For an amazing price, this color printer is as fast and sharp as the original HP lasers. It barely takes up any space and it's very fast. I'm very glad to have it, and the pricing was within my modest budget.

Wireless Bliss.......2007-09-18

This is the first wireless networked printer I've used. It was pretty easy to set up, if you are somewhat familiar with networking. Print quality is quite good, although not great on "copy" paper. Haven't tried photo paper yet. First print out does take a little time. Overall, very nice, and would recommend this printer for general printing use.

Quality Color Printer at a Reasonable Price.......2007-09-04

Sturdy and easy to setup. Connected directly to PC via USB. I'm just using this for text and the prints look good.

Material Matters.......2007-08-24

My trusty HP 1115 finally bit the dust, so I took a chance on this one. I say chance because I used my HP 1115 to print on fabric and tracing paper for quilting projects. I have tried this on other all-in-one printers only to have my efforts bunched up inside the printer. I'm happy to report that this one is working well with fabric and tracing paper.

Awful.......2007-08-23

I was very optimistic about purchasing this printer after reading all the other reviews. However, I'm running on Vista and the wireless wouldn't connect. I could have the printer itself connected to my router and then have my computer printer via the router, but I never actually had the wireless connection I was promised. I spoke with HP customer support for about 10 hours over the course of 3 days, all to no avail, before the final person hung up on me. I ended up giving up and just returning it to Amazon. I'll never buy from HP again, be warned.

Nice Ink at a Grossly Inflated Price

Despite being very happy with my HP Officejet 7310, the ink has turned out to be a painful expense. In the past six months, I have gone through three of these cartridges. I hate to single HP out, but the entire inkjet industry is guilty of fighting price transparency with inexpensive printers and inflated ink. This is not to mention the constant changing of ink cartridges models. Does HP really need 200 different models of ink cartridges? No. It would, in fact, be much cheaper to consolidate the cartridge offerings. However, this would lead to easy duplication and remanufacturing by third parties.

What is particularly amusing, and perhaps offensive to some, is the enclosed "recycling" envelope that comes with new HP ink cartridges. This prepaid envelope, with the empty cartridge, goes back to HP so that it can demonstrate its environmental leadership. Of course, HP doesn't want the empty cartridges to go back into the hands of companies that refill and remanufacture them. Although I haven't done the calculations, I would assume the transportation and handling costs would actually do more harm than good to the environment. My suggestion is to fill the prepaid envelope with torn up remains of the consumer packaging that comes with the cartridges.
