These work great for watching tv and are comfortable on my big head. I plugged them into my ipod and tried to blast Tool and that didn't work great. It is nice to be cordless with the music and they sound good at medium volume.

Excellent Buy.......2007-09-21

I bought two of these for myself and my husband because we have a baby and live in an apartment, and we wanted to be able to watch tv without making too much noise. The reception is excellent, there is no hissing noise that I read some other reviewers mention. It is actually very clear with no interference. However, when we played around with the tuner, we were able to listin to out neighbor's phone conversation. Overall, it is a great product for the price.

We bought a new HDTV earlier this year with more hookups than we knew what to do with. However our new "toy" can get very loud as my son plays video games or my husband watches Letterman late at night. NOT ANY MORE! With the Sennheiser Rs120 the boys can play and I can sleep! And the sound quality is remarkable, the lack of static is impressive, and BLAH BLAH BLAH... that's my husbands comments. As for me I just care about the rest that I can finally get, for as you know, we domestic goddesses must get our beauty sleep.

Comfortable and convenient.......2007-09-20

We're using as many other people do: to watch TV while not bothering other people in the house. We purchased two of them, and for the most part they are very good.

Pros:
- Very comfortable. Ear muffs are a comfortable cloth design, not plastic or foam. Can wear for hours with no problem, unlike others I've tried. Adjustable band doesn't slip while wearing.
- Good (but not perfect) sound. Good stereo, very clear, easily loud enough. Open-air design means I can still hear things in room relatively well, which is good for holding a conversation -- while wearing the headsets -- without yelling.
- Convenient charging. The transmitter/base station is also the charger. Hanging them on the wire hanger of the base charges the headphones (there are two metal strips on the underside of the headband which make contact with the wire hanger). Nice not to have to plug/un-plug a charger, and then have to find where to lay down the headphones so they don't get damaged or look like a mess. The Senheiser solution is very nice.
- Good battery life. I've yet to run out of a charge, even during long periods of use (a full day).

Cons:
- When audio feeding the base stations is very very low or muted for a couple of minutes, the base stations automatically stop transmitting. This has the effect of the headsets going to just static noise at that point, which can be disconcerting.
- The volume and tuning dials on the side of the headphone are very near one another and feel the same, so easy to be untuning the headphones when intending to adjust the volume instead.

Great headphones in certain environments.......2007-09-17

I purchased these headphones to use at my office. Unfortunately I was unable to use them due to interference. I think the source of the interference was fluorescent lights. I was also able to pick up some cell phone conversations. I took the headphones home and they worked like a champ. They have great range, long battery life and are very simple to use.
I would recommend if you plan on using at home.

Sound quality is OK. You have to balance between headphone volume, volume on your pc and volume on mp3 player.

Could be better keeping other sounds out.
Comfortable, I where them for extended periods at work.

The only negative comment I have is that It could be better handling startling static through headphones when the base station cuts off. Really no excuse for that.

I bought these for my mother so she can hear the television dialog better. They work pretty well although they do sometimes get fuzzy sounding...probably due to interference from some appliance. Overall a good value and easy to setup.

The Headphones have been great, since they were a remanufacture they didnt come with any directions. That said they are headphones and somewhat self explanitory. The sound is great and the range is good. I can now whatch the news in the morning without hearing any complaints from My girlfriend about the loud TV

I would not recommend this cable but hear me out on my reason. I am unsure if this is a genuine Sennheiser cable since nowhere on the cable is there a 'Sennheiser' tag, instead it's a company like Mogami or something. I am not a name person, but when the 1/4" jack spins and doesn't have that solid connection when plugged into the instrument, I question the authenticity of this cable. I had to pull the cable in a certain direction in order for the jack to make a connection. I know Sennheiser to be a top-quality name, and when I saw the opportunity to get it for a lower price here, I went for it. Unfortunately, I am very disappointed with the cable, and since there is no returning it I will have to bust out the soldering iron and make it work the best it can.

I purchased this item on August 27, 2006, today, February 2, 2007 it died.

Memorex Internal CDRW Drive.......2006-07-17

So far I'm quite pleased with the performance of the Memorex CDRW drive. I've had some trouble with the supporting software (Nero) but I'll probably be able to work it out. One other problem is that the drive model is new enough that some other software does not support it, for example, Comcast Rhapsody does is not compatible with this drive. I've been able to patch together a "work around" this problem however.

Great Burner, Incredible Price!.......2006-07-04

This is a high quality burner which replaced a 7+ old HP that finally went out on me. I love the fact that it came with a black & a beige faceplate to match the color of my CPU. It was very easy to install if you are experienced w/ computer installations. Still, I don't think a novice would have a problem with the instructions. The Nero burner software is very simple to use & has other programs like for digital picture storage, even one where you can edit mp3 tracks. I'm very happy with the purchase.

This CD R/RW drive sounds better than the Samsung player that came with my HP Pavilion 793. Clearer, crisper. Installing was a snap. Pulled the old one, changed jumpers on the new one to match the old one, installed the new one. That was it. I did not use the software that came with it, nor did I install a new driver. Using MusicMatch 8.2 for playing, ripping music and burning CDs.

I previously replaced the original equipment DVD burner in this computer with a Memorex drive (DVD+/-RW True8XI) and I love that, too.

Note - Both still great 15 months later.
