Ordered this item after see all the 5-star ratings by other Amazonians. Pleased to rate the same. The handsome clamshell case opens with a flick of a knice blade or tip of a screwdriver. As others have noted, excellent exhaustion of heat via the great fan. Took about 30 seconds to to connect my SATA HDD to the internal connector, seat the drive and snap the shell close. Connected to the USB port on my laptop. Configures as easily as a flash drive. Is supplied also with Apricorn's excellent disaster recovery software. This item is a great great dollar value. Pleasure to recommend it.

Hard Drive Enclosure.......2007-04-12

Great item which is well designed and stylish at the same time. The oversize fan runs very quietly and allows air to circulate around the drive keeping it cool. This enclosure provides an e-SATA and USB out after you install your 3.5" SATA hard drive. There is a front mounted on/off switch along with a power/activity LED. Apricorn also makes an external case for your 3.5" ATA drive that has the same front configuration but with two firewire and one USB out (I have this one as well). Does the job well.......2007-02-07

The best drive kit I have used (of 4 or 5). Seems better constructed than the other units. The best features is the cooling fan, which keeps the internal drive at a reasonable temperature. Most other units overheat the drive, especially when transferring large amounts of data.

Fast, works well, does what it's supposed to do. The fan is quiet enough not to be annoying.

The only negative is the ESATA limitation that it cannot be connected or disconnected when the computer is powered up. This is pretty unhandy, so I tend to use USB connection more than I had intended

Buy on Amazon not Zipzoomfly.......2006-12-30

Ordered one from Zipzoomfly, paid for 2 day delivery, they charged my credit card. Two days later another item I ordered arrived. Not the hard drive. Called zipzoomfly. Zipzoomfly informs me that they didn't have it in stock even though Zipzoomfly's web site shows it stock. When asked why Zipzoomfly didn't let me know it wasn't in stock or why Zipzoomfly didn't let me know they were only shipping one of the two items I paid for and Zipzoomfly's email said was shipping, Zipzoomfly responded they would have notified me later. Really? Like I wouldn't have figured out Zipzoomfly didn't send it when the package arrived. Zipzoomfly used to provide good service. Not anymore. Plus when I searched the web today, one three different shopping sites, Zipzoomfly is still advertising they have them in stock. Stay away from Zipzoomfly.

Great Printer as great savings.......2002-05-03

I researched these printers so well compared to the HP 4050N line of printers, they are about the same speed, feature a duplexer which is [money]add-on the the HP line and are great printers. Being in the Navy, My command generates lots of documents and needed replacements for our worn out HP 5L & 6L's which wear out and need repairs in about a year. These printer are durable and the toner is long lasting. I liked them so well I even purchased one of these myself for my home network.
The only problem I've seen is they use older 72 pin memory to upgrade the printer memory which is now more expensive than the newer 168 pin DIMMS.

Kodak Easy.......2007-05-15

This camera takes nice pictures and has a lot of features. The additional package items such as lenses, tripod, case, etc. are nice, too, as it's kind of difficult as a novice to pick and choose auxillary items for a camera, once you've already purchased it, to make sure they will fit and work on the camera. Camera seems a little slow manuevering between functions and between photos it takes a long time to "reload". Camera is light, but has a good size to hold onto to take steadier pictures.
