Product Description
802.11g just got faster! Up to two-times faster wirh D-Link AirPlus Extreme G. Get ready to experience wireless networking in high gear. Powered by D-Link 108G Technology, this 802.11g wireless router device is capable of delivering maximum wireless signal rates of up to 108Mbps when used with other AirPlus Xtreme G products. The DI-624S Wireless 108G Storage Router creates an 802.11g wireless network and shares a single broadband Internet connection throughout your home or office. With two USB ports to attach USB storage devices, allowing you to get more out of your wireless investment, give you the option of connecting either flash-based or hard drive-based storage. You can then use the router to wirelessly share storage on your network. Setting up is a straightforward process using the Setup Wizard and user-friendly web-based management utility. For computers running Windows XP Service Pack 2, you can take advantage of Windows Connect Now. This allows you to simplify the configuration of your wireless network by storing configuration information on a USB flash drive. WiFi certified, the DI-624S features high performance as well as industry-wide compatibility. This 802.11g router is backward compatible with 802.11b devices. The built in 4-port switch allows you to connect up to four Ethernet enabled devices such as additional computers or network storage devices.
Customer Reviews:
Works but the storage feature has a long way to go.......2007-01-23
I bought this router to replace my DI-524. It does what I need and the storage feature works...sort off. There is no documentation on it and you have to read a tonne of internet posts to get it working. In my case, the labels on the ports were switched so a flash drive in USB1 actually shows up as connected to USB2. Other than that I could not connect to this drive from my desktop without another undocumented gem - use the IP address from wireless and the router name from the desktop. Also the partitions are readonly depending on the formatting of the storage you connect - NTFS partitions are readonly...
Finally, turn on the VPN pass-through feature for PPTP and IPsec else you will not be able to connect to your corporate network. Tech support does not really help and you have to wade through lots of documentation and tech support sites to figure this out.
If I had to buy this router at the regular price I would not do it. It cost me about $15 so I think it was OK
D-Link 624S Router Installation Fails on DSL PPPoE Connection.......2007-01-14
1. The 624S installation fails at the point of the WAN "Connect". There is no informative diagnostic. It does nothing. An IE test confirms the no-connection.
2. I have used both the "Install Guide, v1.0" setup wizard method. and the method given on page 84 of the "User's Manual" for any PPPoE connection which says NOT to run the wizard. The 2 authors should get together. Both methods fail.
3. I changed Ethernet cables, Amazon kindly sent a second 624S router (both fail), and I changed the computer NIC. Through all these changes and tests, switch-backs to a direct connection to my ISP using DSL PPPoE always worked. The latter also involves changes to the "Trend Security" package to switch from a "direct connection" to a "home network", the latter for the router inclusion.
4. Most tests were done using Windows XP, SP2. Turning off the Windows Firewall did not help. I also tried using a 98SE partition with failure at the same juncture.
5. I tried for help from D-Link technical support. Note that I live in Canada and received the 624S on a family visit to Syracuse. The Canadian support centre states they have no support and no knowledge about the 624S model since they do not sell it. Perhaps they were aware of unstated problems. Further, one cannot access tech support from the U.S. D-Link company from Canada -- they refuse to answer. NO HELP.
6. I believe no reputable company wants to impose non-functioning equipment on its customers. There could be an assembly line flaw with some units (2 failed), not too likely with quality control. Or maybe the firmware (April 2005) needs revision -- none available.
7. To conserve space, I have not listed my "Ping", "Ipconfig" and "Netsh" tests. My TCP/IP configuation, username and password have been reset many times.
8. To sum up, something is wrong and I have no access to competent technical support to decide if it is settings, software or hardware.
It works! and I got it cheap!.......2007-01-11
I certainly relate to what people are saying here. I had my DI-624s for about two months and it took over a week for Sunrocket (VOIP service) to get back online. Somehow the 624 was blocking ports or something. I knew that calling the D-link support was hopeless so I called Sunrocket instead once I got transfered to Peer2 support it took about 30 minutes to configure the sunrocket box to work with this router. Funny thing is that my older 614 worked fine with the same configuration.
Then there's the network storage. NO info on it at all, I plugged my portable HD and nothing would show up on "Network places" I sent Support and E-mail...still waiting. It turns out that the network storage takes some time to show up. so if you walk away and come back it will show the network storage.
I looks like every time you plug something in you have to access the router settings and share the device. I hate that because One of the reasons I wanted this was just to plug stuff and see it right away on my xbox running XBMC. Now it forces me to turn a PC on to share the device.
Once the device shows up the PC and xbox can see it with no problem, was able to stream 800mb avi file as well as DVD format files. no problem.
I noticed I couldn't write to the network device, Well I just read here that there's no NTFS write support, so I will have to format the drive in FAT32. At least I found what the problem was, I spend several minutes trying to write something to it. then I just gave up and plugged the network drive directly to the PC and wrote to it.
Overall I Paid $13 for this router so I can't complain to much. it's been on all this time since I got it and I've only rebooted it once when playing around and switching back and forth between DHCP and static Ip on the xbox. After the reboot I got my static IP back.
Overall most of my stars are for the price! but definitely D-link dropped the ball
Not enough security.......2007-01-10
The router provides with it advertises. However, there are some problems with they way that it provides everything. First is the fact that it doesn't have any in-depth manual that tells you how to use the features on the router. Second, the setup for the shared folders is not documented and the support available from a tech is non-existant. Third, the wireless encryption is manual. You have to setup your own wep key or whatever type of key you want.
Overall I don't like this router because you have to fumble through everything to get it working. Once it is setup its fine, but it will take the average user about 3 weeks to get EVERYthing going.
Utter Junk.......2007-01-03
Utter junk. USB is impossible to use. The wireless throughput is slower than a dialup. I bought it and spent 2 hours with D-Link customer support and they asked me to return it for a replacement. Not sure if that is going to help, since i think the product is faulty and replacing this piece is not going to change one thing.
There is no firmware update either. If I could, I would give it zero ranking.
Product Description
The MultiFRAD voice/fax/data frame relay routers give companies the ability to consolidate LAN, legacy data, voice, and fax communications over frame relay. These routing FRADs are ideal for small to midsize companies with multiple offices looking to reduce intra-office long distance costs, extend PBX services to branch offices, eliminate costly leased lines, or combine LANs and legacy systems on one line. The broad offering of MultiFRAD models gives companies the flexibility to select the most appropriate device for each office for a complete end-to-end solution. MultiFRADs allow companies with multiple offices using separate routers, legacy data, and voice links to consolidate these communications lines into one frame relay link per office. For voice quality that rivals PSTN quality, the MultiFRAD provides voice/data prioritization, G.729, and other voice compression algorithms. The MultiFRAD voice models allow users to place calls from their desk phones and use standard dial tone, ring, and busy signals. The calling interface is so similar to existing PSTN or PBX calling procedures, little to no user training is required.

