Canon Ink for Canon i9900 photo printer.......2007-09-13

The Canon i9900 employs eight (8) cartridges. For several years I purchased the Canon 8-pack of refills. The eight separate colors seem to run out in even succession--except for the red and green--I have several new cartridges in my drawer. The six-pack does not include the red and green. Perfect! By the way, the Canon i9900 has been flawless for the several years I've owned it. And the photo color and clarity continues to amaze everyone. This may have something to do with the fact that I have never used any ink but the genuine Canon ink. You're money ahead to buy this 6-pack rather than get hit for $12 to $14 each down at your super-office-supplies store.

I suggest to everyone who owns a printer, to buy genuine brand ink. STAY AWAY from generic inks. I learned the hard way that they are just crap. Since I own a Canon Photo printer, I will ALWAYS buy Canon ink from now on. And Amazon is cheaper than every place else.

No problems, as yet........2007-06-02

I was suspicious about using a generic ink cartridge in my Canon Pixma iP6000D printer. However, due to Canon's ridiculous price for replacement refills, I swallowed enough suspicion to try the generic. Except for the exterior labeling, the cartridge and it's installation were exactly the same as Canon's expensive cartridge. The printer seems to perform nicely. I don't know what the future holds (do we ever, really?), but I do know that I am definitely saving a bunch of money now on refills.

Poor order that got worse!.......2007-01-10

I needed three of the cartridges and would someday need the rest so I decided to buy efficiently. The deal was free shipping with any order over $50. Little did I know that the order did not qualify for shipping on the one touch order or whatever it is called. It turns out this wasn't free shipping. The order which was a marginal savings to begin with became a real loser for me. Amazon said sorry and threw in $5 to offset part of the shipping. The actual shipper who I contacted couldn't stop the order because they had already filled it and although it hadn't shipped they couldn't stop it. I sent it all back. In the future I will really read the fine print on all of Amazon's disclaimers.

6 pack of ink from Eforcity for my Canon i960.......2007-04-04

I gave up on printing photo's from my own printer because it was so much cheaper to just go to Costco with a memory card and print on their "2million" dollar machine.
I now use my printer for various research printing and document printing so I'm more interested in cheap get the job done ink. This 6pack does the job and ship super fast to me.

The DVDQ35AT also performs 3:2 pulldown. A set of left-right analog-audio outputs channel audio to Dolby Pro Logic receivers and stereo televisions. Both Dolby Digital and DTS 5.1-channel surround-sound signals can be routed through the player's digital-audio outputs (one each of RCA coaxial and Toslink optical) for direct connection to a full-featured audio-video receiver. The picture quality on this is as good as any other DVD player I have seen. I have had it for a year and have watched a lot of DVDs, and there was only one DVD it had a problem reading, and it was only because that DVD (a rental) had some deep scratches on it.

Low quality equipment.......2004-03-06

I am extremely disappointed with this Progressive-Scan DVD player.
I am writing this to keep anyone from making the same mistake I
made being lured into the low price.

When watching DVDs, about 1 in 2 of the disks freeze in the middle
of watching. I've watched the same disks on other DVD players and
not had the problem. Frequently, I'll have to go to another scene
to continue the move.

Besides that problem, I find the system menus slow and
cumbersome, and unintuitive. This is obviously a cheaply made
equipment with very little quality.

One of the best Value for Money DVD players around.......2003-12-22

Frankly all of us when spending on something look for the best value that money can buy, especially Electronics and Cars!! It is this space that Philips' DVD Q35 falls. It started out with a price tag around $200 but in the last months of 2003 it has been selling for about $80 (read Fry's). At this price it is one of the best DVD player that one can buy. First, it plays every format, except DVD-Audio, SACD. Second it can support both NTSC and PAL video formats (very very few players in US market have this feature). Third and most important, this player can be made region free to play DVDs from all over the world. Fourth but not the final, the Video and Audio quality is excellent almost at par with high end Denon, Onkyo systems. Has all sorts of connection possibilities. Don't even think twice. Just get it, you wont be disappointed.

Value for money.......2003-10-06

Its worth paying. Its nice, plays MP3s, JPEG and all DVDs that I have tried. I have tried PAL VCDs as well.
The negative side - MP3 menu is too thin.
It does not play or hangs with some DVDs, the other player I have also does the same. Whereas my laptop DVD player plays that.

Philips has a problem - now it's my problem.......2003-07-26

I purchased the Philips DVDQ35 from Amazon about a 2 months ago. It played photo CDs and regular CDs fine. The problems came when playing DVDs. On EVERY DVD I play, it starts skipping and freezing after about 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours into the movie. This even includes brand new DVDs fresh from the box. I called Philips and the said it sounded like a hardware problem to them. They shipped me a brand new unit - new serial and manufacture date. Guess what ... the new unit does the same thing - exactly. I searched the internet for "Philips DVD player skipping" and have since found out that there are a lot of people that have been junking their Philips DVD players for exactly the same reason - skipping and freezing during DVD playback. It seems Philips will gladly keep sending you new units with the same problem (YOU have to pay for the shipping back to them), but won't refund money or give you a comparable model that works. I guess instead of repeatedly sending back the players, I'll have to eat the loss and junk this one. No more Philips for me.
