Great idea...but..........2004-09-01
I conduct training seminars and travel a fair amount as a result. This being a g wireless, I was looking forward to it's speed and distance between my laptop and projector. The first one I received the IC card had broken loose inside the plastic housing. It appears there is 1 screw and one contact point where the integrated circuit card attaches to the protective housing.
I returned the first, for an exchange. I received the 2nd one and it had the same problem as the first: the IC card was broken from it's protective case, the screw, a small piece of plastic, and the IC card rattling in the housing.
I really want what this product claims to offer. But if the product cannot withstand distribution and shipment (well packed the 2nd time), I know it would not last long in day to day practical use. I returned it for a refund.
I expected a much better design from D-Link. For the cost, they really could have spent a few more pennies to make the device somewhat secure inside.

Really bad .......2006-03-24
I got 2 of those devices few months ago and im still have problem with configuration.
There is a problem with drop the channels after the users hang up the calls , the Channel still opened and the users are not able to use . You have to disconnect the channels manually, and that makes really hard job as you don't know who's is connected on this channel or not .
There are few options on the configuration software to force drop the channel but seems not working .
Another bad Point is the User Manual , very incomplete and if is the first time you're installing this product , Good Luke for you! the manual won't help you .
The Multitech tech. Support service as well, is one of the worse I ever seen, and Im not sure if that really works or not as I tried many times be in touch with then to help me solve my problem , but even in UK or America, I could not talk with anyone .I was waiting 17 min on hold waiting for someone in America without any success .
Was really big mistake to purchase this device , I really should go for a Cisco , or another more professional company .
I would not recommend this device.

Tops on features, short on accuracy!.......2005-04-16
The 510 is a great unit and I plan to keep it even with it's shortfalls. First off it has yet to disply correct addresses for locations and is sometimes two blocks off. Maps are mostly accurate except for subdivisions or areas that have been built within the last three or four years. Hopefully updated maps will be out shortly...at NO CHARGE. I've downloaded the patch from Navman so now I'm waiting for more patch and map improvements. Reception is great. Without external antenna I've mounted it on the face of my dash, not out in the open exposed to the sun and thieves and it never fails to aquire. Even in the garage. Volume could be a little louder. Color touch display rocks. Overall pretty good unit, needs only a few upgrade improvements, like address/position accuracy better than a block or two. 50-100' would be nice!

This is my 3rd GPS unit. I have previously owned Garmin products and this NAVMAN takes the prize! Not only is it portable so I can use it in any of my vehicles, but I can actually use waypoints. This is a great feature because not only can I use this product for road navigation, but I can use it for all of my outdoor activities like hiking, fishing and geocaching/orienteering! This is the only GPS that I have had my hands on, that you have no trouble seeing the screen when outdoors...it's a touch screen by the way!! The battery life is great I have not lost juice on it once. I usually let it run 5-6 hours before recharging. This is one of the better purchases I have made lately and have been recommending it to everyone. You just can beat the portability and the versatility!

Didn't bother reading the manual when I bought this - had it all working very nicely in just a few minutes. Timing of directions was perfect at all speeds up to (and slightly above) freeway speeds. Very simple to use, maps seem to have good detail, and 'Back-to-Track' works nicely.
The idea of having to load maps is not new, and is generally necessary for a lot of devices like this (unless you buy a mega-expensive hard-drive based units). Loading a few state maps didn't take too long, and was really no more difficult than syncing my PDA.
I also have not experienced the reset issue mentioned by one of the other reviewers.

I though I was doing the right thing getting rid of my navman 620 and getting this 510 model, how wrong I was, got a refund in the end because it was so bad you keep have to reset it at the slightest mistake,not only that it gives delayed directions.
Overall VERY annoying.

I bought this map system because it looked easy to use, but instead, it was very confusing.
First, all the maps were not on the device. I had to select some from the CD's. Next, I had to keep going back to my PC to make changes.
Once I got the right maps loaded, it was slow to give me directions while driving. I guess it is meant to be used at slow speeds. Not very handy if you are in a hurry.
One day, I left the charger cable at home (while changing maps at my PC), so I though the battery could hold me for a short trip. Apparently, the battery does not hold the charge long, since it turned off on me. Also, my location started to move off the road!
Good for technical wizards, not for regular people.

Case fits the Canon A710 IS very nicely.......2007-05-01
I bought this case for the Canon A710 IS. The camera, along with its wrist strap, slides into the case very easily and is fastened with a zipper. It has a pocket on the front that fastens with Velcro and is easily big enough to accommodate two extra batteries, an extra SD card (in its cover) and maybe a few more small items. It has a belt loop rather than a slip-on clip (this is not an issue for me). The case has a small amount of padding that should protect the camera from minor bumps, but I doubt that it would protect it from a serious fall.
Cons: 1). The case is just a fraction long for the camera. If this becomes a problem, a small amount of tissue paper in the bottom should remedy that. 2). The closure flap for the storage pouch is attached about half an inch above the top of the pouch. It is conceivable that a battery could slip through this gap. By placing the batteries crosswise in the bottom of the pouch and the SD case above them and fastening the flap snuggly, I don't believe this will be an issue.

I like the product. It came in handy when I traveled because I could fit my camera and a small change purse in there too. Plus, there is room for an extra battery and memory card in front. But, it is not huge.....small enough to wear out of view (under my coat) while traveling.

I anticipate this is a quality item as it is LowePro: Seen in stores for slightly more $$ - does anyone know if this is available in a version with a strong spring clip for clipping to a waistband like a cell phone holster does? Do any slim camera cases have the "spring clip" attachment that I am looking for (I dont wear belts)

I have this for my Pentax Optio S digital camera, and it fits perfectly inside the Z series, plus two of its own DL-18 lithium ion batteries, and four extra SD cards with no problem. The material breathes, so moisture doesn't settle inside like leather does. Can't beat the price, either.

This is a good mini camera bag for compact camera and a spare battery / memory card. Fits my S400 perfectly, front pouch carries the my batteries and spare memory card. If you need to carry more, you will need to find something bigger.
