at night and since that's where I charge my phone, the charger is useless to me. Maybe I'm paranoid, but electronic devices that hum when they aren't supposed to, make me think of fires... Again, not something to look forward to.

Although the charger works like it should, plugging it in to the phone is somewhat of a challenge. I'm not sure if this is my phone's fault or the charger's fault (or both), but when I plug the charger into the phone, I always have to mess with it a little to get it to start chargeing. Another thing I've noticed is that when the phone is chargeing, the charger makes a werid and really annoying humming noise. If you don't sleep next to your phone charger, this shouldn't be a problem, but otherwise, this can get pretty annoying. Again, I'm not sure if this problem is due to my phone or the charger. Overall, the phone charges when plugged in, so I'm happy with it!

No problems at all with the order & delivery of the battery. It lasts longer than the original battery when it was new. I was suprised that the battery is thicker than the original, so it makes the back of the phone stick out just a bit. I have not found that to be a problem though - the phone still fits just fine in my purse cell phone compartment and in my jeans pocket. It's much nicer to have the battery last for 4 days instead of 4 or 5 hours like my old one!

Well, I popped this battery into my V635 and fully charged it. I was hopefully but 2 days later, it is already giving me problems. My phone keeps powering off when there is still some charge in it. And now the battery is already drained and not working correctly even when I've got it hooked up to the charger. Fooey!

I dont understand the difference in price of batteries for cell phones, typically my cell provider(where i buy my phones) will try and sell me another phone when i need a new battery because of the high cost of the battery($34.00 in this case). Then i find this battery online and am skeptical of the quality because of cost(1/3 of cost from phone provider) but took a chance because didnt figure i was out much. Well i was wrong, unless i got lucky to get a good one, it is performing as well as the original battery did when the phone was new. I was unsure because some of the ratings show experiences not as good as mine. But i will buy another as my batteries need replacing.

Last time I bought a cell phone battery from Amazon it did not stay charged long. This battery is very good! It stays charged over 24 hours and does'nt give me problems like the last one.
