Just Keeps on Ticking!.......2007-09-11

I have the Pixma ip1500 at work and at home. I have no problems with it ever! I am an appraiser and crank out appraisals all day long on it. It never fails me. The biggest plus is the ink cost is so reasonable. $7 for a black cartridge and $18 for color. I have found even better deals on auction sites for the genuine Canon ink. Can't go wrong with this printer!!!!

Prints sideways and squiggly. Couldnt fix it no matter what I did. Barely used it before it started messing up.

A Sorry Excuse For A Printer.......2006-12-07

Canon really laid an egg when they flew this turkey to the market. When you click on that print button, go have a cup of coffee, take a nap, watch TV for awhile. Your print job *may* have printed by the time you return, but probably not, because 1)the Pixma can't find the paper in the feed tray (it's there), 2)the colored ink tank is low (it's not), 3) the black ink tank is low (it wasn't) 4)the paper is jammed (how can it be, when Pixma can't find the paper in the tray?). Hit 'print' again, and it *might* eventually print your report, but more likely it won't because the ink tanks have dried up waiting for you to clear all the other errors. What a piece of junk! Absolutely positively the worst printer I have ever owned or used, bar none, and I've worked with many. There's a hundred different software utilities and options to figure out, none of them help with anything at all, and they just add to the level of frustration. Instead of giving us all this useless software, just give us a printer that prints, Canon!

Absolutely Positively the WORSE Printer I have ever owned. I have a feeling these other reviewers...no offense...havent owned and operated the printer long enough to make a valid appraisal. I have been using it (when it works) for 6 months and it sucks. I use it for trivial printing at this point...just to use up the ink ive invested in. After that....its in the trash. If anyone wants it...they can have it for the cost of shipping. I'll put it on amazons used sale list.

SEEMS TO WORK PRETTY GOOD.......2006-02-08

I bought this printer based on the reviews given below. I was trying to find a printer that was good quality and used lower cost ink cartridges. So it has been pretty good. I have used it since july of 2005 and it has performed well. Ink cartridges are much cheaper than my former HP photosmart printer p1000 i think that's what it was called. The only thing is i wished this printer had a paper exit tray. But anyway it has been very dependable and i like it. I would buy another one. gg

I have had this product for a little over a year now and it is terrible. I don't know if it's just a defective chip or anything, but it really got me mad. When i first got it the thing worked fine , but in the last couple of weeks it has been horrible. The signal strength has been either low or very low and i am constantly losing internet. I tried to call tech support once and it gave me some Indian guy that I couldn't really understand. Not only that, but all he did was tell me stuff i already knew like click repair on the connection in My Network Places and restart the computer. If they are all like this one that I have then I reccomend not getting this item.

Hard to install.......2006-05-16

I found out that the one thing you should not do is install the thing using the linksys setup. Instead (win xp)go to the 'add hardware' section, look for new hardware and install it using that driver in correspondance with the linksys one.

This product works great, provided you are astute enough to get it up and running on your wireless network. I have a Linksys Wireless Router which is essentially why I went with the Linksys Wireless PCI adapter. I figured it would ease integration. Well...I encountered a problem in which I couldn't get the adapter to talk to my router, even though I could see that the adapter was receiving a good signal from the router. So I called Linksys support...BIG mistake. They spend hours of my time walking me through a hundred steps that I knew wouldn't work because I already tried them, just to tell me that there is something wrong with my adapter and I should return it. What a load of crap!!! Eventually, I sat down and just reset all of my router settings and went through the inital setup steps for my router and got it working on my own. And now, it works like a charm. :)

best 20" tv for the money.......2002-12-12

I had built a tiki bar by my pool and bought this 20" to watch sports. However , it seemed too small for perfect viewing, so I bought a 27" Panasonic to put in the other corner. Watching NFL Ticket and having both tvs on, I have found the picture on the 20" is much sharper and more clear than the 27". Keep in mind, these tvs are exposed to the everchanging Florida weather and after 9 months, they both are working perfectly. I would highly recommend this product.

Great Set for the bedroom.......2000-10-19

I picked one of these up for my Mom for her bedroom. This is they second Panasonic set I've purchased. I like them for three reasons.

1st. These sets seem to be impervious to electrocmagnetic interference. I am a ham radio operator. Unlike most sets that have pictures that jump, or give off an audible click when they pick up radio noise. These sets don't. So, if you don't want problems from your neighbors two way radio's getting into your TV--Buy a Panasonic. They have obviously engineered these sets with this in mind. They are my preferred brand.

2nd: The picture. These sets have a great picture as good or better than any other set. The ultraflat Sony tubes are flatter, but this tube is plenty flat enough for me. I don't notice the curvature in either of the two Panasonics I own. I plan to buy a third one in the next few months.

3rd: The price. You can't beat Panasonic TV's for the money. I liked the Sony TV sets better, but they cost twice as much. I'd rather have two Panasonics than one Sony, or better yet, the money in my pocket.

The remote is small and simple yet does everything you need. The set features on screen programming, sleep timer.

A nice set at a nice price. Buy one and you won't regret it.

I bought this product online after reading its reviews on amazon.

And keep in mind that I bought this item on top of already having two starFire light guns, thinking I would get a better light gun.

And here's what I found out.

I hope it helps.

Here's my point : It's no better than Star Fire Light gun.

I bought 2 star fire light guns as a bundled auctioned item and thought they kind of sucked. They are not terrible but not great either. Since I thought I may be missing out from a better quality gameplay, I went out of my way to get another light gun online: mad catz dreamblaster.

Dreamblaster by Mad Catz:
-Aiming was much "worse" than Star Fire brand. Period.
-Auto Reload and Auto fire was much "better" than Star Fire.
-Trigger button was better in terms of working evertime I clicked it.(Star Fire trigger button did not fire at times and it was irregular on clicking when trigger button was pushed. This can be very bothersome although it can be easily fixed by playing with auto-fire function)

For me, aiming was the most important factor. Dreamblaster was much worse in aiming than StarFire even after careful calibration was performed.

But if aiming is not that important and better auto fire and auto reload performance is more important for you, dreamblaster may be a better choice.

To sum it up, I thought dreamblaster had better auto-reload, fire function and StarFire gun had better aiming.

If you like to play with better aiming experience, I would get star fire light gun.

However, if you prefer better auto-reload, fire function, I would get dreamblaster by mad catz.

Or sell your other junks in the garage, make some money, and get both brands for your peace of my as I did.

Enjoy playing dead but still more fun dreamcast games!

Madcatz dream blaster light gun and Starfire Light Blaster(I have them both ) they both worked GREAT . Just for me I thing Starfire light Blaster ez to handle than Madcatz light gun but Madcatz light gun have smaller size so my hand not getting tire when I play with the Madcatz ligh gun for hours . The most important for these Ligh gun is the Calibration . Thanksss TUANAPW for these Guns and thank for show me your way how to calibrate its.

this gun rocks, very precise, and full of great features.
some people have problems, it did have some on my friends tv, but I suggested, "hey, ever heard of windex?"
after a clean of the tv, it worked great.

I was just as satisfied and glad as the other reviewers who had purchased the dream blaster gun. It works very accurately and is very light and comfortable. It is also a rare item to find now that the product has discontinued its sale in stores and online. Im glad to have found it. It is the best light gun out there for the dreamcast. As mentioned in other review, there are other games out there instead of just House of the Dead 2 that use this gun. Theres also Virtua Cop 1 and 2.
