I purchased this camera for my grandaughter for Christmas. This camera is not Kid Friendly and is not easy to use. The LED light is only usefull as a prop. Features are diffucult to use and despite all our efforts all the pictures are VERY DARK and unusable even in well lighted situations. Upon trying to connect this camera to our PC (High End Dell XPS with XP Pro) we discovered that the driver necessary for the camera is not included in the software. MGA refers the purchaser to Arcsoft the software supplier for support. There is no support apparent. Emails to the company produce a response indicating that the driver is not available on the net with a promise to mail it to us. There is no camera support on the software site and only ads for other products. This camera is does not funtion properly and support is poor. Picture taking capability is very bad. Don't waste your money on this product and dissapoint a child as we inadvertantly did.

i haven't purchase this product yet but i'm going to get it for christmas. When i looked at this bratz video camera online i thought it was going to be a good camera. i wanted it since last year when i saw it on the [...]. This product is so new that no one have made a review about it in any website. i wanted to be the first. I've been a big bratz fan for years and all the products i bought has been great. No problems whatsoever. i just hope MGA hasen't made a bad camera. I'll be disappointed

Inconcievable-the other rating?.......2005-10-18

It has been an EXTREME pleasure working with this camera, as it has so many features and pluses. Still camera works like a champ and delivers crisp, beautiful photos (with the exception of no flash and low light conditions). The video end of this camera has been more than expected and the zoom is remarkable and accurate. It having the ability of firewire and USB outputs has also been a bonus. I have had this camera for more than a year and it has performed flawlessly. I like the feel, the ease of use, the options, the zoom, the still camera features, playback features, titling features, actually, what's not to like. Two minor drawbacks, one mentioned above, the other little unstable when fully zoomed, but on a tripod, that is not an issue. I know how much I like it and believe that anyone else would too.

Bad Buy.......2005-09-20

This is not a good source for pictures. I have read the book numerous times, and tried every conceivable setting, to no avail. My pics are fuzzy beyond repair. I am now shopping for new camera before I lose more important memories of my kids.
Video camera portion seems to function fine, although, it's a lot of money for just that piece.

Very Impressed.......2002-08-13

My mother bought this CD player for me for my birthday, and I was shocked that this portable player filled my dorm room (a very large one) with sound much better than my big stereo system did. The cd player, cassette player, and radio all work great, and it looks really cute, too (I got it in blue).

Only two small things kept me from giving this one 5 stars. First, the sound seems like it's lacking something if you don't use the bass boost. When you do use it, though, the sound is great. Second, I had planned on slipping the player into a backpack to take to the beach, but I found it to be an awkward piece to pack. It's easy to carry, but if you had wanted to pack it away don't count on it unless it's a large bag.

Overall I highly recommend this player because it has an amazing sound for its size. If you're looking for something small but effective, this is the one to buy.

I purchased a Xerox DocuPrint P8 several years ago. Somewhere between the years 1998 and 2000. I still use it as my primary printer and I've never had any problems with it. It has definately outlasted any inkjet printers I've had.
I am currently running Windows XP and able to print w/o issue. You can download the P8 drivers for Windows XP from the xerox website.

Think Twice Before Purchasing a Xerox Printer.......2001-06-11

I Recently purchased a new computer with Windows ME. When I tried to download the correct driver for my 18 month old Docuprint P8, I found that Xerox has yet to release drivers for Windows ME. I'm sure the P8ex is a fine printer (I have no complaints with the performanceof my P8), just don't expect Xerox to support their product. Best of luck to anyone who purchases this when Windows XP comes out this fall.

Xerox is a poor choice for printers.......2000-06-09

Previously, I had always purchased and utilized HP printers and had been very pleased with the performace and value based on initial purchase price and cost of replacement cartridges. But when it came time to purchase a new printer I decided to review comparable printers available from other manufacturers and became interested in the Xerox P8ex due to it's features, additional memory, price and the Xerox name. To be fair, set up was basically a "no-brainer" and I have no complaints regarding the quality of the printing, but these 2 'qualities' are not adequate reasons to purchase this printer. First, it's much "noisier", than other printers, it jams frequently, and it runs out of memory frequently despite the additional 2mb of memory than comparable printers. Based on the above you might think "fine", it still sounds like a decent printer for the price. However, let me assure you that when you need to purchase that 1st refill cartridge, you'll regret this purchase decision to the extent that like me, you'll start looking for a new printer to replace it! First, good luck trying to locate the replacement cartridges for this P8ex model at your usual retail and/or online stores, even your favorite superstores! Be aware, the P8 model requires a different cartridge than the P8ex. I've spent hours on line searching for replacement cartridges after being unable to locate at my usual office supply stores. As if this wasn't disturbing enough, believe me when I state that once I located them at a few online stores I was horrified! I have found the replacement cartridges to range from $115-$145 each! And that doesn't include shipping if purchased online! Maybe you can find a way to justify the price, but I can't. Especially when I became aware during my search that Xerox manufactures replacement laser cartridges for most every model of HP printer and they're only HALF the price of the replacements for their own printers (at least the P8ex)! So, here I am with a new Xerox printer and the realization that it would be cheaper in the long run to replace it with a NEW printer, than to continue to buy new replacement cartridges for the printer I already OWN! In fact, considering the cost of the refill cartridges, the actual printer is MORE DISPOSABLE than the cartridges! And NO, you won't be able to find the refill cartridges at the typical "refurb cartridge" site or find a "no-name" generic replacement either, I've tried. So, I'm in the market for a new printer, an HP. My only question is whether I'll take advantage of purchasing the Xerox manufactured replacement cartridges for my new HP printer since they're such a steal for the price! But I doubt it, since why would I want to support a company that provides a product for the owners of another manufacturer's printer at a reasonable price, while their customers are bleeding money to purchase replacement cartridges to enable them to use their Xerox printer? HEAR THIS XEROX: this isn't only poor customer service/business...I would consider it EXTORTION! Anyone want a P8ex printer?

This is a great printer. I bought a cheaper laser printer and had nothing but problems with it. This printer is the best one I have tried yet. I would recommend that everyone buy one. It is definately worth the extra money.

Xerox Works For Us Again.......2000-03-27

Anyone who buys anything but Xerox, is foolish. I currently own a fleet of small printers from Xerox for my business and even a BIG Document Centre, and this and every product I have has had no trouble except for the normal routine maintenance. Compared to Xerox, Cannon cannot compare, all printing and scanning products I have tried from Cannon have failed. Sure Xerox probably has their not so great products, but hey everyone does, but for the money and quality, you just can't go wrong with a name like Xerox.
