Cheap camera produces lovely shots.......2007-08-01

I was interested in this camera because of it's cheap price, only to realize that the pictures came out much better than expected. The trick, I believe, is the type of film that is used in the camera, and I only use fujii 800 speed 35 mm film, which I have to say has produced some magnificant results. Just follow the directions and all will be well. I thought the fact that it didn't focus would affect the pictures in a major way, but I was proven wrong.
I love this little cheap feeling camera and will continue to use it for as long as it works!

Wharfedale is a best-kept secret in the audio world.......2007-03-30

Wharfedale speakers have always impressed me and the Topaz SW-8 is no exception. I have seen some less than glowing reviews but I believe if the sub is set up correctly in a quality system, it will shine. I am currently using it to augment the bass in a 2 channel system. I have it wired in-line with Wharfedale Sapphire SP-83's. I have a Luxman R-115 sending the signal and the results are defined, deep, musical notes in the register below what the SP-83's can deliver. The sub benefits from spikes and I have added 20lbs of weight inside the amp side of the enclosure. Setting the crossover took seconds, checked the phase and was completely satisfied with the musicality of the little sub. I believe a larger sub should be employed for explosive home theater and have not tried the SW-8 in that environment. For a 2 channel system in a small to medium sized room, it cannot be beat. I picked this one up for $40.

Not bad.......2003-03-25

While this is not a real powerful subwoofer, it does nicely complement the Wharfedale bookshelf speakers (I have the "aniversity diamond 7" models. It doesn't make any disagreeable sounds, as some more powerful subs sometimes do.

I have been familar with wharfedale since the early 80's and wanted to add a subwoofer to my system, so I was glad when this product was available. It is a very good subwoofer for small to medium size rooms and gives off good base. For the price I would recommed it.

there's absolutely no power to it at all. even worse, i thought i was getting 150 watts, but the manufacturer's manual says 80. do not buy this product.

Where's the BEEF?.......2001-08-03

Not what I expected at all, but it had the necessary bells and whistles and set up was easy, so I give it 2 stars. The problem was it sound like someone's stomach was growling in the corner...Where's the BEEF!!! I tried switching the phases, tweaking the crossover frequency, and increasing the output from the receiver and nothing made it cough up the goods. Based on the specs, I thought I'd be getting a 150-watt amp in an 8" woofer, but the documentation still says 75-watt. It seems that the manufacturer can cover up the specs on the box with a sticker that says 150-watts and make it sound louder. I don't doubt that they put in the new amp, but I was not hearing what I expected from a 150-watt subwoofer. I was so disappointed. My wife even mocked me for getting such a wussy woofer, for my new home theater system. But I have since ordered a 250-watt sub from another manufacturer and I am keeping my fingers crossed. I'll be rumbling the theater room in no time and she'll be cowering in the corner! (EVIL LAUGH) My suggestion is if you are having a hard time rationalizing spending a little more of the budget for a bigger sub - DO IT.

This is a very handy organizer. However, an alternative should have been provided so that data can be entered directly to the REX without the need for a PC.

While small and light this organizer is Extremely useful. It has all the storage functions of a palm pilot (but a much smaller memory) and as low a price as a regular organizer. I believe that this is one of the most handy name, date, address, and phone number storage organizers around. Its only flaws are that it has very confusing directions and a small memory.

Exellent product.......2000-02-05

It is by far the best product I have pruchase the last two years. It works great with Outlook and I can track all my 1'000 Access-Business adresses all the time with me. For me I have purchase 2 extra sets just as reserve. For my business I need 20 - 50 more of these (I will give this to my best customers with all the product data-s in it) Does any body know where I could get more of Rex-3 with IS ? (In December I was desperately seeking the Rex-3 version in LA, nobody seems to sell this exellent tool any more.)

I was recently robbed. Lost my Organizer (180U$S), all data (7 years of information), and the criminals got all my info. So, I needed a cheap device, that force me to have a backup, and with some kind of password to access data. Then I found the 29.99U$S Rex 3, and my life changed. It comes with a usefull leather envelope that lets you store some cards where to write the information you get on the go. Write it down later on your PC and REX and forget about losing information. ADVICE: If you work with Outlook you must purchase also TrueSync Plus for Outlook. A must have 1 step synchronization application. The original soft you get with the Rex needs to be loaded with the Outlook information first, and then to the Rex. (two steps)

A must have!.......2000-01-04

I recently purchased a Sharp Y-180 organizer for 39.99 to replace my old Sharp 32K thinking it would be great to have the ability to back-up my data to my PC. Only to find the software not only cumbersome to use, but unable to import information from any other program. I could upgrade the software and get a version that is able to import from Outlook, but at an additional cost of 69.99 plus shipping. Back to the store it went.

Then I discovered the REX! Easy to install, import, synchronize and use. I had mine set-up and running in less an hour. For those of us that want our information readily available and don't want to spend a small fortune (Palm) to have it REX is the answer. If you are looking for a Palm type item, this is not the PDA for you. The only downside is not being able to add new info directly into it. But until I'm willing to spend 169+ for the next version, I'll just use my old Sharp as an electronic memo pad for my updates and as a calculator.
