Optics and Resolution
The Dimage X20 features a 2-megapixel resolution that produces images up to 1600 x 1200 pixels for prints up to 8 x 10 inches. Other resolution modes include 1280 x 960 and 640 x 480. Thanks to the unique folded optics design, the Dimage X20's distinctive, non-protruding 3x zoom lens technology keeps the X20 ultra-compact and thin. It also has a 4x digital zoom.

Movie and Audio Modes
The XR (extended recording) movie mode enables you to capture as much video as will fit on your memory card. Video is captured with sound at 15 frames per second at resolutions of 320 x 240 and 160 x 120. You can also capture up to 15-second voice memos, or append a 15-second note to images.

More Features
Capture images quickly and quietly with the X20's 1-second activation, 0.1-second shutter release time lag, and 0.2-second playback interval.

Minolta's new multi-frame drive mode allows you to capture nine action-stopping frames of a single event in one picture. The nine images are laid out in a 3 X 3 grid in a single frame.

The DiMAGE X20's e-mail copy function makes a 640 X 480 or 160 X 120 JPEG copy of an image on the memory card so that it can be easily transferred over the Internet.

Bought this camera in September '03 and it was fantastic! I could put it in my jeans pocket and take it out with me everywhere on my travels. It took fantastic shots even in low light and the print quality was superior to some cameras even over 4 megapix. Disappointingly, it quit in the middle of my European Vacation in July '05 with a black screen that never went away. I can view the pix on the memory card but can't take any new pix.

Sadly it seems that this problem is par for this camera. It dies about 2 years later. Be Warned!

From the minds of Minolta... on second thought... forget it........2006-09-12

This was a cute little camera... at first. But I really didn't think the zooming in nor the zooming out was good at all while using the pictoral. It was hard to get the thing to focus properly. When using the video portion of the camera, the zoom in feature was great. But when you zoomed out, the distance would decrease significantly. We have had ours for about 3 years, and now it makes a little flicker of a beep when you try to turn it on, but it will not operate.

If you're going to get a digital camera, make it a good one... stay away from this model.

IMPORTANT SERVICE ADVISORY.......2006-01-18

In Feb 2004 I purchased this camera and was well pleased with it. However, by the end of 2005, the viewing screen suddenly went blank and would register no images although the rest of the camera (the menu, functions, modes and flash) were responding fine. I set it aside and finallly found a service advisory regarding this product and 150 other digital camera and camcorders thatt use image sensors manufactured by Sony's semiconductor group. The glue holding the CCD and wiring can decompose and disconnect the image sensor, causing distorted or no images. To request service for this model Konica Minolta, call toll free 1-888-473-2656 (I was unable to get through on this line repeatedly), or 1-201-574-4000. Tell them you know about the service advisory. They will email you a service form and ask you to send in the camera. I can't rate this product because I am just mailing my camera back tomorrow. Manufacturers are claiming they will repair the problem after the warranty period is ended.

this camera is terrible.......2005-11-25

i bought this camera only a year ago, and its been acting up ever since.
- the battery life sucks. the matteries will only stay full for not even 30 minutes.
- the LCD screen sucks. its beginning to change different colors, and blur occasionally.
- the zoom--- very blurry.
- and just recently it deleted all my pictures.

i highly recommend not buying this product.

When I brought this camera it was great, cool pictures, the size and look of the camera wasn't disappointed at all, but I have now 1 year and 7 months with it and it hasn't been working since a couple of month, first it started with lines on the screen and now it's a black screen and won't take a picture. I brought this camera because a friend of mine had it and I liked it very much, after I purchased it, another person liked it and brought it also, and now has the same situation as me, (started with the lines, and now it just work work).

This camera its cool if you dont plan on having it for long, meaning, that you will upgrade it later, so if you want to have a cool, non expensive camara for about a year and a half, you can buy it.

I heard that Samsung was stepping up their line of LCD monitors. What I love about this product:

1. Dual Interface: Analog/DVI
2. Hinge design - this thing can fold down flat and the profile is awesome
3. Looks great! I have the silver one and generally has small footprint on my desk.
4. Automatic adjustment, under analog - under DVI everything is pretty much automatic
5. Solid design!

No complaints and no problems. Next time I may target the 19".

Great Monitor, a little [more money].......2003-04-15

Got this monitor about 4 months ago and it has worked quite well. Its a bit [more money] but comes with a few more features than most. It has the DVI connection as well as the standard. One of the advantages of this is that you can connect two computers to monitor and just switch between sources with the button on the front. The clearity of the images are terrific, i am not exactly a video-phile but i have not noticed any negitive attributes. I have never watched a full length movie but movie clips like previews for instance play quite well and there is not any noticable lag in color change. Its probably not worth the price if you dont have the dvi connection for you computer, but it certainly increases the quality.

Super-glue not included.......2007-08-23

The MDR-V300's are only the second pair of Sony headphones I have owned since I had to retire my my old "Studio Monitor" series pair I had for many years. My only complaints are the cheap plastic headbands and the earpads. The cord and the drivers outlast the headbands. The cord never came apart and the drivers sounded fantastic just like the day I bought them, after so many years of use. But not long after owning them the plastic starts to crack and split here and there. I have had to always keep a bottle of super-glue near by just for this purpose. Im sure down the road my V300's (which I have glued many times already) will endure the same, and I will be left with yet another pair of drivers and a cord to toss away.

Earpads on the other hand are comfy but made out of the thinest and cheapest material and tear very easily. A piece of garbage bag would have lasted longer. I think for the price Sony could at least toss in an extra pair. Like headphones used to back in the 80's... remember?

But the sound is what makes me put up with all this and for that reason alone, I will continue to buy.

So, hey Sony, how bout some better headbands and I will give you 5 stars next time... deal?

Far Better For the Money.......2007-07-18

Before I got into and started collecting headphones, this was the set I used. If you want the short of it, there are several better options than the V300 for the money. It is generally a dark and boomy headphone. It is also fragile. Though mine haven't yet broken, a common site with these headphones is a broken gimbal joint on one of the cups and/or cracked and flaking earpads. In their defense, I think they have a rather beefy cable -- albeit a studio length cable which makes them a hassle for portable use. They are also very comfortable.

There are far better options for this amount of money and less. Most of the Koss line immediately springs to mind, particularly the KSC75 and Pro35a. I also recommend the Sennheiser HD201 (which Sennheiser has apparently recently improved on in the HD205, but I don't have personal experience with it) and the Sennheiser PX100. If you want to stick with a Sony, I would recommend you perhaps hold out for the slightly more expensive, certainly more venerable, V6/7506 (NOT to be confused with V600!).

headphones are great for ipod or cd players volume is descent and earpieces are comforable for the person who works out and uses music for motivation . good headphones

Good sound for small heads.......2007-02-06

These headphones produce reasonably good sound, but they are a little tight on my big (adult) head. They are perfect for my kids, however. The cord is really long, so use with an iPod is a bit awkward.

These simply are the best headphones that I have ever heard!
I bought these to go with my Ipod. I don't like the fact of the earbuds being in my ears(its uncomfortable) but they sound really good. So I bought these to replace my earbuds. They still have the Neodymium magnets and a frequency response of 16-22,000 Hz/Sensitivity: 102 dB/mW.
