I really liked this MP3 player when I first got it, except for the color. It was darker in person that it showed on the computer. Besides that, the MP3 player worked great. It was my first one I had gotten and it was easy enough to use since I mostly used it for workouts and just let it play in order. The first problem I had early on was that it would get stuck after 1 certain song I had on it. At first I thought it was just the song because I would power it off then power on and it would work fine on the next song. I probably had it about a year to a year and a half before one day it just stopped working. At first I thought it was the battery because it kept powering off, but when I put new batteries in it, it wouldn't turn on.

It might have been that it could have been easily fixed, but I just would rather go buy a new one instead of dealing with the hassle of fixing it for the price it cost.

Cheap, highly functional MP3 player........2007-01-28

The FM receiver is extremely insensitive. You practically have to climb the transmitter mast and skewer the thing on the antenna in order to get it to receive a decent signal. Other than that, it's great. Battery life is about 2 weeks or so playing MP3s at reasonable volume for 4 hours a day. Sound quality is better than expected for something packaged in a tiny block of molded plastic. You will probably want better headphones than the ones that come with it, but the included ones are good for working out with, since you really won't care if you get them sweaty. Of course, it would be better with more storage. It is extremely lightweight. Having owned a number of personal stereo type devices over the years, this is the only one that I consistently use. The reason is that the size and weight make it convenient to be wired for sound nearly anywhere at any time. I can easily stick it in any pocket while wearing the earphones, and forget that it is there. (Aside from the fact that it is playing music in my ears.)

I've been using it on a daily basis for more than 1 year already and it's really great. Absolutely no glitches so far (I've dropped it on the floor SEVERAL times), great battery life !

Great Mp3 Player.......2006-07-26

I had this Mp3 player for 1-2 years before I got my Ipod Nano. I never found anything wrong with it, and for the price I still think it is more worth the value than an ipod. I always reccomend the Creative over the ipod to friends on a limited budget. Here are a few pros and cons that I have noticed.

Pros:

1. This thing is TINY. Easily fits in your pocket, but just big enough to feel it (so you know its still there).

2. Very durable (Especially with the case).

3. Good Sound, never had a problem with scratchy noises or anything.

4. Voice recording is really cool, saves as a WAV file that you can upload on your computer.

5. FM/AM radio has very good reception.

6. The software that comes with it is awesome. Click and drag ripping similar to itunes, but better in that you can convert WAV and other audio formats into Mp3s (Very helpful).

7. Great battery life (better than my iPod's)

Cons:
1. Small screen (but this isn't really a problem considering how small the whole thing is).

2. No playlists, you have to scroll through every single song to find the one you want. I found this a little tedious, but it wasn't that bad because you can go through each song in like 1/2 a second (although that is a problem when you have a couple hundred songs).

Those are the only two cons that I can think of. Oh, and my headphones were magnetic for some reason, I don't know if anyone else's are like that, but thats kindof cool. Overall, I think the pros definetly outweigh the cons, and I would say for the great price, its one of the best out there.

Creative Labs does not offer customer support.......2006-06-01

Purchased this MP3 player in April 2005. Worked great for twelve months - then I had a problem - it was stuck in FM mode, and I could not turn it off (unless I pulled out the batteries each time). Went to the Creative Labs web site for support - nothing there to help my situation - then I sent an email - and they told me that they WOULD NOT ASSIST ME, and then refered me back to the web site. They also gave me a phone number to call - but that IT WOULD COST ME [...] EVERY 30 MINUTES OF "SUPPORT" THAT THEY PROVIDE!!!!
So now my MP3 player is no longer functional, and I need to buy a new one.

Parental, Scheduling Controls a Nuisance.......2005-08-28

The Motorola BR700 has great security and port forwarding features. It has selective packet filtering, as well as "ping" protection from the WAN side of your network. If these features are all you need, then the BR700 might be a good choice. However, if you require trustworthy scheduling and/or parental controls for you network, you should consider another router. In my network, I run 6 computers, and have tried and tried to get the parental controls to work as specified. The best I could do was to get a particular computer to turn on or off, completely ignoring the scheduling and web filtering (URL, Keyword) settings. The apply, reset combo did not work for me. As one reviewer said, it took him hours to get his parental controls to work...Who wants to spend hours of their time fiddling with "arcane" settings, which should be intuitive? I would gladly have given this router 5 stars if everything had worked as advertised.

Parental Control Does Work.......2005-08-16

I've bought this router because of its parental control also, then spent long hours trying to decode its settings, and finally made it work. Just add a rule, hit "Apply", then hit "Restart". This last action is necessary! The router works awesome. But I give it 4 stars because of its really cryptic settings...

Parental Controls Do Not Work.......2005-07-22

The Motorola BR700 is a very secure router with abundant controls and features. It would be the perfect router--if only everything worked as specified. Motorola advertises its BR700 possesses "robust" parental controls, and it is one of the main reasons I bought it. However robust these controls may be, THEY DO NOT WORK. I have contacted Motorola concerning this issue, and am awaiting a reply. As far as I know, no firmware update has been released to fix this problem. Recommendation: if parental controls are important to you, then purchase another router.

My pictures don't stink anymore!.......2002-04-15

I've always used cheap 35mm and disposable cameras. Now that my daughter is growing up and becoming more involved in various sports and school activities I've long wanted to have a serious camera with zoom so I can get good upclose high quality shots. I decided to splurge on the N65 after doing lots of internet research and talking to variety of photographer type folks.

The camera itself is very sturdy and solid, but not extremely heavy. I'm able to carry it around in my backpack all day without discomfort. It's easy to load the film in, but the provided instruction book is superb to get you started. It has a variety of manual settings, but I've pretty much only used the auto setting for everything - and just about all my pictures have come out great. Nice and sharp, with rich colors and just so much better looking than my cheapo camera gave me. It's also nice to be able to zoom in on various subjects. I have a lot to learn about this camera, and will need to find a book to learn it all - but as a beginner it has really served the purpose for me, but I know there is much more I can do with it.

A great SLR for beginners and advanced amateurs.......2002-01-03

I bought this camera four months ago knowing nothing about photography. Now, thanks to my F65, I'm shooting slide films and learning the zone system and continue to amaze ppl with my wonderful pictures. I had a chance to play with the more advanced F80 but besides the faster flash sync offered I'm fully satisfied with my easier-to-manage F65. By "easier" I don't mean any loss in functionalities or features. Advanced features like multiple exposures, depth-of-view preview and auto bracketing are all there inside this compact, light weight body. There's an optional infra red remote for this camera that functions like a cable release which's a must for night and serious photography too. The camera works with all AI and AFS Nikkor lenses. A shutter speed of 1/2000 is more than adequate for all conditions and film pull/push can be achieved by exposure compensation despite the fact that we can't directly manipulate the ISO setting. It's a perfect camera for novices with its automatic modes, and for advanced users with its possible manual settings. The matrix metering is reliable and accurate, the center weighted metering is good for low light or night photography. It doesn't have spot metering, but it isn't necessary anyway as a real professional won't need a on-camera spot meter. So unless you're in need of a faster flash sync for wildlife photography or a more rugged but heavier body, there're really no reasons to go for higher models.
