I too am happy with the performances of my Edge DiskGo! products, but have had trouble receiving any rebates.

I recently bought an Edge Tech Corp DiskGo flash drive and have been satisfied with its performance so far.

UNFORTUNATELY, the company itself leaves much to be desired. They market many of these drives and other products with a VERY RESTRICTIVE rebate program which requires the rebate to be postmarked within 10 days of INVOICE. They make no allowance for holidays (as happened to me over xmas & new years) and personal vacations. Discussions with Edge Corp's main marketing & sales manager fell on deaf ears, and messages to their VP were unreturned.

Only buy this product if you can meet their restrictive, if not onerous rebate rules. Using the SuperSaver free shipping may put you out of the rebate window. I for one, will never buy another Edge product.

Although my watch is slightly different (64mb, LAKS Brand) this watch was a design that seemed to have been licensed by a few comapnys like LAKS and EDGE but it is a usefull thing. Unless youve seen it around you have no clue its a USB NAND FLASH Drive. The USB connector just looks like a cheap design. In fact the watch looks like one you can buy from a dollar store, down to the rubber wrist band. But it is very confortable, waterproof and shock-proof. Also it can take alot of abuse. The day after i got it i healped a friend move. It looked pretty bad, Paint scrapes, scratches... etc. it looked bad... but some warm water and some dish cleaner or windex cleans it right away... flawlessly... ive accidently worn it in the shower, been caught in the rain and in rooms with unbeleivable humidity. It still works... perfectly.

Not the One to Buy. Below Average Hardware. Look Elsewhere........2004-06-02

This particular unit gets 2 stars instead of just 1 only because it is recognized pretty regularly over USB2.0. That's where the redeeming qualities end.

Pacific Digital is simply not the company to purchase a CDRW from. It's as simple as that. Whatever speed you want, whether internal or external, please look elsewhere.

It may seem like a good bargain. You see a low price, perhaps they are even offering a mail in rebate. As should be obvious by other reviewers and a simple web search, they don't honor their rebates. Don't be roped in by saving a few bucks! This unit will cost you 10 times that much in frustration and stress.

Their support is non-existant. Luckily I am an advanced user and I can configure things without manuals. For those who don't consider themselves an "advanced user," be prepared to be frustrated!

Warranties are meaningless. These units are only good for occasional use. If you burn a lot, your unit WILL break. It's not a question of 'if,' it's a question of 'when.' The internal hardware mechanics are simply cheaply put together.

That said, when the unit works, it's not terrible. Although one still does recieve some bad burns, even with buffer underun protection.

Nero is nero, no matter what the drive. I think the software is comparably as good as Roxio. However that only goes for the disk copy utility. The CD compilation and custom burning software for data and music CDs are not as good. Nero has improved these features, but the lack of manuals supplied by Pacific Digital makes it hard to take advantage of that.

You might want some documentation on what kind of disk format to make your custom burns in. Good luck finding it. This drive doesn't come with it.

Save yourself some grief and invest in another drive. Sorry Pacific Digital.

When we recieved our first one, it never worked straight out of the box. We exchanged it and the second tv worked for about 2 months and suddenly the audio went out....

The audio broke after 7 months of very kind occasional use. The only thing less reliable than this equipment was the Philips consumer relations department. I'll never purchase another Philips product again nor allow my workplace to purchase one unless they improve their warranty or reliability.

Broken in FOUR DAYS.......2001-10-10

We had this item a total of 4 days. It ate 2 videos. Then wouldn't take any more videos. I am returning it. This is the second TV / VCR combination made by Phillips Magnavox that has broken in record time (with normal use). Very disappointed in their products and won't buy another item from this company.

This TV/VCR has some really great features. The best is the Clock that automatically sets itself! The remote control is easy to use and makes it super simple to record my favorite programs. Great TV for kitchen or bedroom!

This is a great entry lever for college student who want to try on MP3/WMA files and use it as a voice recorder for the lecture. Your money will be well worthy. A+++

effective but delicate.......2005-04-05

i was quite happy with it for a while because i had initially gotten it to record dreams, ideas etc and it also works great for transferring files between computers (quite fast transfer rate). but the first time i have taken it out of the house to use the mp3 player functionality while snowboarding i found out how delicate the thing is. even with a fresh battery it could barely make it up the chairlift without dying on me, let alone while i was actually riding. perhaps something is loose inside. if it gets bumped it just loses power. ive also had a hard time on occasion to get it to turn on at all. as before this is not a battery-related issue. i would like to get it replaced but i havent got a clue what i did with the warranty. hang on to it! its a pretty nice little unit for the money, just not sure if its a very durable device. maybe mine's a fluke. btw the internal mic records at a really impressively clear quality for voice. as an mp3 player, it only holds about 20-25 songs at a time.

This item really surprised me. I have to admit I expected less quality from such a low priced 128 MB mp3 player. But I did my research on the company - had a technician friend check out the technical specs, checked the feedback of other customers concerning the company, emailed with plenty of questions including "is there a catch?" - and they are absolutely reliable and this product is working perfectly fine. The sound quality is up there with other mp3 players I have sampled, it's so easy to use, I just plugged it into the computer, it recognized it and I had NO problems whatsoever with file transferring. If you are still iffy on the company, email them and they will respond to your concerns IMMEDIATELY. They shipped it super fast and everything is in brand new shape. I am completely happy with this mp3 player.
