Aspect ratio: The aspect ratio refers to the shape of the video image. Traditional television has a 4:3 aspect ratio, which is almost square in appearance. Digital television has either a 4:3 or 16:9 aspect ratio. A 16:9 aspect ratio is widescreen and appears rectangular, which looks more like a movie screen, filling more of the viewer's field of vision for a more lifelike viewing experience.

I purchased a FPE3000 Audiovox tv and the ac power is a box separate from the tv. The fans have gone bad and I have been trying for 6 months to order them or buy a new power box. A $2,000 TV THAT I CAN NOT WATCH.

AUDIOVOX WILL NOT HELP YOU, THEY SEND YOU OFF ON THE WILD GOOSE CHASE OF YOUR LIFE. I HAVE FOLLOWED THEIR INSTRUCTIONS OF WHO TO CALL, LEFT EMAIL AND NEVER A RESPONSE. Problems With White Screens: Not Recommended.......2006-02-28

My father bought this TV at Sam's Club and has had trouble with it from the beginning.

Whenever the screen has too much white space, the TV will blank out and go into a blue screen. Sometimes it returns to the program after a couple of seconds, sometimes it doesn't. You can imagine the trouble this caused during the winter Olympic games. It will blank out as often as every 20 seconds, and doesn't stop.

My father took it to the warranty service, and they gave him a new television. He hooked it up to our Comcast Digital Cable and... it did it again. Either the warranty office scammed him, or 2 out of 2 televisions had this problem.

This might be a compatibility problem with our particular cable company, or it could be the TV itself. We don't know. But we certainly would not recommend this television to anyone.

Terrific Value.......2005-03-17

This TV is a great value. It has inputs for everthing, but only two sets of audio inputs, one for regular tv and one for HDTV. I bought a Radio Shack automatic audio switch for under $50 which works great with this TV. I am 100% satisfied, have had it for about two months now. I bought it at BJs for $1,395. One of the best things is that it comes with a wall mount, which I used.

My wife and I saw the Audiovox FPE3000 in a Sam's Club just before Christmas. It was selling for $1,299, far less than on Amazon and anywhere else we looked. We decided to buy it on the spot.

We have been very very pleased with performance and quality of the picture on this LCD TV. We added HDTV to our cable service after getting the TV, and it's an absolute treat to watch HD programming on this screen.

And well-produced DVDs look more brilliant than they ever could on a standard television.

All in all, we think it's well worth the money we paid.

About Surveillance Camera Technical Features
Lux rating is the measurement used to indicate how sensitive a camera is to light, and stands for the level of light reflected off a piece of paper by a candle from one meter away. Thus a sensitivity of three Lux would mean a camera could generate an acceptable picture of a piece-of-paper-sized object that was illuminated by the equivalent of three candles from one meter away. The breathtaking 17-inch viewable area of the Xerox XG-71D monitor is bordered by a black frame with the control buttons embedded in a narrow chrome strip along the bottom. Everything is mounted on a futuristic chrome pedestal. The display tips 25 degrees so that users of different heights can find the perfect viewing angle.

Covering the entire screen is a sheet of tempered glass, protecting the fragile LCD panel from pokes, prods and corrosive fingerprints. A sapphire-blue LED tells you when the power is on (steadily lit) or saving energy (flashing).

Connected to a Mac mini through the DVI input, the 1280x1024 workspace provides plenty of room without shrinking the Mac OS X Dock. In DVI mode, every pixel on the display is directly controlled by a specific memory location on the graphics card. The result is screen resolution so fine, you can edit full pages of text in Microsoft Word 2004:Mac even though the display panel doesn't rotate from landscape to portrait.

Nice Monitor.......2004-10-09

My ancient monitor crossed over to the ebon view so I needed a new one. I wanted a LCD but knew I had the most distructive kitten known to mankind. This monitor has a glass panel over the LCD so its tough enough for paw prints (which it does have currently.) Plus I like being able to touch and dust my screen (call me old fashioned.) The image itself is clean and crisp with very nice contrast and colours. The design is fluid and the buttons are ergonimically incorporated into the screen so they are nearly invisable. The screen tilts up and down but not easily so it wont fall back to its originally position or move if bumped. No complaints so far.

Not the most elegant solution, but it does the job.......2002-11-27

I've never found Zip drives to be very speedy, despite the name, but this particular drive is quite slow and quite loud.

However, in its defense, it is extremely reliable even though I've dropped it and knocked it over several times. It doesn't take up much space on my desk. It is so lightweight and flat that I can throw it in the pocket of my laptop case and take it anywhere.

The Zip disk has been a good solution for me in terms of sharing files between my desktop and laptop, and this drive is an adequate, reliable, affordable way to do that.

Perfect except for support.......2001-05-25

I have had my zip drive for a while now. I purchased the external type so I could swap it between my laptop and desktop. I use it to backup data along with having the capability to read disks that are sent to me by clients and workmates.

So far I have not had any major problems I could not work out with the zip drive. The one drawback I have found is that Iomega's Web site is not very clear at times.

Otherwise for me on both a Windows 98 and 2000 system it has been simple plug and play!
