The CD player quit working after only five months.

Radio reception issues.......2003-10-30

I had a difficult time returning this item. It was easy to program radio stations into memory and at times the sound quality was good. The bass button was noticeable even with the stock headphones, which don't totally suck.
However, I just found tuner interference to be too much. In a neighborhood where my car stereo doesn't have annoying blips and gaps, this unit didn't give me good clean reception.
Both AM and FM reception had this problem at times.
Sunspot activity? Maybe---we are having high activity now.
Radio Shack's manager blamed the nuclear plant at Reed college....I doubt it---that would cause far more problems than radio reception.
He also said that no other units would be any better....we shall see....
I didn't try the CD player...I presume it would be fine.

This one was a flop. I bought one for my son and one for my daughter. My daughters stopped working right away. My sons will play but it skips a lot. So I am looking to replace them with something with a little better quality.

i'd hafta say that this cd player is only the average. it doesn't have any special features, it isn't particularly great, etc. and so on. But, on the flip side, it's got all the basics and so it isn't completley bad.

I have had this memorex cd player for a while now and i like it. It's nice to be able to listen to a c.d. then listen to the radio. The radio though has a lot of static. Very hard to listen to sometimes because of all the static. Very annoying to always have to change the stations because it takes forever it needs a scan button or something. Overall it a pretty good device.

THIS PRODUCT SUCKS.......2005-12-07

I bought the 1 gig for my camera... worked GREAT for about a week then in the middle of taking pics it acts weird. Turns out when I turn the cam back on ERROR! Looked up the troubleshoot in my camera manual and it says either Damaged or Dirty! I havent removed the stick so its damaged. Take it back and it is damaged. Get a new one and today (1 week later AGAIN) its broken! I was taking pics and it was acting weird AGAIN! This time Its a format error and I read about in the manual... I do what it says and reformat it and guess what? WONT WORK! Looks like this stick is gonna be returned too. Im so fed up. Im gonna get the SONY one hopefully because sandisk let me down hardcore!!!

I'll keep this simple.This is a incredible product at a excellent price.Almost 70% cheaper than at the Sony site.I don't know how they do it.It operates the EXACT same way as a original Sony Memory Stick Pro.That's because it actually is.The sticks are made by Sony and are packaged under the SanDisk name.Bottom line? DON'T WASTE HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS GOING DIRECTLY TO THE SONY SITE.The SanDisk memory sticks are of the EXACT SAME quality as the Sony.

Another thing:It was a absolute pleasure to deal with Adorama in NY City.Great company and I will DEFINITLEY be shopping there again.

This turntable allows you to play 33 rpm, 45 rpm, and 78 rpm!
You can also touch a button, and the record will play in reverse (without missing a beat).
You can adjust the pitch way beyond the scope of other record players.
You can adjust the tempo, and keep the pitch consistant with the original tempo!! Think about that one for a minute...
Overall, you should check this out. And chuck that dinosaur you've got, whattaya call it, oh yeah, the technics 1200.

A professional tool.......2002-09-01

I haven't owned a turntable since the seventies, so this seemed like an excellent device to hook up to my computer and turn all those great old LPs into CDs. Much to my consternation, it ships without a needle ("cartridge" to you audiophiles). What's that about? For someone who has only purchased cheap all-in-one sound systems, this required a minor research project. Research project #2 will be how to get it connected to my computer. Yes, it has a "digital ouput" port -- S/P DIF (which means Sony/Phillips Digital Interface), with an RCA jack. All the ports on my sound card are 1/8" mini-stereo. What next? I have to admit that this is a beautiful piece of equipment-- elegantly designed, but clearly targeted at the knowledgeable DJ... But, help the beginner, unless, like me, your thrills come from climbing learning curves. I'll write another review when I get it working!
