DON"T BUY THIS PLAYER.......2007-08-01

I own a Creative MuVo TX FM 1GB MP3 Player that is great! But, I paid the same for it as this 128MB player is currently listed for. You can get a much larger capacity player than this for the same price. Unfortunately the newer 2GB MuVo V100 has some significant issues with download speed and folder/track navigation so I can't recommend it.

A good product once you figure out how the shuffle key works. Good versitility allowing both MP3 data, Flash drive data and FM sound. Volume seemed low but I tried other headsets and it seemed to work okay.

After 8 months of normal use the LCD panel no longer displayed and the buttons did not work. Contacted Creative tech support and they said I should send the unit in. However, I must also send in a $25.00 Non-refundable check to test the unit. If the unit was bad they would replace it but keep my $25.00. The warrantee on the unit is one year but does not cover labor after 90 days. They recommended I take it back to the store.

This isnt a bad mp3 i mean for jogging working out etc... the built in microphone is one of the best features in this mp3.It records very clearly. One of the features annoying is the small amount of space, but if you can cope with it then its ok. The second thing is that it doesnt have a line in, that means you cant copy music from another mp3 or media source. All other features are really good including the sound its very loud. Overall this mp3 is good for beginners so if you still dont own one go for it otherwise dont because its very basic.

Thouroughly Disgusted With This Product............2006-07-16

Stupid me, I bought two of the MUVO TX MP3 players. The first one stopped working after it got wet when I went for a run in a light drizzle. Not many choices or stores to buy other brands here in rural Hawaii - so I had to buy the same model as a replacement. After two months, it too has pretty much stopped working. Pressing the play button sometimes gets a response - but as soon as any other button is touched - it stops and 9 tinmes out of 10 it won't restart. I will never - ever - purchase another product from this manufacturer.

In response to the comment by William Polm "bill197" in regards to turning the player on : Your player is not necessarily broken. You turn it on by HOLDING DOWN the play button for several seconds. You will notice the LCD screen light up, and a progress bar will come up. It will increase quickly in 1/4 increments across the bar until the player is on, and it will immediately begin playing.

You will also need to HOLD DOWN the button to turn the player off.

Not As Bad As Everyone's Made It Out to Be.......2005-10-21

I bought one and have been sharing it with my roommate for almost a year now, and I have to say that I've run into none of the problems that other people have been mentioning. (I'm not sure how to account for that; perhaps they got lemons?) I rarely have to put in a new battery and the sound quality is fine - not spectacular, but good enough. The buttons and navigation are self explanatory and easy to use; I've never had to read the instructions. It's also very light, compact, and portable.

As a college student, I've found a lot of great uses for the Muvo TX 128: I can hold enough songs on it to keep me distracted while I get from class to class. This MP3 player can also double as a flash drive, so you can store your image files, word documents, anything that fits on it for easy portability. And it goes right into your USB port, so you don't have to deal with any plugs or wires.

This is also VERY useful as a voice recorder. I've taken it with me to lectures and seminars and have found that it can hold over 5 hours of voice recording. You'll want to sit close enough to pick up sound - either the front or middle of the room.

All in all, after a year of use, I've been very satisfied with this product. When it came down to choosing between the Muvo TX 128 and the iPod Shuffle, I chose this product, and it hasn't failed me.

I don't have one of these, but my friend does. he bought this nearly two years ago at Best Buy. They kept trying to sell him a warranty for it, even offering it for free, which was a little odd (but I guess maybe cause so many people have said it breaks on them). It was $120 something, which is way too much to pay for it now. It's a simple mp3 player, no screen , just play, pause, stop, rewind, forward. I thought it'd be hard to use since you can't see which song you have playing, but it only holds about 30 songs so it's not that hard. It's like the ipod shuffle in a way. Well I've read all these terrible reviews about it and I just have to say that it isn't all terrible. I guess some are crappy, but my friend got one of the good ones. It's never broken on him and it's sound quality is good. It's worked well for him, but I mean, all these reviews don't make it sound good.

Best to look for another player, just to be safe.

Didn't work right from the git-go.......2005-07-07

This player arrived yesterday, and I spent a few hours trying to get it to work right. It never did. I was able to put music files on it. But when I unpluged it from my computer's USB port, attached it to its case and battery, it wouldn't turn on. I tried everything I could think of, including going to a local drug store and buying a set of new AAA batteries, just in case the one that came with the unit was dead or near dead. After installing a new battery and a few tries, I was able to get the unit to turn on, but it abruptly turned off the instant I touched any button (volume control, change song, etc.). Then, it would not start at times; but, on the other hand, it would start at other times, but it consistently shut down the second a button was even slightly touched. I would try to change songs or up the volume, and it would suddenly shut down--as if I had removed its battery (which, of course, I hadn't).
I am disappointed at the cost (unrefunded shipping), time wasted and, of course, the aggravation. I feel the quality control on these products is poor-to-nonexistent. I'm in the process of obtaining a refund, and have ordered a CD player, instead of trying another MP3. Wish me luck!

