I love this product!.......2006-06-11
I received this mp3 player for Christmas and have used it almost every day since. It holds about 135 songs, which is plenty for me and it's very easy to use. The software was simple to load and figure out and the player itself is just as easy. The only negative for me is that it doesn't have a belt clip or armband, so it gets a bit cumbersome to hold on to when walking the dog in clothing with no pockets. Believe it or not, it's too small for most "generic" accessories. (All of which are designed for iPods.) I would highly recommend this mp3 player!

I found that although the display was too small, it had good sound quality and battery life.
Which was okay, until it died completely. It will not work as a player but still works as a USB drive. Go figure.

I just got this player (it is 80 dollars at Cambridge Soundworks, by the way. 256MB version for 60 dollars) and am super psyched. The following attributes make this the perfect gadget for me:
1) Interfaces with Windows Media Player. No need to install additional software to my work or home machine.
2) Rechargable battery, no AAA's, no way. Alkaline batteries are so 1986!
3) BUT, the Lithium Ion replacement battery IS available. After all the problem people have been having with iPod battery longevity, this is a great thing. OR, you could carry a charged spare!
4) Size.
5) Price. Why would I pay 200 dollars for something that will be obsolete in 2 years when I could pay 80 dollars for something that will be obsolete in 2 years? I'm just sayin'.
6) FM radio and microphone recording functions. Kinda nice to have the option of getting NPR or some such thing if the mood strikes me. Or, I can use it to record Meet the Press from the radio. Helpful!

An outstanding mp3 player. Extremely easy to use, awesome sound and it's friggin tiny, about the size of a credit card and 1/8 inch thick. Another great product from Creative.
Small yet Powerful.......2005-09-18
It is extremely small, but it's a great player. It can be used to transfer data, as well as play music, and it has voice recording and an FM tuner. My one complaint is the lack of playlists; to group songs, they must be in folders on the file system, making putting a song in multiple playlists a pain. Although the screen is small, it can still display all the essential information. It can hold a lot of music if you use the included Creative Audio Converter to convert to a lower bit rate (I use 64 kbps MP3). Oh, and it can't read ID3v2.2 tags (what iTunes uses) so if you use iTunes, your song titles may not display correctly; instead, the filenames will be displayed. Also, the limited file format support is a downside (supports MP3, WAV (not a good idea), and some WMA (not protected)). Overall, a great player, but definately not in the same class as the Apple iPod.

I bought this item for the many features (including the DVD Audio). The product is easy to use and set up. The remote is a little small and difficult to figure out at first. But it did not bother me as I am using a universal remote. A video cable is not included, which is a must if you want to enyjoy progressive scan.
BAD Delivery.......2003-01-23
I ordered this DVD on January 14 - The order was not entered until January 18th! And, I was not notified of any order until January 19th. I am told, I cannot expect delivery until NEXT WEEK! Totally unacceptable! Do not use this company.

