The radio works great at work. I sit in a construction office trailer, and I like to listen to the radio.

Great Radio For the Price.......2007-06-13

After experiencing Hurricane Rita, I felt I needed to buy an emergency radio. I keep this one at work and my Grundig FR400 at the garage at home. I've had nothing but good experiences with the radio. I can get the weather band fine, hear the major TV stations in the Houston Area, and pick up the airline bands nicely. It comes with a ac adaptor unlike the Grundig. The built in rechargeable batteries are a great feature. I've only used the dynamo a few times and it worked. I've not tried the solar. It is stored in an office so I expect it to last many years. I've tested all the bands and work fine. The LED light works. It does seem fragile. I wouldn't drop it above 3 feet. It is compact. Small enough to bring it to an Astros or Dynamos game to hear the play by play. I wish they would make a digital tuner with programmable pre-set buttons.

I keep this one the table by my recliner. The radio has it all. No fancy, advanced features, but it has good sound quality, and you can manually tune quickly. I use it to quickly find stations. If I like what I've found, I'll tune in with other radio, a Sangean ATS 909 which set me back MUCH more than this one. But I will tell you that this radio pulls in the stations which my costly radio does. I especially enjoy the airline frequencies. The price of this unit is a real value. Actually, I use it more than my other radios (I have 4 of them). Why? It's just very handy and accurate. Comes with an external antenna that plugs into the ear phone slot. Hey! buy it! It's not that expensive. Doesn't even need batteries!

Not a great product.......2007-04-11

This radio is sub-standard. I also own Eton, and enjoy it, but did not have the short-wave option so I bought the Kaito. The squelch is so strong, it is hard to even receive the weather channel. Would not buy this product again, ever.

Great Radio, better than my eTon , the solar power is super.......2006-06-21

I bought two Dynamos, an eTon and Grundig, they are made in the same factory, I like them till I have a chance to buy this Kaito KA009 . Compare the radios, we can see tfrom the 3 aspects:
1. Power. For an emergency radio, it should work anyitme when you need it, KA009 comes with a strong dynamo motor inside, a few cranking powered the radio to a full volume, I like the dynamo part, it works great. The solar panel works great too, I left it under the sun, the direct sun can drive the speaker very well. I left it near the window for a day, the sunlight charge a bettery well, I use it at middle level of the sound for two day,3 hours everyday, it still works, but lower sound, so I cranked it up again.
2. The reception. I could not believe this little radio can embrace so many bands,the air band is not what I expect to receive signals in my area, but I did receive the pilot talking once in a while, fantastic ! The weather band is clear and nice. The shortwave bands are better than any of my eTon or Grundig FR200 ! I love this radio, it is lighter and comes with AC adaptor which Grundig never has.
3.I like the LED flashlight, which is a good addon to a radio, it works great.
4. You can not expect a radio with a pleasant soundquality with a portable radio liek this, but this radio gives you a great sound quality on FM station, even it is not a stereo one, but it sounds realy well on all bands.

Except the big name Grundig, KA009 is better than any of the Radios I had before , so I have the other two radios to my parents and a friend of mine, just keep this radion in my room.

If you have any need of a radio , this is a real emergency radio worth of keeping with you .

Don't Bother.......2006-01-07

The Kaito KA006 appears to do it all - AM, FM, shortwave, TV audio, weather and aircrafts bands - plus mulitple power sources: AA batteries, AC adaptor, solar power and hand-crank dynamo. Just the radio you'd want to have around for any situation, right?

Wrong. As a radio, it's totally inadequate. Like most radio that cover many bands, it doesn't do any of them well. Dial resolution (the ability to see where you are tuning) is dismal, and reception quality is horrible. You'll hear stations everywhere they shouldn't be, and the shortwave, weather and TV audio bands will be full of mulitple "ghosts" of local FM stations. The audio is rather tinny, to boot.

The hand-crank dynamo is unwieldy, and the internal battery doesn't hold a charge very well. Three or four minutes of steady cranking gives you maybe fifteen minutes of radio play, which is substandard for this type of radio. The radio will play in direct sunlight via the solar panel, but you have to prop the radio so the panel is directly facing the sun, which means the speaker is facing away from you.

Horribly overpriced. This is probably the worst performing of the crank/solar radio models. If you are going to rely on this thing in an emergency, you are going to die.

If you have to have a hand-crank radio, look to the Grundig FR-200 instead. Better yet, buy yourself a decent AM/FM/TV audio portable and a big package of AA batteries.

Be Careful What You Buy Here!.......2002-05-24

I ordered this camera, and paid for it. When the camera arrived; it did not work. I now find that I have no recourse at all. I am out all my money for a camcorder that is useless. Telecasting Camera.......2002-05-07

I've own a camera just like this one (model-cc4362) For 3-4 years now and it's great except for recording around or in loud noices. I actually Televise with mines, although I Looking for a digital camera to televise with, but this one is doing a great job for now. It has help me to make Thousands of Memories for lot of peoples ,but most of all my Church.

Good Camcorder / Bad Battery.......2001-11-12

I purchased the RCA CC4352 Full-Size VHS Camcorder nearly 2 years ago and found it simple to use. For the price, its an excellent camcorder and it takes quality video's. The only problem I've had is that the battery went dead after 6 months and it could no longer be recharged. The recharger works, but the battery is worthless. I have also been unable to locate a new battery, so I'm limited to using the camcorder with the plug-in adapter. I was also disappointed that no software came with the unit to enable the user to download pictures onto a computer.

Fun for Family Use.......2000-07-30

We received this camcorder last week. Although there is so much new technology available these days, it is so nice and simple to simply record something and then just pop the tape into the VCR to see what was recorded. The kids love it, and it is so nice to have less equipment around to play back your tape.

It is not too heavy or cumbersome to use.
