Battery does not power up USB devices standalone.......2007-09-20

The reason I bought this product is so that I could power up USB devices and the hub with the included batteries. Unfortunately, the hub will not power any devices I tried nor operate as a hub without drawing power from a laptop or PC. The manual states that the red LED will extinguish when the batteries have discharged. However, even when I removed the batteries, the red LED remained on. Basically, there does not seem to be any way to determine if the batteries are doing anything. I am still looking for a true battery powered hub.

Functional - Room for some improvement.......2007-08-23

This unit does what it purports to do. It provides a 4 USB port hub with some ability to power outside devices via its on-board battery pack. Quibbles: my m-audio Oxygen-49 keyboard draws too much power for the built in hub in the iMac Keyboard, and though it can be powered by the CP-H420MP, it draws down the batteries quickly, within an hour or two. I ended up attaching an AC adapter to the keyboard. There is an unlabelled switch on the CP-H420MP for powered or unpowered operation. What would it take for them to put a label on the switch? The unit comes with a card that you can use to buy an inexpensive AC adapter for this USB hub. I threw it away when I opened the package. I shouldn't have. None of my generic AC adapters work with it.

Not Recommended.......2007-07-17

I don't recommend this unit for the following reasons:
1) The precision of the case is quite poor. I was almost unable to open the battery cover. I finally used my Swiss Knife to modify the battery cover to resolve the problem.
2) The battery indicator is only passive (switch on/off indicator only) and cannot tell you if the batteries are in use or not. Even without the batteries, the indicator can be still on. I cannot confidently say that this device does not draw power from my vulnerable VAIO UX280.
3) When using the Sennheiser USB adaptor on this device, the audio quality was significantly degraded. I assume that this device cannot keep data flow fast enough.

Cyber Power 4 Port Hub.......2006-11-10

I have had several different 4 port hubs that I have used with different laptops and found all liking in one way or the other. This hub even with out using the battery powered fecture works on all 4 ports. A good buy for the money.

Best road warrior hub ever.......2006-11-05

I have been very pleased with this hub.

It had been next to impossible to find a battery powered hub. My issue was, with being a road warrior, I needed a hub that was USB 2.0 and would support thevarious devices I carry with me on the road. I have other 2.0 hubs but none of them would suppport (i.e. maintain power and connectivity) devices such as a 2.5 100 gb hard drive (usb powered), my ipod, my "Q" phone (and others) without having to use the AC power adapter. Being on the road a lot, always having to use/plug in the AC adapter was a real pain. Finally found this device and it has ended all problems. In fact with this hub (plugged into a Sony Vaio S570P) I haven't even had to turn on the batteries! And everything single thing I plug into it has enough power to operate. Even with all 4 ports in use!!!. Typically I have plugged into it: mouse, ipod, Q (phone for activesync) and a USB powered 100 gb hard drive. My only two suggestions to Cyberpower Systems . . . include the AC adapter in the package (they include a mail-in card for the adapter for $6.95 in shipping) nad make a 7 port version.

One of the best pieces of road warrior computer gear in my bag. Highly recommended!!!!

I have the silver version of this, the DVD-S47S and despite it's description, I have had pretty good luck playing DVD+R, not just DVD-R.

It also has a cool clear tray that glows under the bluelight bar.

Perfect for taking just 4" x 6" pictures..........2005-03-24

I recommend for those who like using APS cameras to first try the one-time use verisons before buying this one. I have used two one-time use Kodak Advantix cameras, 35 mm single use, Poloraid instant camera, and 28 mm or 110 Kodak Cameo Camera. But I seem to like having more options and this is what came up. However, the Olympus i Snap APS camera doesn't have the Panamoric view, nor the Print H type available...just the Print C type available and that is 4" x 6" print type available on this camera. I remember paying alot to have a few panamoric prints being processed and that didn't come cheap. So, if you want three Print types available, then buy a used Kodak Advantix Camera instead of this one. Also, I think the resulting prints depends on what brand name film cartidge you use, the lighting, and how the exposed film is temporaily stored before it is taken in to be processed.

Stylish but bad pictures.......2003-04-22

I think that this is a terrible camera. Even though it is very stylish, it takes bad pictures. Even if you have bright lighting the pictures look dark. I would not suggest buying this camera.

Hip and Stylish Camera.......2001-08-22

Even at the age of 12, I think this camera would be great for kids, because its easy to reload film into and it's not hard to work with. I think it's a pretty cool camera, because there is color to it instead of the plain old normal gray and black. You don't have to worry about you're kids breaking a hundred dollar camera the first time they you use it. I would give this product a five star rating.

VERY DISAPPOINTING PRODUCT

The new controllers are nice to look at but lack the stamina of the original controllers.

The button joystick is much smaller on the shaft and breaks easily.
Won't hold up to the use they should be designed for.

I put one star above because this is NOT a game - it is a controller. I was very pleased with the delivery and shipping for this product. My only problem is that there were buttons on this controller that are not on the controllers I had (the ones that came with the system), and there are no instructions as to the use/functions of these buttons...example a "pause" button???? It does not pause the game, so what does it do, or am I using it improperly?
