Just as some other reviews have reflected, these lens are good for the money, but not professional quality. I find that at the top zoom setting, they can be a little blurry and/or washed out. And not suited for action shots. But I've gotten some good pictures and do not regret my purchase. Someday I will buy a top-quality tele lens.

Its not too bad. Its pretty good for beginners or hobby people. Whaterver, you will sure need a tripod to take shots @ 300mm. Otherwise, the lens is built nice, and does take some good images. As earlier commented, all PRO's do use Photoshop or other softwares to tweak images. Out of 10, 1 or 2 images turn blurry becaue of shake, the rest are fine & sharp.

Digital Rebel XTi, good choice.......2007-04-01
I've been using my XTi for a week, and so far so good ( perhaps i shoud say excellent). Both Sigma lenses are good choices, and gives a a wide variety of options. The included battery charges very fast. About the 53" Deluxe Camera Tripod, i must say it's a low quality one, specially due its plastic assembly in some parts.
Beside that, all the electronic equipment is pretty good.
bad start - good finish.......2007-03-23
the first camera I received had a problem with pixelation - all the pictures I took had grids of red and blue dots throughout the pictures. The seller told me to call the manufacturer; the manufcturer told me to return the camera to the seller; I did and promptly they sent me a replacement camera that has worked well. my son had recently bought another Canon camera and had exactly the same problem - makes you wonder about the inspection process. But the camera works well and is very easy to learn to use. The battery recharges very quickly

This camera can be very user friendly! The built-in menu selections are very easy to apply and/or change with the photo conditions. Quick changes for changing conditions allows for getting your shot while you can.

The Sigma 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 DC OS (Optical Stabilizer) Lens offers an "all-in-one" super-zoom lens solution, from wide-angle to long telephoto. It provides the equivalent focal range of approx. 27-300mm when used with a digital SLR camera. This lens has now been updated with the OS (Optical Stabilizer) system, which minimizes image blur caused by camera shake, and offers the equivalent of shooting at a shutter speed 2-3 stops faster. Great Lenses.......2006-12-31
Well I got this set for under $200, so it went up a little, but that's okay, it's still a good deal. These lenses really act as my main lenses when I am out shooting, and have not had a problem with them at all. The AF is fast and quiet, the build quality is soild (have dropped them on grass, no damage), and the photo quality is excellent. They are made for digital SLRs, so it's a great fit with the EOS 300D, 350D, 400D, 30D, and 20D. They aren't great for full frame dSLRs, like the 5D, but if you own one, you probably already know that.
But of course there is more here than lenses. The little cleaning cloth keychain is amazing. It's such a simple little product that I couldn't live without now. I just clip it on to my photo bag and go. You just pull out the cloth, which is attached to the bag, and clean the lens, and then stuff it back in. Great stuff. The bag is nice, but it's not great. I don't use it at all, and I wouldn't reccomend it as you main bag, but it's a god storage bag or back up.
So to conclude, this is a great deal for great lenses and I highly reccomend them.
