The Look...The Sound...Flawless.......2005-12-26
These speakers are an amazing deal. I compared them to the "Bose Companion 2" that go for almost the same price, and these blew the Bose out of the water. Then I compared them to the "Bose Companion 3" that go for almost twice the price and they sounded almost identical. I am a huge fan of Bose, yet I can't help feeling that they dropped the ball on multimedia speakers. The remote could not be easier to use. You just turn the volume knob up and the speakers turn on. There is also a bass adjustment on the side of the remote. While the subwoofer is large, the sound it can put out is even larger. The audio cables that connect to the remote makes the system even easier to hook up to just about anything. I mainly use these speakers with my ipod, and the sound is far superior to those of the other small ipod speakers. The Look and the sound are flawless. WOUNDERFUL SPEAKERS.

These babies look so fine with modern furniture and the bass is A** kickin'. Great product at a very decent price. The only comment i would have about the i-trigue 3400 is the low medium frequency rendering. The bass is phenomenal, the highs sharp, but the meds are lacking especially if you sit close to your speakers. Other than that... go for 'em!

You wouldnt think that 2 speakers could deliver the powerful sound these speakers deliver. When i puchased these i just was looking for something up to date that looked nice. Not only are these speakers fashionable but they turn up so loud that it can be heard outside my house. When I turn my bass up my room shakes. Great speakers. (...).
Don't wate your money on Bose, buy these!.......2005-11-23
I'm a pretty discerning listener, so I wanted quality sound with my computer. However, I'm also very cheap. That said, I'd heard good things about creative speakers. When I walked up to the demo set my first thought was, "How can those little things sound any good?" But I turned them on and I was blown away. The sound was vibrant and full of life. The bass was strong and the treble was too, and the overall sound was just extremely rich and at less than half the price of a similar Bose system. The system comes with a ton of cables which are a pain to connect and keep out of sight but manageable. The desktop volume knob has proven to be invaluable, especially since I have a laptop and my other option is with function keys. It also has a bass adjustment knob right there too, which is great at night when the neigbors are trying to sleep. The little speakers look great on my desk and sound even better, although you really have to be in the "sweet spot" of the speakers to get the full effect. I don't really listen to these things at loud volumes, but they can definitely bump. I am completely satisfied with these speakers - especially at the price I paid for them. I don't think I could get better sound unless I bought a much bigger and more expensive sound system.

Now have five of these cordless phones around my home. They work great for the price. The only weak area is the battery. The battery last about two hours on talk. Not bad.

After I get this radio back from the local shop it's going in a box and back to Kansas! 2 trips to the local shop in 2 years for the same problem: It won't stay on frequency. There's a loose component or a cracked board.

I was attracted to the features of this radio, but i should have listend to the reviews. The detchable face broke in a couple of months.
Midland, Not Listening .......2005-08-14
I recently purchased a new 79-290, (August 05). I have not had the unit long enough to make an accurate review about it, because the face plate locking mechanism broke almost immediately. (About 45 min worth of listening time, plus one operation of the face plate.)This failure renders the unit completely useless, which is the whole idea behind a detachable face security, to prevent theft. However, the weakness of this particular part of the unit is a major problem. Apparently, this is not a new problem. After checking around, there are quite a few occurrances of this problem. One reveiw I read was in december several years ago. Midland is not "On The Air" on this design failure. There were other quirks I noticed also, which matched the same descriptions as the early december complaints. I guess I was mistaken that Midland's QC people would have proactively solved this problem by now, they have certainly had enough years of time. If their engineers are not capable of correcting this problem, then here's a solution: Make the locking swing arm, or what ever you call it, out of metal, instead of plastic. I have owned several detachable face radios, and none of them ever had problems with the face doc's. Yours is an example of what you don't do. I was impressed by the small size, it's overall set-up, front facing mic port. The unit does have some other little oddities that I would change, but it's very usable. But this thing with the face plate is full turn -off. Midland, "TURN ON YOUR EARS", This could be an excellent unit.
Watch out Galaxy and Cobra.......2005-01-06
This radio presents a real threat to the Cobra and Galaxy brands. I have worked on radios since the early 70s and have yet to find one of this quality at anywhere near this kind of price.
This is a $400 radio in both quality and features. Because it is controlled by a microprocessor it can be modified with the single touch of a few buttons, taking you from one band to another almost effortlessly. I normally tweak every new (and old) radio I get, but this midland operates so well I have decided to leave it as it was out of the box. Army signal school taught me well, "if it ain't broke don't fix it". This one's Definitely not broke.
High hopes.......2002-08-19
I waited 4 months for this radio, it looked wonderfull, but looks can be decieving. The raido fit right where I wanted it to go. But when I started using it problems became apparent. The controls were hard to use. The squelch and volume are on one stalk control and are hard to set with out moving each other at the same time. There is no noise blanking system. The squelch circuit is very quick to open therefor letting in a lot of impulse noise that would not be let though on other radios. Then the last straw, the latches holding the removable face plate broke! They were made out of PLASTIC! The radio is going back!

Very Reliable All-in-One.......2006-11-25
This machine has all the options you could possibly need - I discover something new every time I get out the manual for a refresher on something. The directions are easy to follow.
The automatic feed for scanning/copying/faxing is wonderful if you have a lot of multi-page jobs. I haven't had any problems with ink (color or black), and the cartridges are easy to replace (or refill, if you like). The software is very user-friendly, but it will also let you customize your tasks as much as you want if you know what you're doing.
I've had this for over 2 years now, and it just keeps doing everything it's supposed to...It was a great buy!
Black and White Works.......2006-11-10
I got this all-in-one because I was receiving random faxes and didn't have a fax machine. I came to find out that they were just junk faxes and nothing could be done, so I changed my phone number.
It is also nice to have a copy machine that you can just feed paper into and get copies from without having to mess around with the scanner and software.
As far as a printer, my color ink stopped working after a few months, maybe because I didn't use it much? So now I use it only for black and white printing and that seems to work just fine, I'm on my 3rd black ink cartage now.
So maybe I just got a lemon as far as color printing is concerned, but I can't justify buying new color ink just to find it it doesn't work, it does say that there is still ink in there and I only printed in color a half dozen times, so there should be. If you are just looking for a printer I think you could do better, but if you need an all-in-one it does a pretty good job.
