BUYER BE VERY AWARE!.......2007-08-28
Incredibly, I am told that Olympus camera software is not compatible with Microsoft PCs. So, to read my Olympus media card, I had to purchase a media card reader. No big deal if it works...but it DOES NOT! I installed the software on two different PCs, rebooted both computers and NOTHING! Neither computer can even find the device let alone read it. On top of that, every time I try to find the reader, my computer wants to reinstall the reader software. If you have an older Olympus camera like I do, don't spend your money on this reader; it is a waste.

Followed all directions,when I tried to download pictures, the indicator light didn't flash or stay lit at all. I got an error message saying something about the logo not being proper and that I should return to merchant to have it made right. Needed to use it right away. so I borrowed a friend's webcam and took pictures for my auctions with it. I was very disgusted, so I never wrote you and just took the loss. I haven't used you since.

The sole reason I bought the reader was for the xD reader. and that works perfectly. however, i tried to use it with my SD card, like it claims it can do, and I actually broke it in half (the card) trying to put it in the reader. I really did not pay much for it, so being it serves it's purpose. And I was able to still use the SD card after it broke, so I still can't complain too much. But if you are buying it for it's "all-in-one" capabilities, don't.

This card reader is a good product and I got it at a great price from J&R, via Amazon, when I gave up trying to buy it at Olympus' lame website.

I wouldn't know if the product is good or bad. I ordered a camera memory card midweek for Friday delivery. It arrived Monday the day AFTER I left for my honeymoon. I wasn't able to send this without a star rating. No delivery = No stars.

The memory card is great. Even the most technologically-challenged was able to purchase, install, and use with no difficulty at all. The card purchase went very smoothly and arrived very quickly. It is a necessity with the Olympus camera.
Why do they have to keep changing the media?.......2007-08-23
I guess when digital cameras came out no one envisioned resolutions as large as they are today so the media just weren't up to the task but it is a bit annoying that every time you upgrade your equipment you must upgrade your storage media.
I chose the 1GB because two 1 gigs still cost less than one 2 gig. Better to lose half your data than all of it. I still alternate the media so if one were to fail I still have a backup.
So far the media work well and there have been no glitches.

What can I say? It's a memory card, it works, it has plenty of memory. I don't think I need a 2 GB card. I recommend it.

Tried using this on vacation in my Olympus camera for panoramics not sure if it was the card, the OS, the camera or the software but before I could get the photos off the card they would get corrupted and be gone forever. Still think it's great for regular photos though.

Super product. Can take over 500 7megapixel photos with this one, PLUS you need this H highspeed card to use the movie/motion picture feature of some the Olympus Stylus camera, and the M card will not allow movies to be taken.

This product is faster then the M card when it comes to writing to the card. The M cards were incredibly slow, sometimes taking several seconds. This card was much faster. This also adds a panoramic feature that I have yet to use. Still, a good product, this is reall the old card you should get if you have an Olympus camera requiring an xD card.

Very cool. This is a 1 gig and very thin. Has enough room on the card to do all of your camera needs. All so will take several minutes of video, plus take a load of pictures as well. With this card you get added features you would not normally get with other cards. Features include: 3D effect, panorama, and art. This is by far a great card for the money.

I didn't realize there were different formats, I found my D-395 only works with the standard xd cards, not "M" or "H" format.
Was able to return to Amazon and will order the proper model. Amazon's return process is very easy to use. Amazon is always my first choice for online purchases.

I have been struggling with the constraints of memory of smaller size. This size of memory and speed is amazing. The price is also very reasonable.