Amazon.com Product Description
As affordable as it is stylish, Philips' silver, 32-inch 32PT5441 puts the game right in your living room. It's more than a pretty screen, however. The set also boasts terrific features and convenient connections. A hallmark of the set, its QuadraSurf remote control lets you personalize and customize your channel surfing and TV viewing by family member or program theme, including 1-button favorite-channel access.
Further refining an already stellar image is the 32PT5441's 2-line digital comb filter removes blurred edges between colors and reduces dot crawl (tiny, moving dots of color along a sharp color separation in a vertical line, as in a depiction of a character's striped T-shirt).
A component-video input grants optimum connection with a compatible DVD player, while standard composite- and S-video inputs accommodate most other audio/video gear, from DVD players to satellite receivers, digital video recorders, video game consoles, cable boxes, and VCRs. You can choose between rear AV inputs and a set of side AV inputs for spontaneous hookups, including a side-panel headphone jack for private listening.
Other 32PT5441 features include a sleep and event timer, AutoPicture (which optimizes brightness, contrast, color, tint, and sharpness), and AutoSound (which lets you select settings for voice, music, movies, or custom). Incredible Surround simulates surround sound from the set's 2 speakers, while bass and treble controls let you adjust the sound to your taste.

Philips Claims Another VICTIM!.......2007-09-08
Purchased our TV in October 2005. Looked GREAT in the cabinet. Performed well until August 2007, then we got the "creeping lines of death" on the screen. Now (September 2007) it just won't power on! Customer service said they can't fix over the phone and won't even comment on what is wrong. Service guy said that minimum of $50.00 to diagnose problem. What a turkey this thing turned out to be!
Decent TV for the price!.......2006-07-13
I liked the tv for its sound and outputs/inputs. the picture quality was alright but i really liked the sound quality. the best feature that i really liked was the option to tune the sound quality. my current sony doesnt have this feature. i used it for about a year and then sold it because i moved out and the tv was too big for my current setup. downgraded in size to 27" and upgraded in quality to sony!! :)
returning it.......2006-01-26
I have read a lot of the reviews for this tv online. I purchased it not even 5 days ago. I think I am going to return it because it is not worth for me to spend $360 for a tv that might die between a month and 2 years. The only thing is, I really like this tv. Stupid Philips.
Philips 32PT5441/37.......2005-12-13
Don't do it. Television worked for about 17 months then quit with the same characteristics as hundreds of other victims. The power off with flashing sequencing lights. Customer service is no help and the authorized service center wants $70 to "diagnose" a problem that they likely know very well, considering the number of identical problems. It's a big hassle and will involve a labored process to contact BBB, class action stuff and consumer protection agencies. I am willing to go through the process, but I would advise you avoid this product at all costs. There are other reasonably priced televisions out there. Good luck.
Arbor Gates.......2005-12-04
set worked just fine....for about 1 1/2 years, then it would not come on any more....stay away from this product!!!!!

