Haven't encountered any trouble with the CD player and it is the first one I have owned. The anti-skip function works well and I do use it when I exercise.

Don't Bother.......2003-04-07

I purchase this trying to say money and now seem to have wasted my money. It would stall and make noise and then resume playing the first week. By the second week it stopped playing altogether. Now I'm getting the runaround from the company trying to return it. It's an alternative marketer for Amazon. The other company says you need an email from them to return it. Then it sends you one directing you to the site. You must then find the section they tell you through another site. Then you must register online with them. Then they say there's no data on your purchase. So now I sent another email and we'll see, so don't bother with this one or else good luck.

Not a good catch at all..........2003-04-07

You would think that at this price this product would be a good buy. Be it for a kid, or for yourself ... it's not. This discman worked a total of a day and a half. I bought it to tide me over til I could get a more advance player. Bad mistake on my part, seeing that I should know better. When buying any kind of electronic product, cheater is NOT better. Trust me, save up the money you need to purchase yourself a quality SONY discman. In over ten years I've only owned two discmans ... and they were both SONYs. Now I'm going to purchase another SONY, forget the rest.

Great value ..........2003-02-11

The last Portable CD player I had was (higher price) and this Classic CD player plays just as well for a mere fraction of the price. The Anti-Skip feature is great. I can throw the CD player across the room and it won't miss a beat. Very cool! Great bang for the buck.

I got this for my kid a while ago and he likes it a lot. The anti-shock system is great to have.

I've had this CD player since April and it hasn't given me any troubles yet. No matter how hard you shake it it won't skip. That's pretty neat. It also plays CD-RWs. It is pretty cheap too. They don't have it at Amazon right now though. :(

This is one of the best combination TV-VCRs I have ever seen. Panasonic has a lock on the 9inch TV market. One reason is the incredible picture quality they have for this size screen. Nobody else comes close. The picture is crisp and sharp. It makes VHS tapes look incredible.

In case you havent read the other reviews,these radios DO NOT have ANY NOAA channels. I just purchased these at a pawn shop for *cheap* and they work great. They are worth the price listed here. I do not have an FCC license (~yet~) but still use GMRS and wow can I tell the difference from the countless FRS radios I own. For starters, as with any new technology, there a significantly smaller number of users of GMRS as compared to FRS,thus making a drastically reduced crowdedness. I get great reception and love this product.

5 Mile range? Hmmmm............2001-12-25

These are better than the FRS that are advertised with a 2 mile range. I live in suburbia, and tested these out. Range was from 1-2.5 miles within the city (and I'm being very generous)!

The radios offer some nice features, but after paying $75 for a 5 year FCC lisc. I expected a significant improvement in the range of the radio.

This is a good radio for the money. Easy controls and good performance. Have gotten good reception at distances over a mile with heavy obstructions in the way. This radio does not have the weather channels that is included in the product description, that is my only gripe with this unit, but it is still a good radio for the price.

very slow.......2003-06-11

This printer is horrifically slow on all but the basic setting. Click on "better", or heaven forbid "best" quality (which still isn't so fantastic) and you will be waiting, and waiting, and waiting for you paper--try printing a 50 page document and you may as well go out for coffee. By the way, I'm talking Black and White, not color, in which case you may as well go to bed and get your document in the morning. It is small, which is a plus (and hey, for us it came free with another computer). I keep mine in the kitchen for laptop use. But for any serious printing, I have to use my HP.
