The 4000/260 features 10 pages of memory and function-key programming for each MScreen session. Actually, the Sangean DT200VX exceeded my wife's and my expectations for such a small radio. It has better AM reception than the Sangean DT220 that it is replacing and is very easy to operate as a bedtime radio. With it's lighted display and the MY button that allows you to select the stations that you programmed (in my wife's case: AM, FM, and local TV), it's easy to use in the dark. Excellent battery life as well. Very pleased with this radio and I'm considering a second for me!

I have had many radios but this one is the best! I listen to the radio at night a lot to help me sleep. Due to chronic back pain I either listen to the radio or have to take pain pills and I much prefer the radio to the pills. This little radio has a ton a nice features that fit my needs exactly. It gets good reception, has a feature that allows you to program in your favorite stations even though they may be on different frequency bands and also has a great, auto-off in 90 minutes feature that I love. I plug it into a pillow speaker and it really works great! I'd buy another on in a heartbeat!

Outstanding little radio.......2007-08-23

We have two of these radios and enjoy them very much. We live in a rural area where most radio reception is difficult to receive. It's amazing how it pulls in the signals. Two AA batteries work over a long time. I'd highly recommend the Sangean DT200VX.

DT200VX.......2007-08-05

I live in an urban area and I like to listen to AM radio at night. I have listened to a lot of radios and they all have the same shortcoming, namely after sunset when station power is cut the signal fades in and out. When I got the DT200VX, the first thing I did was to tune to those stations I hadn't been able to get at night. The reception was amazing! Stations I couldn't get before now came in loud and clear with no fading. I live in Round Rock, TX (near Austin) and I picked up stations in Denver, Chicago, Dallas, New Orleans, Tulsa, etc.

Then I tuned to my favorite local station on the low end of the band and I heard a loud almost Morse code like interference. When I turned the radio, it went away. I then went to a high frequency and the same thing occurred.

I don't know if it was the radio or some local interference, but I couldn't use it like that. It also had poor fit of the cover on one side and the headphone jack didn't work unless you didn't push the plug all the way in.

I was disappointed, but the AM reception was outstanding. I returned it and I bought the DT-180V, which doesn't have a speaker and I don't use one anyway.

The radio is terrific. Sound is excellent with the headphones. I had an earlier version is this one is a big improvemnet over a pretty good product. The station set memory is maintained when the batteries are changed, for example.