Customer Reviews:
Non review.......2007-01-16
I could not review this controller because I never received it, the company sent me a generic rip off controller that I returned. From the reviews I've seen this controller is THE best one to have for your PS2, however, getting your hands on one is difficult as I don't believe they are being made anymore.
Good for SOME games.......2007-01-12
this controller only works for some games, but the agetec bass landing controller. Its a much better investment for the variety of games are actually compatible with it.

great for surround.......2006-03-06
These are excellent surround speakers as long as your receiver lets you control the channel level (+2-3db). I would not recommend them as front/stereo speakers even in a small room, except when the alternative is a mini stereo system. If you want omnipolar fronts then go with the regular Omnisats from Mirage.
One more thing: these speakers need break-in, so don't be disappointed if they don't sound great out of the box. We have a pair of each (Omnisasts and Omnisat Micros) in our secondary HT and both pairs needed about 30-40 hours to open up.

Customer Reviews:
Don't buy from this Seller.......2007-01-03
This was a refurbished drive and not what I was expecting. It proved impossible to contact the seller to return it. Don't buy from this flakey outfit.
Good drive but go with Firewire or usb 2.0 instead.......2005-11-19
I use this as one of my backup drives on a Mac OSX machine. I actually have 2 backups one being redundant. When adding external drives to any Mac they should always be reformatted with disk utility. After I formatted them and started to use them they would crash my machine when they were both on. After talking to the Maxtor support it was determined that all I needed was a different type of driver that I accessed from their website. There is no such thing as a perfect brand of hard drive they all suffer from the same problems. I have known people who have had maxtors for over 10 years with no problems. sometimes you get a lemon and they crap out after 3 weeks. It happens to all of the manufacturers. The point of all this rambling is be vigilant! Do multiple backups of the things that are truly irreplaceable. Pictures should be archived to CD or DVD at least 2 times a year. All it takes is to lose the first 3 years of you children's life to pound this concept home. As for the hard drive you can choose any reputable brand and be reasonably certain that it will be OK. Just don't get USB 1.0 like I did because it took 38 hours to backup 100gig. You should buy the largest capacity that you can afford and go with Firewire or USB 2.0
Personally I don't use the Button or the retrospect software. I use Backup from apple, but I have heard it works just fine.
A Must Have!!!.......2005-09-15
I bought this backup drive after I nearly lost everything that I had on my laptop, and I couldn't be happier since. If you are a laptop owner like myself, then this is absolutely one item that you must have. First of all, laptop internal drives generally tend to be more expensive and less reliable, and second of all, you've simply got to protect whatever precious you might have on your personal computer. I almost lost all the pictures of my 1 year old daughter, and I am not taking any more chances. I have a wireless network setup in my house, so using this drive in connection with Linksys Network Storage Link NSLU2, I can send/retrieve files without been physically connected to the drive. It's totally awesome! I haven't noticed any problems with speed either. It also comes with Dantz Retrospect Express program that allows you to do your backups automatically. Nice little program which worked well so far for me. All together, a solid drive and a must have computer accessory.
DRIVE FAILED. 18 Months old........2005-09-08
Here's my review: I won't be buying Maxtor again.
The drive failed within 18 months. Not sure if I'll recover the lost data. I've never had a drive fail, so this is very disappointing.
Moral of story: Find a better external hard drive company. It seems there are too many similar stories to convince me to buy Maxtor again.
Reliable? A Backup Device Needs To Be.......2005-04-20
The hard drive crashed in my machine and I ended up replacing the entire computer and changing brands. I was going to buy the Maxtor A01B120 to use as a backup device until I canabalized my failed PC and noticed that the drive that crashed was a Maxtor! I spoke to friends and found they had similar problems.
Caveat emptor...

Nice, medium size softsider with a shoulder strap and a velcro belt strap(which opens so you don't have to thread belt through). Pockets and compartments for spare batteries, memory cards, etc. Probably not big enough for a pro, but for your average user, a nice size.
