Not worth buying.......2007-02-15
Get something else. This is a USB 1.1, not USB 2.0. So, it does not work well with, say, a USB 2.0 flash drive. And, it may not work at all with a USB 2.0 flash drive. Normally, I could plug my USB 2.0 flash drive into a USB 1.1 port and use it, even though I get an initial alert saying a detected device will perform better on a USB 2.0 port. However, a PNY USB 2.0 flash drive I own would not work at all with this USB hub. I can plug the flash drive directly into the same USB port on the computer and use it but it will not work with this hub.
The cable on this hub is only about 18 inches long, so you'll probably need to use an extension cable if you want to connect it to the back of a tower PC sitting on the floor.

Some of the features this has is the 'Digital Tuner w/28 Station Memory', 'Dual Mode Preset Memory/Clock', XBS, & Auto-Reverse'.

The Microtek ImageDeck is both a scanner and a stand-alone scanning appliance, meaning that you can use it completely independently of a computer. Setup involves simply plugging in the AC power cord. The control panel is relatively self-explanatory, and a simple reading of the accompanying owner's manual introduces you to the ImageDeck's major functions. Additional programs are provided which are easily installed on a computer and are useful for a range of post-scanning operations, from text editing of OCR scans to image enhancement.
The ImageDeck can be attached directly to a computer or to a printer, but scans well on its own too, saving the scanned files to either Zip disks or 3.5-inch disks. We preferred the former for obvious reasons of storage capacity; however, the smaller disk can be useful for smaller-size scans. Since there's no way to see the image prior to the scanning, there is no previewing involved. Rather, you simply choose between two preset sizes (the larger of which encompasses the entire scanning surface), or the auto feature. This latter option automatically detects the edges of any item placed on the surface (a process which takes slightly longer than a nonauto scan). Since there is no way to view remaining disk space, warning indicators on the LED display panel alert you when a disk is write-protected, full, or unformatted.
Connecting a printer to the ImageDeck allows it to function as a copier. There are obvious limitations with this configuration, most notably an inability to inspect, preview, or correct a scanned image unless you connect to a PC. Furthermore, each scan is numerically labeled--starting with either "img01.pcx" or "img01.jpg," and continuing up to 99 before reverting back to 01. There's no way to further identify or rename files on disks in the ImageDeck, although it's easy to do so on a connected PC. --David Greenberger

In about 10 minutes after getting the scanner out of the box I was working on images I scanned. The panel only has 9 buttons and a very easy display to understand.
The only small draw back I found was that the scan area was not clearly marked for where you put diffrent size paper. I have had it for about a year and I never have to worry about moving it or re-configuring it for my new computer.
This product is just plain simple quality.

I actually have the silver one, but I wish I would have bought this personal CD player first.
I bought 2 Sony ones before this. The first one was dropped and was broken beyond repair. The second one was a 'car ready' mode, but the car kit it came with didn't work so well.
This Memorex CD player is great for putting in my backpack to listen to at school, or in my car. I hadn't used it in my car in a while because I bought a car with a CD player. Well, I wrecked that car and the new one has an 'old school' tape deck. Fortunately, this CD player, with car accessories still works like a dream.

This CD player has great sound to it. Its color is really appealing as well. This disadvatages to this CD player I found were that it uses up batteries fast and it does not have a hold button. It is really great if you like to have good Bass sound, because it has a DBBS Bass system that works really great. The anti-skip works well, I have not had it skip yet. A great sounding CD player overall!
