Not bad.......2006-07-29

Great price but the changing channels on the remote control seems slow. Also the remote control strength seems to be very weak even after I changed the batteries. Also the uasability of changing channels is not great. I am using this in the kitchen and it does the job it is also nice to have the built in DVD player so I get to have a DVD player in my kitchen with out taking up more counter space. Also sometime the TV does not work and needs to be "rebooted" unplugged from the outlet.

Bottom line is it is a good choice if you don't mind the inconviences and don't want to spend alot of money otherwise I would not recommend it.

Fine product.......2006-04-02

After 6 months of using this product I still enjoy the look of it and the quality of image, as well as the possibility of watching dvd, vcd, cable and antenna tv, and even listening to cds on it. It's true that the sound quality and volume are not great, but for a bedroom or kitchen tv the product does just fine. The remote isn't bad at all, lots of functions, settings angles, zoom, etc, all is there, in a card like format, light and it even comes with colors to help identify functions. I have played many dvd formats, including computer burnt stuff, most of them work here, which is a plus for this unit. Overall I'm happy with the product.

Buyer beware!.......2006-01-17

Thought I got a great deal on this unit for under $300 brand new at a local electronics-chain store. Setup the unit, everything seemed fine after a DVD test drive. I got the cable run and the TV quality was poor, but it was expected for this no frills system. Connected a set of headphones into the headphone jack and that was the end of it. No sound at all (either headphone or built-in speakers). The remote is also terrible...no range and you must be directly in front of the unit for it to respond. Audiovox support is of no help.

If you are looking for hdtv quality, forget about this one! Can pick up the signal with a cable box, then shrinks the picture. No expandable screen feature. Lacks useful features to compensate. Picture quality is decent in digital tv mode. Unit is compact. Good enough for a small computer monitor with adapter cable included. Thats about it.Also must use 1/4 in. stereo phono plug in HD mode to hear sound.

Definitely a great purchase.......2005-08-09

I bought this at a retail location, was told it was an 'entry level' LCD and was the lowest priced 15" w/HDTV compatibility. I did not notice any significant differences in the picture quality or features from any of the other similar brands also on display.

I have it for about a month already, the picture quality is sharp, it was easy to set up for HD reception on DirecTV, and I am a happy camper. This set is definitely a great value and a giant leap ahead of the tube TV it replaced.

It also has a 12 month parts and labor warranty, as best as I can remember all of the other name brands came with only a 90 day warranty. Recommended with NO reservations.

Perfect Second or Third Camera.... Awesome Image Quality.......2005-09-08

Nikon Coolpix 3200 is one of the Best Compact "pocket" cameras you can buy. The image quality rivals that of my 7 MP Sony V3. The power of Nikon Glass Lens. Plus, it uses 2 "AA" Batteries AND you can even use the very convenient and long-lasting CR-V3 battery. The menu is one of the best I have ever used - everything is exactly where you expect it to be! You don't need to read the manual - it's pretty much self-explanatory (unlike my Sony V3). The only reason why I did not give it 5-stars is because of the 3-4 second delay between shots using Flash. However, it is Fast taking Outdoor Shots which is what I mainly use it for. If this is going to be your Primary Camera AND you take A LOT of Indoor Shots (or have a speedy toddler), you should probably not buy it as you might become frustrated by the shutter delay. Unfortunately, ALL of the Nikon Coolpix Cameras suffer from this "handicap". But if you can be a bit patient, then you will be rewarded with Beautiful, Stunning Pictures that Rivals Cameras with 5,6,7 MPs at one-third the cost! This is why I think this would make the IDEAL Second or in my case, Third Camera (I'm a camera addict).

Not bad for 3.2 MP.......2005-08-20

Ok, I regret purchasing this camera and really wish I would have gotten one with more megapix capability. As it stands it is very easy to use. The size is perfect for me when I travel. I like that it takes AA batteries instead of being rechargeable. Also the SD chip is great, I wish everyone would use that standard memory device. The pictures turn out ok if you us the highest resolution settings. My 4x6 turn out great. I have only had one set larger than that and they looked ok but just a touch grainy.

Gets worse with use.......2007-01-12

This DVD player started out great, but over time it started failing at the same points on multiple DVDs. The DVDs work in every other player I have. Now the places it fails are expanding and it is beginning to refuse to read some DVDs at all. I liked all the features and didn't really mind the slow response time, but this is just a poor example of a DVD player.

Absolutely Horrible.......2005-11-13

I'll just add my woes to the long list. Same problems as others have seen -- slow opening or sticking drawer, disc errors on discs that much older cheaper players will play, erratic performance. Problems started after a few months. Should have taken it back then. I have the same Onkyo receiver as one of the previous reviewers, and I've also had outstanding performance from it, but I will NEVER again purchase an Onkyo DVD player. Heading to the store right now for a replacement.

Junk.......2004-11-08

The first one failed, didn't read DVDs and would not eject. I sent it back in under warranty and the replacement did the same thing. What a junker. I've had all kinds of Onkyo equipment in the past and it was all top quality. Not this piece.

Wow! I wish these reviews existed when I bought mine! Same problems: It was always slow; It stopped reading discs after 10 months (under warranty had it fixed at a local shop within a week); Now it will not eject, and of coarse it is out of warranty!

You can add my name to the list of "victims" on this product! I also bought this DVD Player 18 months ago as part of a Home Theater system which included the Onkyo TX SR600 Receiver/Amp and the fantastic Bose Acoustamass 15 speakers. No complaints on the receiver or speakers, but the DVD player started acting up after 12 months and has now just quit altogether. It lights up but can't get the drawer to open. I found all of these negative reviews while researching a replacement, which I guarantee will NOT be another Onkyo.
