IDE Hard drive adaptor.......2007-02-12

If you have hard drive to test or check contents of, this is the easiest way to do it. A single usb connection and connecting the external power adaptor (included) spins most drives right up and you can check contents, etc. through "My Computer - external devices. Works every time.. except of course when the drive being tested is defective - which is usually what you are trying to find out in the first place.

Great for Windows or Mac.......2006-07-17

Great product! I recently switched to a laptop and purchased this adapter to regain use of my desktop hard drive.

The adapter worked perfectly under Windows XP and Mac OSX with no installation needed. In both environments the hard drive appeared plug-and-play as just another HDD attached -- just as if I plugged in a USB memory stick.

I purchased this particular USB-IDE adapter because it has the USB hi-speed logo, CE, and FCC certifications.

Life saver.......2005-08-15

The adapter 30500 has allowed our IT department to salvage data, and repair hard drives saving us $1,200 in the first week alone. We would have had to use a forensic data recovery service if we had not been able to use the adapter. We are now using it as our standard data porting method for rebuilding hard drives and porting data to new computers. We purchased an additional plug that allows us to interface with laptop hard drives as well.

I received this monitor from my sons for Christmas. The picture quality is awesome. It's great having a full vision screen. If you adjust it properly, the quality is lifelike and the colors are bright and vivid. I highly recommend it.

Even though the manufacturer, a chemical company based in South korea, claims 28mm dog pitch, it's very blurry. The colours are washed out, and the contrast is poor... For better price, go with Kogi...

Nice compact drive.......2007-01-04

This drive is nice and small and supports computers with either 1.1 or 2.0 USB connections. It also has a connector for a plug-in power supply because some older 1.1 USB computers do not output enough power for the drive. Other portable drives do not feature this. Mine also included a free carry bag.
