Good camera, clear pics, pretty easy to use.......2005-08-06

Overall I'm happy with this camera. I had to replace a point and shoot pentax. I'm pretty happy with the pics I get with this point and shoot. I've gotten a few blurry ones, that I may have moved. Unfortunately the price wasn't as good when I bought it. It has an optional remote control which I was used to on my pentax and the zoom is longer. Overall a good camera.

I was surprised to read all the negative reviews about the canon z155. My own experience with this camera has been basically positive. Since purchasing the camera 7 months ago, the majority of my prints have been sharp, clear, colors bright and true to life. The only drawback i can think of is the pictures do tend to blur when using full zoom without a tripod. I dont think this is specifically Canon's problem, though, because photography books all recommend using a tripod when using a high zoom. At 155mm, one needs a very steady hand or the pictures blur. When I do use a tripod, even my pictures at the highest zoom come out crystal clear. I'd recommend this camera anytime!

Inconsistent.......2004-01-25

Although my canon rebel SLR is incredible and we've had great canon's before, this one is very disappointing and inconsistent. I've had the same problems as others with blurry pictures and delays in taking photos after pushing the button. I'd recommend finding another camera or upgrading to a SLR from Canon (though pricey).

Great Camera - Fun Features - Excellent Pictures.......2003-12-30

Bought this camera in a pinch as our old one broke two days before Christmas. Didn't get a chance to read the reviews here first (and I'm glad I didn't or I probably would not have bought it!). I quickly snapped a roll of 24-exposure film to try the camera out and see if we wanted to keep it.

The pictures came out BEAUTIFULLY! I took some indoors, some out. Some with the fully automatic point-and-shoot, and expermimented with the potrait mode, sports action mode, and night mode. They all came out fantastically!

It's like having two cameras in one - a fully automatic no-brainer point and shoot as well as some features that allow you to be more creative and experimental with photography if you want to. Also a great zoom.

Canon must have corrected the issues that some of the eariler reviewers posted, because I did not experience any of these problems.

Worst camera ever.......2003-10-31

I am so glad after seeing the other reviews to know that I'm not crazy- this camera really is awful! The inconsistent quality of photos is dreadful, with many underlit and blurry for no clear reason. I love my other Cannon and wish they would stay away from making such supposedly "smart" cameras.

Oddly enough I'm a woman techy and enjoy this watch very much, although I wish they would make some more petite mpwatches. I have used this watch a few times at the gym and it's great.

My girlfriend got me this watch/mp3 player/file storage and so far it has been working really good.
but then again ive only had it for a few days but like i said, its been working good so far.
i do wish it had more storage space to hold more mp3 files but for 79. bux, its a great price, cant beat that.

I just received this battery two days ago, but so far it's awesome. Everyone on here mentions that you need to get a larger cover for the v.60 phone. I have AT&T and the battery fit right into my phone. It was the same size as the battery that came with the phone when I bought it 1.5 years ago. So, if you have ATT, don't sweat it. Also, I went to radio shack and saw a weaker battery for this phone on sale for almost 70 bucks...this is a ridiculous deal.

I'm not really sure how well the batteries work. I read the description & knew I wanted longer-lasting batteries for our phones. But these batteries require a battery cover that is deeper than the one that comes with the phone! So, the batteries don't fit unless you purchase the deeper cover elsewhere. Unless I missed it, this informtion was not provided in the description or technical details.
I went to a Verizon store & they sell the batteries complete with the required cover. Also, the cover can be ordered from Motorola.

The battery is great. The only way you can get six hours of talk time is to be in an extended battery life cellular area. In Seattle, that means being close to the corridor or downtown. If not, you'll be lucky to get 2 hours.

I am an ardent Panasonic fan. All of my home electronics bear its name. However, this stacker dvd changer really is not a good product at all. Rather, it is perhaps better to say that it is the inherent flaw in this type of technology. The changer works just like the car cd changers and unfortunately sounded like one too. It is noisy and it is slow. One might find this unit acceptable if random music player is not a concern. If it is, then beware at the slow speed which this unit switch from disc to disc and the unbearable amount of noise it makes.

You will be happier with a carousel type changer.

