I tried this tv its okay once the channels wouden't come up so we buyed a new piece.I broke the cable recciver so i returned.I would suggest to put it on your buy list but maybe not bye it until you like it.

Don't waste your money!.......2005-11-05
I tried this TV out the first night I got it and the V-Chip decided on its own to lock out a few channels. Customer service could not help me. They authorized a return to the Chino CA warehouse. It cost me $38.00 to send it to them. A MONTH LATER I got the replacement only after repeated calls to customer service over the delays, and run-arounds with customer service supervisors (customer service is itself a treat with this company -NOT!). As soon as I tried out this replacement TV, it also started to lock out various channels on its own. It will lock out a channel at random for 15 to 60 minutes all on its own. Customer service does not call me back . Don't waste your money.

Great display out of the box with minor adjustment for color, tint, etc. Exceptional display w/DVD. Sound quality is good. This is a substantial unit and difficult to beat at this price level.

Great picture, plays everything I put in it. I can't believe there's no digital output on an HD set. This would be 5 stars with that one feature. I have never seen a DVD player without digital out, which makes me wonder about the quality of the DVD player. The speakers sound a little high pitch, but not too bad. For the money, not a bad deal. Amazon.com ships free and I got it in about three days in California. Go with the free shipping. What a deal.
Hard to complain about this LCD TV.......2005-04-30
I have had this LCD TV/DVD combo tv for about a week now and am primarily using it in the office for computer and DVD watching. It's amazing how much better the picture looks when using the built in DVD player instead of the DVD drive in my computer. The TV picture is nice, despite the "made in China" brand name. The brightness level needed to be tweaked a little before an adequate picture could be watched but overall, it has a decent remote control and it works as advertised. The housing is not at all cheap looking, which you wouldn't expect in this price range and the sound quality does not sound "tinny" or like laptop computer speakers. One thing to note is the computer resolution, which is not stated anywhere but in the manual. It is not 1280x768, which is the native resolution of the LCD TV, but rather 1028x768. I was a bit disappointed that the VGA input would only produce this resolution, as there are other 17" LCD TV's that do higher. I was a bit misled thinking that it would produce the resolution advertised as the TV's resolution. I love amazon and would have returned this TV in a heartbeat if it didn't perform to its pricetag, but this product turned out to be a keeper. Hope this helps other buyers.

Good general home headphones.......2007-09-23
They are comfortable, big and the cord is extremely long. I mainly purchased this headphone to use for gaming. I listened to music and movies on my LCD screen and it's not bad, not the best bass producing device, but it's good enough for under $30. The build is sturdy. Your ears will probably sweat a bit if wear it for a long period of time, but still this is a decent set of headphones. The bass is better than some of the similiar priced Panasonic/JVC headphones I have tried out. If you want true high fidelity, then you will probably be seeking elsewhere and paying a LOT more for a set of headphones.
They're good for what they are. . ........2007-09-14
These are very basic headphones, and I have to be honest that I absolutely cannot distinguish between the music mode and the movie mode. I switch it back and forth, no significant difference, or any difference for that matter so in that sense I was a bit disappointed. But as just plain headphones they are really good and comfortable. They do amplify audio levels to some extent and they cancel out a fair amount of noise, so yeah for the most part I'm satisfied. I'm not sure if it's better but I think if I could go back, I would have bought the more expensive Sony headphones though. There's definitely a reason why this is tens of dollars more cheaper than the other Sony models.
Practice-Space.......2007-08-09
These were purchased primarily for digital-piano practice-sessions, so as not to disturb any of my neighbors (replacing my AKG K-55's which finally broke-down after several years). They do their job well in that department, and for $25.00 you can't do better for this application. Forget spending 40+ dollars on headphones specifically intended to be set-aside for music practice, in my experience these are all you will need! On the downside, I've discovered their potential for enjoyment of ALREADY recorded musical work is not quite on-par; the bass-capacity on these things is HORRIBLE for a headphone so large (except on my piano), though in every other area their large stereo-quality seems to shine through (especially with the Beatles.) It handles Treble and Midrange quite well, moderating them pleasantly, but when it comes to bass, forget it; just buy Sony's MDR-W24V if you want to LISTEN to music with your headphones, rather than play it yourself... 4-stars for doing what I need for them to do!
Good for the price, but not on sound..........2007-08-02
I just recieved these August 1st and after some testing and playing around with them, they seem ok. They do the job but it lacks so much sound. The bass is not there as much as i would want to and the high notes are just too high.
The plastic that they are made of, feels cheap and hollow. It seems as if you bend them, they will just snap in half. If i had the chance to do it again, i would avoid them....but then again, they were only 24$. If you want high quality sound, pay a high price.