i bought this player with the thought of dvd audio..i love the video playing,fantastic picture...the audio plays nicely as well,has good bass managment i also tried a yamaha dvd audio/video ,cost [money],sounded muddy and boomy...i think this unit is far superior and half the price to boot!the only drawback and why i rated it only 4 stars is that the remote is too small as are the buttons on it and you have to use it slowly and deliberatly otherwise it has a tendency to get confused and freeze up(the whole unit itself),the drawer won't open,until you power it off and back on then all functions resume...strange why it does that but i also returned this and exchanged it for another unit...but it did the same thing,so i imagine it is the nature of the beast..can be aggravating,but the unit is slim and looks nice,fits in my cabinet nicely..i think this is a good buy for the $ with the progressive scan and also another feature i've only seen on more expensive models...a switch to turn off the video signal,giving you a better 6 channel audio signal.
Great sound & video, but not easy to use.......2002-09-12
This is my first DVD player, and overall I'm very pleased with it. My audio CD's sound so much better than they did on my old CD player. CD's that used to skip now play perfectly.
The quality of the video is beautiful. I used a an S-video cable to connect the DVD player to my TV. I have never before seen such a sharp, clear, and crisp picture on my TV.
The machine has a beautiful, sleek appearance.
What I don't like about this unit is the remote control. The main buttons are very tiny, so it's awkward to do basic functions such as play, pause, and skip. The owner's manual is also not user-friendly -- very small print and difficult to understand.
Without the shortcomings of the remote control and the owner's manual, I would rate this DVD player 5 stars.
Finally, a DVD player that does MP3 right.......2002-08-31
I already had a 3 DVD changer, but now that I've amassed a collection of some 50 MP3 CD-Rs (all ripped from my own CD collection or downloaded from eMusic, a subscription MP3 service) I was eagerly awaiting a DVD/MP3 player that would let me make use of them.
This is the first home stereo MP3 player I've found that actually displays the entire album and track name on the video monitor, not just the first few characters. You can easily step through album names and then step through song titles on that album to find the song you want in seconds, unlike many players that make you click sequentially through 70-80 songs before finding the one you want. At 10 hours of music per MP3 CD-R, I can load up 50 hours of music in this machine, hit "play" and not have to change discs for a week!
This player is loaded with features. I cannot yet take advantage of the 5.1 sound outputs or progressive scan features, but that is all waiting for me when I choose to upgrade my receiver and monitor. I'm also excited that I can now explore DVD-audio titles. This deck will read just about any kind of disc: CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-RAM, DVD-R, DVD-Audio, Video CD, MP3 and WMA files.
The user interface is intuitive and the unit itself is handsome and compact (only 3 inches tall). I'm looking forward to wading into the more advanced features, but for now I'm having great fun just skimming the surface.
Panasonic has packed a ton of features into a sharp looking, easy to use deck at a great price. I know the DVD is an evolving platform (current estimates have the next generation "blue laser" DVDs hitting the market by 2005), but I expect this unit will keep me more than happy for the next few years.

Poor Phone Product.......2007-08-29
Piece of junk. I purchased the phone system in May 2007 and returned it to Amazon in August 2007 for an 80% refund. The answering system never worked well. Messages were frequently garbled and unintelligible. I called Motorola and they sent reset instructions through email, which did nothing to correct the garbled messages. I then requested an RMA from Motorola. They denied the RMA even though I was within the warantee period. I appears Amazon as reseller holds the ownership of the warantee. I then called Amazon who offered an exchange, but I refused. Instead Amazon offered to refund the price the phone system prorata.
Don't get it.......2007-08-06
This is not a good product. The instructions are confusing and setting the menus is clumsy. The address book has to be entered in the cordless phone, not the base set, for both phones. (There's a very confusing distinction between private numbers and shared numbers). The date/time stamp simply doesn't work at all and it is impossible to fix. The cordless phone went on the blink just weeks after I set it up, and it didn't come back till I let the battery run out. The message system is very annoying. Each time you listen to a new message (which of course doesn't have the right date/time) the machine plays all of the old ones, whether you want to hear them or not. It's a total loss and I'm going to buy a replacement.

My very first cell phone was Motorola, and it served me great, so I became attached to the brand based on that experience ,and for that reason alone bought Motorola SD4591 Digital Corded/Cordless System. As we've put the wireless network in house the cordless phone started playing tricks. The battery life got very short very soon too. I was told I need to get different batteries NiH instead of NiCD. Naturally the microwave was playing the tricks on cordless too. As we have two lines in house and was told by several people to move to 5.8Hz 2 line phone I decided to get Motorola MD7091 5.8GHz Digital 2-line Phone and remained loyal to Motorola. And boy was I wrong again. What others are saying about caller ID not showing as soon as I have another phone on the same line besides Motorola MD 7091 is true in my case too. I don't get it does Motorola expect us to switch phones to their system now around the house if we want to used one of their phones??? This is really cheap trick
Naturally, I could blame all this on poor quality of NiCD batteries, Wireless Network, Microwaves and phone company, and other brands' phones connected to my line. But what is the common thread through the entire ordeal: MOTOROLA. I will give other brands a try now, not yet sure which ones.

Okay, but..........2007-01-11
This hardware does its job adequately - my computer and keyboard are talking to each other. However, it is an extra hassle to deal with the "software you are installing has not passed Windows logo testing" messages. Also, several times after unplugging the midisport from the computer, I've had to reinstall it the next time I wanted to use it rather than simply plug it back in - also a hassle. (The last few times I unplugged I did not have to reinstall, however.)
I was looking for a budget MIDI interface, and this serves the purpose at a reasonable price if a person is willing to deal with a few hassles along the way.