Being at college, I have had the advantage of being able to compare and contrast various DVD players across campus. I have had the Panasonic DVD-CV40 5-Disc DVD-Video Changer for about two months now. To be completely honest, I find the sound and picture quality of this player to be as good as ANY model I have seen. In case if you are wondering, this comparison does include the Pioneer DV-434 DVD-Video Player as well as the Panasonic DVD-CV50. This is the primary reason I purchased it, because when viewed in strictly those terms, the picture is as sharp and the sound is as clear as any other model I have observed. Another huge advantage is the ease I had in using the Panasonic DVD-CV40 5-Disc DVD-Video Changer. I am not the brightest of individuals, but the instructions were very thorough and I had no problems whatsoever setting it up. I was also extremely impressed with the way in which the Panasonic DVD-CV40 5-Disc DVD-Video Changer played by CD's, DVD's, and VCD's. Some of them are pretty scratched up, but the system played it as if they were brand new. I want to stress how important this is because it allows you to really get your money's worth from the various movies and CD's you purchase and own. I haven't been able to figure out why, but a guy who lives across the hall has the Panasonic DVD-CV50, and the DVD-CV40 actually outshines the CV50 in this area - not only in a few movies, but also in a handful of CD's too. Perhaps this is being picky, but I feel that when one is about to make a huge purchase, they should be aware of as many great features as possible. As for the disadvantages, I have only really found one. The Panasonic DVD-CV40 does not play CD's that have been created from decoded MP3's (CD/R or CD/RW). If you don't have a CD burner, or don't have any burned CD's, this really isn't a problem. I dropped a star off its rating for this fact, however, because CD burners are becoming more and more popular. Anyway, if you are looking for a solid DVD, CD, and VCD player, then I recommend this machine more than any other I have seen. I want to repeat that the sound and picture is as just as good, if not better, than other more expensive models. Enjoy!

This is one of the cheaper lcds on the market. I compared the image quality with some of the more expensive brands, and there was little to no difference in sharpness, color or contrast, if you play with the controls. The lcd is extremely bright (maybe even a little too much, it's adjustable) Some down points: no side-to-side swivel, only 1 year warranty (most competitor's are 3 yrs). Per another reviewer, if you run the monitor at any resolution other than the native, pictures and especially text letters may appear a bit fuzzy. I think that this behavor is consistent with other lcd monitors.

Superb Mechanical Rangefinder Camera From Leica, But..........2007-02-27

The Leica M6 TTL 35mm rangefinder camera was Leica's transitional step between the so-called "classic" original Leica M6 and the Leica M7 and MP cameras which replaced it (The Leica M6 TTL was in production from mid 1998 to 2002, when it was replaced by the Leica MP.). It is a transitional camera simply because it was the only mechanical Leica rangefinder camera ever made to include through-the-lens (TTL) flash synchronization at a slow flash synchronization speed of 1/50 second. It also was the first Leica M camera to have its shutter speed dial turn in the "wrong" direction (A status shared too by both the Leica M7 and M8 cameras), which was done because Leica designers thought that this new direction was ergonomically better (It became a major point of criticism by traditional Leica M users, and Leica listened to them when it reverted the shutter speed dial direction in the "correct" direction for the Leica MP.). Cosmetically, the Leica M6 TTL is slightly taller than the original M6 to provide more space for TTL flash synchronization. It also differs from the original M6 in offering in addition to standard (0.72) and high magnification (0.85) rangefinder configurations, a wider (0.58) rangefinder designed for eyeglass users and those working primarily with wide angle lenses up to 28mm in focal length.

If you can find a used or new Leica M6 TTL, then I'd still recommend it as a cheaper alternative to either a used or brand new Leica M7 or MP. It's definitely a less expensive alternative for anyone who wants a relatively new Leica M rangefinder camera to use with Leica M-mount lenses (I do own a limited edition Titanium M6 TTL body which I find handles as well as my original Leica M6 bodies, even with its "awkward" shutter speed dial arrangement.). The only caveat I have is that the M6 TTL is rumored to use more batteries than either the original M6 or MP, presumably because of the added feature of TTL flash synchronization. Otherwise, a M6 TTL remains a viable alternative to anyone interested in acquiring a relatively new Leica M-mount rangefinder camera body.

Black is Beautiful.......2004-11-16

It's an incredibly elegant mechanical camera, sure to be one of the last great mechanicals of its kind. While it has an electronic light meter, the shutter speed and aperture must be set manually. The focusing is manual as well. I like its small size, compared to the bulky industry-standard SLR's. When you hold it in your hands, you immediately notice its substantial heft. It feels like a brass chassis; very solid. Shake it, and there are no rattling noises. The camera feels like one solid object, rather than a box with things thrown inside it. The shutter trip is like the trigger on a finely-tuned benchrest rifle. Crisp is an inadequate word for it. You must experience a Leica shutter to know. I've worked with earlier M bodies, and I have to admit, I prefer the earlier ones. One, because the earlier M's have the Leitz engraving on the top plate. The M6 does not. You will also hear about cutting manufacturing costs by using different materials and fabricating techniques, which have made some declare that the M6 isn't as well made as the earlier M's. That is true. By I don't think it's produced a camera that's lacking in any way. In my opinion, even with the less costly materials and fabricating techniques, the M6 still outclasses its major competitors. Does it have competitors, by the way? The M6 has never yet malfunctioned on me in any way or form. The viewfinder has yet to see any dust or fogging inside of it. None of the control surfaces have fallen out or broken off. The light meter is dependable and true. If you want the very best rangefinder ever made, this is the camera.
