This drive works well for me. I only gave it 4 stars because it is not made by Plextor. It is a rebadged Benq. I assume Plextor is concentrating on DVD drives and no longer makes CDRs themselves.

Compared to many 19", i would say the Best........2005-06-24

Many of us know that Mitsubishi makes one of the best projection TVs. Like wise, this model from NEC Mitsubishi is the best. with .25 pitch, this has got a clear resolution. i have some WMV files which are of not so good quality. when i watched that in a Samsung monitor of similar config, it looked different. But when i watched the movie file in this monitor, it was perfect, i mean it really brings out the best out of the worst clarity movies. If you want to try out sample, try the video songs in CMT website. Compare it in other 19" brands and then view it in this. Better quality. And its easy on eyes compares to 29 pitch LCD monitors.

I simply love it. I have one of these @ home and also @ office. Try it and you will notice the difference.

I wasn't sure how the Nectron would work in my Stylus 1200, but I gave it a try for the low price. after being happy it fit in the slot, I worked with it for a few weeks. It works ok. The print quality is fair, slightly lighter than the original Epson. I felt like cleaning the head more often because of occational streaks though... overall not bad for[the price]0

I purchased this mouse as my first optical mouse, and kept it for a few months. At the time I bought it it was inexpensive compared with other optical mice, and it had lots of functionality with its five buttons. However, its shape is very awkward and my hand and wrist would hurt after using it. I also found the drivers unusable and ended up using one of the MS ones, which worked great. I ended up buying a Logitech Mouseman Dual optical, which is definitely a better mouse and much better suited for me (read: game playing and graphics).
Bottom line: today there are much better mice out there at this same price point from both Logitech, Microsoft, and other companies as well.

Nice looking, but needs work........2002-08-27

I bought this mouse over a year ago. I planned on using it on my mac G3 running OS 8.6, but ended up bringing it in to work to use on my pc running NT 4.0. The mouse worked fine for the most part. Recently though, I have noticed wrist pain and that the mouse button won't always work. Keep in mind with the wrist pain that I use my mouse a TON at work. Also, I have noticed the scroll dosen't work in all programs. Same with the buttons.

The reason I didn't keep the mouse on my mac; the software to program the buttons dosen't support mac os.

I have used it for two months and I just love this mouse. You can get this for the half price of other brand name optical mouse, however, you could expect the same feel and function of the expensive optical mouse from this mouse. Only one drawback is that drivers are included in the floppy disk, not CD-ROM. Easy to set up and works great.

This mouse can work just as well as the more expensive brand, but it is somewhat of a hassel to get it to do so. The software that is specifically for this mouse doesn't integrate with the windows environment too well, but with a little tweaking it can be used with the drivers and software for that "other" brand. However, this is not very practical and isn't really worth the trouble to save a few bucks.

PERFECT!.......2001-01-18

This mouse is great. I have used it for over 2 weeks now and it is the greatest mouse. It is not to light, so it wont feel cheap and it responds to your motions very well. The scroll botton allows you to scroll up and down the page very easily so you wont have to bring your curser to the side and drag your mouse down and have it end up of your mouse pad. I suggest that if you are looking to buy a mouse that you get this one.
