Plugged it in. Set it up the same as my previously failed SMC Barricade Router. Haven't had any trouble. I have not used the VPN feature. Have not used many other features, just an 8-port broadband router. Works great.

Finally, a sub $100.00 8 port switch/router/VPN/firewall with Stateful Packet Inspection and everything you need to get your SOHO safely connected to the Internet. There are other's out there, but nowhere near the features at this price range. Setup in place of an older Linksys HPRO200 router/firewall was about 10 minutes including wiring and cycling the cable modem. Rule sets will take awhile longer, but should be nice once it's done with configuration backup and restore features.

Now this is what you should expect out of a DVD player (and for the price!). Every DVD I've played in this player has been top-notch and only increases any viewing experience you might have. The 5-disc carousel is a blessing for DVD titles such as Fight Club which incorporates 2 dvd's and allows you to go back and forth. Another simply amazing feature included is a dialogue enhancer which allows you to actually enjoy the movie (on your system with a center channel) instead of constantly having to adjust the volume. The scan feature is a plus but for anybody that looking to get the most out of their DVD experience this is a great buy!

Terrific picture! Great Price! I upgraded from a 25" to this 32" and it has a remarkable picture. The menu system is easier to use than the older Philips' TVs and I really like the remote control that comes with the television. we have three of these drives in our office. It has a very solid feel, the case is made out of extruded metal that is about 2 or 3 mm thick. This hard drive is built like a tank, very solid, but a bit on the heavy side.
it has 2 firewire 400 ports on the back. This is great for mac users, since this drive can be a startup disk if needed.
This drive is great for file storage, back ups. we also use it as a scratch disks when using photoshop, illustrator, etc. I use it for storing large video files.
Pros.
1. Very Solid Construction.
2. It's quiet
3. the one touch back-up works well, and is fairly easy to set-up.
4. firewire allows the drive to be a start up disk
Cons.
1. Heavy
2. the blue face plate is not that attractive
