I have two Creative Zen Nano Plus MP3 Players. One I use just for my metal music and one for old rock and country songs. The player worked for awhile just fine. After a few months, the player turned into crap. Every song on the player was deleted and I tried to turn it on, but it refuses to turn on. I tried to find an answer on Creatives website but I couldnt get an answer and I couldnt email the company. While my other MP3 player works just fine, this player I bought sucks. A waste of money.

I purchased this MP3 player to use while working in the yard and around the house. I love it and am considering upgrading. I find it very easy to use and to organize the contents. Even after sending it through the washer and dryer, it continues to work wonderfully.

I was looking for a small cheap Mp3 player and I didn't care how much memory it had so this seemed perfect for me. I saw that many people had rated this 4 and 5 stars so I decided to buy it. When I got the Creative nano I was really happy with its preformance until I tried to put my subscription music onto it. Thats when I learned that it wouldn't hold any subscription music forcing me to buy my music one by one which is costing a lot of money.
After that I started realising all of its imperfections. You can't use the FM radio in the car without hearing mostly static. You can't search through songs without actually changing the song you are listening to. Don't get me wrong, there are some good sides to this Mp3 player but I still would definately not recommend it.

I did not know enough able this item to have made this purchase. It was a gift and the 13 yr old was thrilled. BUT we had a really hard time setting it up. It still isn't up and going.

I actually have never owned an MP3 player until now, so I don't have much to compare the Creative with. But I can tell you it's great to have a small tool that can do so many things. The radio reception is fuzzy at times and the battery life is pretty bad with the wrong batteries, but overall it has a great set up with helpful file folders to organize, great recording capabilities, plug and play option if you don't want to install the CD on every computer you use it on, and so many ways to connect it to your computer and other hardware.
If you're not looking to break the bank purchasing a quality MP3 player then forget about iPod and go with Creative. (BTW: My player was red not black, but I'm sure the black one's just as high quality)

NO NECK STRAP in the package.......2006-09-07
Despite Amazon's description, the package contents listing, and Creative's own website description, there is no neck strap in the package of the Zen Nano Plus.
When I contacted them, Creative support stated that "A neck strap is not provided with this product". You can, however, purchase one from them for $10.
This is a pretty shady move on Creative's part, and I am a little wary of purchasing another product from them because of this. If you do not need a neck strap, this will not be an issue for you, but if you want one, or just want the package to contain what it says it contains, you should look elsewhere.

Better than I could have imagined!.......2002-10-08
It took about 3 weeks of research and comparison, but I finally decided on this deck for my DVD player. The list of features is amazing, it has everything you could possibly want from a DVD player. It is also a very nice looking deck, with a mirrored front and a slim design, it looks great on the rack! Besides the looks and features, the performance is what really sets this deck apart. I demoed MANY decks in this price range, and even some more expensive, and I have yet to see a picture comparable to the RP82S. It even makes my older Sony Trinitron look like a million bucks! The only drawback is the remote, with its' small buttons and awkward layout. Oh well, I guess not everything can be prefect, but in the competitive world of DVD decks, the RP82S comes pretty close.

Submerged in lake, and still working! .......2007-08-26
I normally don't write product reviews but these Motorola radios deserve a 5-Star rating. I have owned this product 6 months and it performs as promised in terms of its distance rating and features. HOWEVER, this event speaks volumes about these radios: to fish out a runaway canoe, I jumped into the lake with this radio in my pocket. It was fully submerged in a Maine lake for 1 - 2 minutes, with water INSIDE the radio display looking like the water-and-bubble in a carpenter's level. The radio wouldn't transmit or receive at first, and I thought I would have to replace it. But after shaking the water out, throwing it in the bottom of the canoe, then drying it out overnight it now works PERFECTLY! It's as good as new. Can other radios do this? I would never buy anything but Motorola!

I really enjoy this TV. I connected my PC speakers to the front and the sound is great. The picture is really nice and pleasant. I hooked up my DVD player to this TV and the picture was awesome. This 19" TV has some great features that other small screen TVs just don't have. The automatic sound leveler helps with those loud commercials. It also adjusts the picture depending on the type of program you are watching. The remote control is easy to use too.

Piece of S**t.......2005-11-23
Had the drive for about 8 months, using it infrequently as a second CD-RW drive to burn a disk copy directly. While using it to install a new registered copy of MS-Windows XP Professional a heard a loud "pop' about 25 minutes into the process. The damn drive had destroyed the CD, shattering it into thousands of small bits. Needless to say, The disk was worth a lot more than this cheap, crappy drive.
Unreliable Burning, Weak Software, ZERO Support: DON'T!.......2004-04-19
Sad but true, what seemed like a great value (stacked ceiling high at Office Depot, who ought to be ashamed) turns out to be a low-rent loss leader. I'm no installation expert, but I'm not a novice either. The 1-page installation guide was almost deliberately confusing, and there's no further support, phone, online, email... none. Period.
The included Nero software (more or less - an already out-of-date 'Limited' version) tries so hard to behave like it's been packed with a grown-up product, but the drive can't match it for efficiency.
With all the failed burns this clinker has produced, the only bigger stack of useless CDs around here is stamped 'AOL' -- and this drive is catching up fast.
The latest kink: I shelled out for a couple of other CD creation software packages, but - they can't access this brand! Well no wonder -- "iRiver", the makers of the Magic Spin (a name heavy on irony) has completely divorced itself from this product line and is busy delving heavily into a line of $500 MP3 players. (I pity the fool...) So -- you'll get no reply from them on this shoddy product, and no other support of any kind is available or forthcoming.
What the heck - it does copy CD's of all kinds pretty well, and for the price, I can't complain that I was taken that badly.
But taken I was. Avoid making the same mistake.
Worked Great For Me.......2004-03-19
I just installed this drive yesterday, replacing another drive that I had problems with from day one. I have installed a number of drives and found nothing unexpected about installing this one. After installation I was somewhat amazed at how well it worked. It reads very fast, not sure of the speed but much faster than any other CD I have had, and, with no special tweaks or shutting down of other applications I burned one CD. That burn ran at 52X from an image file. Not only did the 52X burn work but it did it to a blank CD rated 48X. I have never been able to burn a CD at the drive's rated speed before so I am more than pleased with this drive.

could someone please explain to me why in the hell my drive opens and closes none stop ever since i install this horrible drive. as soon as i installed it, it started this. it finally stopped opening and closing but when it stops the door stays open. what in the world is going on with this P.O.S. product. no contact info to be found anywhere. the product does not work because the door is wide open and if you try and shut it, it starts opening and closing again. could someone tell me what is going on. thank you, michael

In responce to earlier comments. All of these drives come with the same instructions. There is a jumper at the back of this drive to set operation before installing. Maybe if you need a movie on how to, then you should consider having a computer shop install for you. This drive is made by a company named Top-G(Top Glory). This is my second one and haven't had any trouble out of either one. They both came with the newest version of Nero CD mastering software. I would highly recommend this drive to anyone.

MA 620 Infrared USB Adaptor .......2007-08-29
I cannot make this work with my SONY CLIE. I bought this because my PDA quit synching in the cradle. (It synchs fine via IR with the IBM but the Dell Inspiron 700m does not come with IR.) Although it is listed as working with the Clie on the Amazon site, the documentation that comes with it mentions only cell phones, and also refers only to WIN 98, not XP. The IR connection takes forever when I try to synch. in fact, it never finishes. the co. says they will take it back, thankfully. Obviously I don't recommend this. It doesn't deserve the one star you see here but the review could not be posted until a star rating was selected.