I am an ardent Panasonic fan. All of my home electronics bear its name. However, this stacker dvd changer really is not a good product at all. Rather, it is perhaps better to say that it is the inherent flaw in this type of technology. The changer works just like the car cd changers and unfortunately sounded like one too. It is noisy and it is slow. One might find this unit acceptable if random music player is not a concern. If it is, then beware at the slow speed which this unit switch from disc to disc and the unbearable amount of noise it makes.

You will be happier with a carousel type changer.

Being at college, I have had the advantage of being able to compare and contrast various DVD players across campus. I have had the Panasonic DVD-CV40 5-Disc DVD-Video Changer for about two months now. To be completely honest, I find the sound and picture quality of this player to be as good as ANY model I have seen. In case if you are wondering, this comparison does include the Pioneer DV-434 DVD-Video Player as well as the Panasonic DVD-CV50. This is the primary reason I purchased it, because when viewed in strictly those terms, the picture is as sharp and the sound is as clear as any other model I have observed. Another huge advantage is the ease I had in using the Panasonic DVD-CV40 5-Disc DVD-Video Changer. I am not the brightest of individuals, but the instructions were very thorough and I had no problems whatsoever setting it up. I was also extremely impressed with the way in which the Panasonic DVD-CV40 5-Disc DVD-Video Changer played by CD's, DVD's, and VCD's. Some of them are pretty scratched up, but the system played it as if they were brand new. I want to stress how important this is because it allows you to really get your money's worth from the various movies and CD's you purchase and own. I haven't been able to figure out why, but a guy who lives across the hall has the Panasonic DVD-CV50, and the DVD-CV40 actually outshines the CV50 in this area - not only in a few movies, but also in a handful of CD's too. Perhaps this is being picky, but I feel that when one is about to make a huge purchase, they should be aware of as many great features as possible. As for the disadvantages, I have only really found one. The Panasonic DVD-CV40 does not play CD's that have been created from decoded MP3's (CD/R or CD/RW). If you don't have a CD burner, or don't have any burned CD's, this really isn't a problem. I dropped a star off its rating for this fact, however, because CD burners are becoming more and more popular. Anyway, if you are looking for a solid DVD, CD, and VCD player, then I recommend this machine more than any other I have seen. I want to repeat that the sound and picture is as just as good, if not better, than other more expensive models. Enjoy!

I bought this camera while I was just learning how to take manual photographs, and have been pleased at the variety of options and quality of photographs. I have never had a problem with any feature, loading film or otherwise, and the Quantaray lens has allowed me more versatility in shots. I highly recommend it, and would like to point out that Nikon is THE name in photography, and should have an extensive warranty to cover defects in manufacturing. Another great Nikon.

Lost my Pictures!.......2005-01-02

The N75 is the first SLR camera that I've owned that failed to rewind - twice. This meant the loss of two valuable rolls of film.

There was no explanation other than an E (for error) and the camera FROZE UP.

There is no manual rewind - forget this dangerous camera - its unreliable - ceck the Interent for others who have had similar problems - they are out there.

I have been using the T5420 Talkabout for a year now and it still works great! You shouldn't expect to have an exact 2 mile radius unless you are in an open area - no obstructions, trees, walls, mountains, etc.

These radios come in handy when my friends and I go on long drives since it helps us keep in touch with each other across vehicles. We also use it during outdoor activities such as biking, skiing and snowboarding because these areas usually don't have cellphone coverage.

What a disappointment. These don't work in 1/2 of the range advertised, and they eat 6 "AA" batteries in less than 2 hours (not constant talk time). Even with rechargables, the incredibly low battery life makes them useless.

Range: In a suburban setting - no tall buildings, 0.3 mile - honestly I could almost shout that distance. On ski slopes it was ok.

Use: The push to talk (PTT) button was very stiff and both I and my wife had problems holding it down.

Broke: PTT button broke the 4th day we had it - just as well. I'll go GMRS next time - different brand too.

I have used Motorola FRS radios at work for over 2 years and they have performed very well. The T5240 continues this excellent performance.

Picked these up with some X-mas money, mainly for play use with my 4yr old son, with some minor utility while out with the family.

For the kids, and light usage, they can't be beat considering the price. I did take them to the mall, and frequently had people on the same channels, as well as reception issues (it's a big concrete structure after all).

But for walking around the neighborhood, going to a park, or maybe usage in a department store, they serve their purpose well.

If you're looking for more heavy duty, longer range, high-security 2-way's, these aren't for you.

If you want simple, easy to use, light usage radios, this is your best bet.

Being a ham operater I also have a need to be able to track small children and also use to have car to car comunications we found the units good for both uses. the smallness made them most useful while hikeings and for keeping tabs on the kids. I would recomend to anyone.

I picked up pair a month or so ago from a local "Mart." Nicely sized, however, no sub-code feature makes these units almost unusable in any type of crowded (theme park) venue. In addtion, the speaker quality was poor. Frequent message repeats were required to communicate effectively. Pass.
