This item arrived in good time to the address in the US and then a friend's daughter brought it for me to where I live overseas. Somehow she mixed up the cards (as she brought for a few people) and gave me the wrong one. I wrote to the company to say that they had made the mistake. Within 2 hours on a SUNDAY I got a reply to say they hadn't made a mistake according to their records and that it was probably my friend (which it was as it turned out!).
The fact that they were very quick and also that they weren't upset at all, just trying to be helpful made me very grateful to them!! And I was very very impressed, so I want to give them a great review as they deserve it.
The product itself works just great and is exactly what we wanted at a great price!

Great Little Expansion for your Phone.......2007-07-30
I bought the M2 Memory Stick to be used for my Sony Ericsson phone - a fine little phone, but limited in what you could do with it given its basic memory. The M2 changed that. Now I can use my phone with wanton abandonment: snapping photos of the silliest things (like a dead squirrel I found in the park), load whatever music I want onto my phone without fear of there not being enough space and whatever other function that may catch my fancy. The M2 comes with a lovely adapter that allows you to slot it into any Memory Stick PRO Duo outlet you may have, so that you could swap files around with even more impunity.
The bottom line is that it is, at the end of a day, a memory storage device. It works well, and it priced decently if you really must have a Memory Stick PRO Duo adapter. Especially considering you are getting a whopping 2GB of memory in this incongruously small package. I give it two thumbs and four toes waaaay up.
The only reason this didn't get a full five stars from me was because the seller, JoWow, mistakenly sent the wrong order to me. I had to send the package back and wait for them to clear up the mistake before I could enjoy my purchase. It marred my buying experience somewhat and I think it is only fair that it be mentioned so that future buyers know what they are getting into. It's likely that I am part of a minority that received the wrong package but again, you have been warned.
But like I said, for the price and the features, you really cannot beat this purchase.

I got this memory card for my psp when it was $80. Now it's only $30 which is a GREAT bargain. I don't even use it though cause I keep my music and videos on my iPod. But it's good for those who don't have a iPod or who have homebrew still.
Not 512 MB?.......2006-04-01
For any who are confused about the fact that even though it is a 512 MB Memory Stick, but it says that it only has 470 MBish, that's because of the way companies use the term, "megabyte". The company making the stick considers a megabyte to be 1000 kilobytes, which are each 1000 bytes, so a megabyte is 1,000,000 megabytes. Thus, the capacity of the stick is 520,000,000 MBs. However, the PSP, and all other devices, consider 1MB=1024KB=1048576 bytes. So the 520,000,000 byte capacity of the stick is considered by the PSP to be just under 596 MBs. The rest of the space taken up is by stuff needed to make it work, but it's not ALL that, just "formatting". (Yes, the companies rip you off, deal with it)

Okay, this is a great memory stick. Since I used it for the psp I'll review it on that. If the 32, 132, or 256 mb memory sticks just aren't enough space for you, and you don't want to spend the extra cash on the 1 gig, then I suggest this one. Whatever people say, this works the same as the Sony brand. Plus, you're not going to spend 80 dollars like on the Sony one (which is rediculous). I actually think it's a little bit faster in transferring and loading on the psp. And for only 40 bucks on this site, how could you go wrong with it? Even if when you put this in the psp it's a little less than 512 mb, it has enough space. This can store plenty of mp3s, game saves, game cheats, video, homebrew, and photos. Don't listen to the people that say Sony is better. There's no difference in the performance of the two companies (Sony and SanDisk).
To the kid that didn't know how to put tv shows on his psp, I'll try to explain it my best. Whether you have them on dvd or are downloading them, they need to be mp4s. You can download numerous video converters to make video files mp4s. Just search google for 3GP Converter. You should find a decent one there. After making your video an mp4, you have to transfer it to the psp. After reformatting a psp (just go to the menu on psp and find "format memory stick") you connect your psp to the computer. Go to the disk that it's named as in "My Computer". You'll see that there is no video section but something called MP_ROOT. Open that and you'll see the folders 100ANV01 and 100MNV01. Open 100MNV01 and put you're mp4 of the tv show in there. Turn on your psp, go to video, and you're show will be right there.
