Works but almost impossible to cable.......2004-08-26

Functionally it works fine, but for some brain damaged reason
the designers made the two video inputs be HD15 male instead of
HD15 female like they should be. This means the standard SVGA
male to male cable you already have with your computer won't
work! You can buy an SVGA extension cable ($40 for a 6ft cable)
that is male to female, but remember you will need one for each
input, so you have already paid more than for the switch! Worse,
the extension cables come with the two protruding nuts on the
female end, but the box has two protruding nuts on the male input
so you will need to 'modify' your extension cable by hack-sawing
off the nuts, which means there is no way to screw the conectors
in. All and all a HORRIBLE design, and I don't recommend anyone
buy it. I sure wish someone else made a competeing product with
the right gender connectors, but I can't seem to find one.

Performs exactly as advertised; automatically switches flawlessly between two VGA signals. I use it on my monitor that has a VGA input for my computer and Xbox 360. Very solid construction, super easy to set up. Note that this is not a KVM switch but rather an automatic video switch like an automatic s-video switch from Radio Shack; it detects new signals and switches over to them; there is no manual control.

The audio support is great; it has two audio inputs and one audio output that correspond to the VGA ports; many other VGA switches do not have this feature, and audio support makes it great for say, two video game consoles which both use VGA (although you may need an audio adapter or two because the audio ports are 3.5mm jacks instead of optical or RCA-type).

The price is steep for what little it does, but it does it well. I went for this product, which is more industrial, over similar, more consumer-catered products because I wanted it to work perfectly (and for the audio support). I was not disappointed. The only downsides are it requires power from its included adapter which takes up an outlet, and it has an LED which cannot be turned off. But these are minor gripes. If you need an automatic VGA switch with audio, I would recommend this one over any other. Since very few people really need such a thing, that doesn't say much. But if you are reading this, you probably do need one, so give the product a shot.

poor service and poor quality.......2004-09-17

Buyer beware must be Pacific Digital's mantra. The USB 2.0 dvd burner I bought from them died in under six months. The burner, a lite-on, was fine it was their enclosure that failed. Their customer service was horrendous as was the shipping that I was forced to pay to receive replacement parts, which still have not arrived. If you are looking for a product that will give you reliable service and lasting performance STAY AWAY from pacific digital!!!!

I bought this camera a couple of months ago. By the recomendations of my brother. The features are very good. expecally the night mode. With the help of a tripode. I could get 27exp from a 24exp roll of film,with the easy load system. This is one of the best point and shot cameras that I have.

I GOT THIS CAMERA FOR VALINTINES DAY THIS YEAR, WE WENT SEVERAL PLACES AND USED IT, INCLUDING SEA WORLD. I NOW HAVE GREAT PICTURES OF THE KILLER WHALE SHOW,AMOUND OTHERS, EVEN THOUGH I WAS SITTING IN IN ONE OF THE HIGHEST BLEACHERS THERE. I bought this camera for a vacation trip and was extremely happy with the results. All the pictures came out beautifully. The easy load option is a big help.

Ok, but not a great zoom camera.......2002-02-02

I bought this camera, since I trusted the Kodak name and did not want an APS camera, since it seems about all they make now days. I used about 5 rolls of film. Some pictures came out great and others came out with a blue tint to them. Not sure why. I decided to take this camera back and upgrade to a higher zoom. If you have small kids and want to capture those great moments, I don't recommend this camera. Sorry Kodak. Maybe if you made it in a higher zoom range.

Great MP3 Player.......2006-03-09

I like this unit very much. After my IRiver was stolen, I looked around for a replacement.

The unit is easy to use and comes with everything. The software is a bit unwieldy though. At first I had a split screen to rip songs and see what is on the player itself, but that went away and I don't feel like reinstalling to bring it back. Then you have to go to Windows Media Player (I use 9) to transfer the music over to the device.

I've gone to a another CD ripper and just drag the files over. Much faster and much easier.

I'm a runner and the screen is bright and clear. I like being able to lock the controls as they tend to get pushed when I run if I don't lock them.

The sound is really great with the ear buds and even better even using a cheap headset.

I bought a wireless transmitter (GE) to use in my car but you have to really crank the volume up to get anything out if it. I think this may be more a function of the transmitter.

Everything else about the unit is great. Samsung did a very nice job with this player and FM tuner.

I am a very satisfied user.

Excelent Sound, Great Desing.......2006-01-14

I own a iBook G4, and copying songs from iTunes to this device was easy. I'm a ver exigent quality sound person and at first sight I was wanting t to buy an iPod Nano, but was very expensive for me. One Friend of mine toll me that this Samsung was very very good enough for his daugther so I gave it a chance, and I'm impressed!!

The only think that I had to do was update it's firmware (Downloades form Samsung's support page), but that was very very easy. Why? I like see Spanish menus on my devices and with it's original firmware (V.1.1) has problems, but with new one (V. 2.1) was working like a charm.

I reallu recomend this product!!! Great work Samsung Group!

P.D. If you want more great sound avoiding external sound, buy an earpad pair and put it over the the earpad that comes with this device!

Great Digital Audio Player (A Must Have).......2005-05-21

The Samsung YP-MT6V 256 MB is a perfect easy to use music player. The things that I like the most about it are its perfect compact size, and great stylish look. Also, whenever you are not around a computer, you can just hook it up to a cd player, or other music device that takes headphones and mp3 encode a song. It has a great sound and I think its much better than the same priced iPod Shuffle. Mainly because it can record voice, FM radio, you can record straight of a cd player, and you can see what you are listening to, unlike the no screen shuffle. The only disadvantage of the 256 mb player is the fact that it only holds 256 mb.

Great little mp3/ogg player.......2005-05-06

The Samsung YP-MT6V 256 MB digital audio player is a superb mp3 player. It is able to play all types of codecs including ogg which was the big seller for me. It also has a root directory meaning all you have to do is copy your digital files directly to the player using windows explorer. You do not need to use some fancy program that complicates the process even more. The one "AA" battery is said to last up to 42 hours, and with the quality of sound and performance of this little gem that is remarkable. It also has an FM transmitter and a voice recorder. The factory headphones produce great sound, so overall this is a heck of a player. Easy to use, and a true digital media player. Highly recommended

Monster Cable MV3F-2M NF - They pay for themselves!.......2004-02-27

Several recent upgrades and additions to my home audio and video systems necessitated several new cables. Part of those additions/upgrades is a Sony 36 inch television that, with the existing two way splitter and coaxial cables, just wasn't producing the picture it should have. This was when I made the decision to explore Monster Cables coaxial cables and two-way splitter. Using this particular "model" of coaxial cable in conjunction with Monster Cables SV1F-1M NF coaxial cables and their TGHZ-2RF two-way splitter made quite a distinct difference in the picture produced on the new Sony television, bringing out a glorious picture.

In short, if you're in need of new audio/video cables but were worried about the slightly higher costs associated with Monster Cables products don't, they're well worth it. I highly recommend this product or any other such product from Monster Cable company. {ssintrepid}
